Ruby

I just receive this in yesterday. And I took it out of the plastic wrapper and noticed that the box, the printing on the box looked faded and worn. I also purchased ambre, and that was pristine.The box was pristine. When I took ruby out of the box, even the printing on the bottle looked worn almost as if perfume had spilled on it.And worn off the ink. I sprayed the fragrance, and it smelled like it had turned. Ambre bottle was gorgeous and the fragrance is absolutely stunning. I did some research to find out if this was a typical Middle Eastern fragrance that needed time to develop and mature, and everything I read said no that these fragrances were ready to go. And ambre is proof that that is the case. There's something wrong with my bottle of Ruby. Also, the date on the bottle is 2023.Were they used by date of 2028. I do realize that perfume can last 20 years. If well taken care of as I have that are very old. And still smell as good as they did. When first opened. I'm going to take some pictures of this and reach out. And let them know that. I think for some reason, this particular bottle may be something that I don't know.Maybe it's defective right off.The bat or maybe was used and returned.I don't know.I have no idea, but i'm definitely reaching out, and I definitely want a new bottle of ruby, as I said, ambre is probably one of the most beautiful fragrances.I have smelled in a very long time.The projection, the longevity.Everything about it was absolutely stunning.But ruby is an absolute dud.
