Crumble Me Softly

I haven't worn OFG so not sure. I have tried a few from PDM. The two standouts to me were Carlisle and Haltane. Both are great. This is not Carlisle to me. This is more like dropping a warm chocolate chip cookie into Haltane and sprinkling it with patchouli. Love this stuff. Surprisingly, my wife like it as well. Not too sweet. Just right. I am here for it. 11+ hours in longevity. Decent projection in the beginning. No quite ready to spend for the bottle. One day. I have a travel 5ml size and I will use every last bit.

This perfume is simply brilliant! 🍪🔥 From the very first moment, it feels like being wrapped in the scent of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and silky caramel, but not in an overly sweet, cloying way. It’s the kind of sweetness that makes you instantly smile and crave more. The nutmeg, saffron, and lavender add just the right touch of spice, perfectly balancing everything so it never becomes too much.

It has an interesting depth, compared to being a gourmand fragrance. The amber-moss-patcholus oud is very dominant at the end, but I like that it is not the usual gourmand scent. It's interesting that the opening is more creamy than chocolate chip for me. All in all, a pleasant disappointment! :)

This starts off lovely, and develops to something else with an oudy attitude, but not into something unwearable. It does speak to me in an unconventional way...may be off-putting to some, but it's a winner for me 9/10

This is a photorealistic just baked bakery cookies with warm sweet dough and melted chocolate with a hint of vanilla. Definitely a warm weather scent. I have a love hate relationship with a lot of gourmand smell great but then im like where am I wearing this too? I hear people saying to wear it when you want to smell edible as they wiggle their brows but in my humble opinion, all gourmand make people do when they smell one on me is go get something to eat, something sweet, because I am not the edible, the scent i am however is. I still think credit has to be given to make something so realistic. And...i just love this house. 4.2/5

This started off so beautifully but ended so badly on my skin. It went from a lovely gourmand to something way too smoky (cypriol and oud, maybe?). I'd suggest trying it before buying.

The name and description grabbed my attention! Had to try it! Got the 10 ml decant from scentsangel.com Oh my goodness... what a ride!! Initially, I thought WHAT ON EARTH as it was kind of chocolate chip cookie gourmand but eating the cookie during intermission at a beautiful dress up event where you can smell everyone's deep, rich woody fragrances mingling quietly in the background! It dries down to the most lovely and warm caramelized woody vanilla. If you can get through that initial surprise of notes, it will be so pretty! I do get some lavender, and can imagine wearing this one on one arm and Purple Suede or Burberry Goddess Intense on the other arm to bring out the lavender, or using a strong vanilla to bring out the more gourmand elements. I love this one! Was also a huge fan of Balle Rouge and Tobacco Flirting with Vanilla by Mes Bisous!

This is a delicious oud cookie. I feel the marketing is a bit deceptive because it really isn't a sweet gourmand chocolate chip cookie. I think those looking for that kind of gourmand will be disappointed with this.I only tried it because my daughter gave me a sample and I am in love! It is the perfect balance of sweet cookie, oud, patchouli, and dry woods, leaning a bit masculine. It has a very addictive trail with great performance. It is the same type of gourmand as Angel to my nose. I would buy a full bottle immediately were it not for the steep price. If you want a photorealistic sweet cookie gourmand this may not be for you but if you like your cookie with a side of patchouli and oud give this a try.

Oh this is good! Darkly sweet chocolate and oud, in perfect balance. However, it mimics Dark by Akro to my nose. Ever so slightly masculine since the wood goes dirty and dry. I prefer Dark and have a full bottle of that, otherwise I'd want this. Bought a 10 ml decant blindly from the name and notes. The sillage and longevity is TOP notch- lasts until you wash or shower. The next day- I would grab a well priced bottle. This is really good. however, I still stand that Dark is very very similar.

It smells like Qahwa Lattafa towards the end, I think that this would make a great scent for a winter coat or clothes in general, it lasts a while, too! I am getting more and more fond of it!
