This is a confident, captivating fragrance with excellent projection and longevity—the kind that gets noticed without trying too hard. People genuinely enjoy how it smells on you, which isn’t always a given with oud-forward scents. While oud and rose lovers may expect something traditional, this one breaks from the typical oud‐rose formula. Bright touches of grapefruit cut through early on, giving the scent an unexpected lift. As it develops, patchouli and cinnamon peek through, adding warmth and depth without overwhelming the composition. The result is a fragrance that feels smooth, well‐blended, and addictive, rather than heavy or challenging. It wears beautifully and confidently, making it an easy choice for anyone who wants something distinctive yet approachable. Overall, Oud Hypnotique is a great wear and a solid fragrance well worth trying, especially if you appreciate oud compositions with a modern, slightly daring twist.

Another rose + oud combo and I'm unbothered because it's one of my favorite combos in perfumery, don't care how common it is! I'm of the humble opinion that it's damn near impossible to go wrong with that combination. Oud Hypnotique is done very well, and the saffron + grapefruit puts something new on the table (it's different and slighty unusual!). But let me tell you... if there's anyone out there that remembers what an original Smirnoff Black Ice smells like, I was thrust back into the early 2000's when I sprayed this on because the opening smells exactly like popping the top off a bottle of Smirnoff's Black Ice. It's wild the way it triggered a very long-lost scent memory for me. Aside from that, it's just a gorgeous blend and long-lasting. Makes me want to try more from Mes Bisous!

Blind buy it and it is a really good fragrance,eventhough it is typical oud rose perfume,but this one smells really great,non animalic and suitable for those that wanted to enter the oud fragrance,doesn’t similar at all with Ombre Nomade,this one smells classic and elegant while Ombre Nomade is truly masculine,own both and both are my favourite perfume for time being !

Incredibly masculine yet inviting for women also. One of the most intoxicating, mysterious, confident, yet calming winter/special occasion fragrances I have ever smelt, and you WILL smell better than everyone else and they will know it. I would however recommend you to sample it before buying because I couldn’t recommend this as blind buy safe. 10/10

This is easily the smoothest, cleanest oud fragrance I've ever purchased. I can use this all year round. Nothing offensive and easily crowd pleasing. I am thoroughly impressed. Easily my second favorite oud fragrance of all time, if not tied for first.

I like this shit a lot. My girl wears it, I wear it. I don’t usually like rose anything but I’ve always kept my eyes peeled for one that I would potentially enjoy. I finally found it.

I must say that I’m quiet into this oud scent because it’s very soft, fruity and sweet. It’s not unique but it’s definitely nicely done. Smooth, powerful and delicious.

This is a great scent. You know what this reminds me of? Montale Infinity. Almost. But this scent is more Earthy where Infinity has alot of Plum and Cherry added to the Oud and Saffron. Both smell good I wish Oud Hypnotique was slightly more Oud focused. Maybe tone the Saffron down and dial up the Oud. Maybe add Frankincense or Incense to it. Maybe call that Oud Mysterieux. I also tried Tobacco Flirting with Vanilla. This is more masculine by far. What i don't pick up with Oud Hypnotique is the Vanilla,Grapefruit or Cinnamon. The Saffron really does dominate here. I consider Oud Hypnotique a Western Oud. A pleasant non barnyard Gourmand Oud. Want the harsh Oud? Bortnikoff Tabac Dore. And trust me, that's lighter than Frederic Malle The Night. Do not blind buy The Night. Always sample first.

I understand why saffron is used I really do. I understand the concept. But I hate it. It’s in everything now. That being said, this is a very clean oud with only a small amount of saffron. very spicy at the start, but it mellows pretty quickly. Vanilla tobacco oud in the heart. minuscule rose. I think this is very manly Could a woman wear it? absolument I am someone who leans towards unisex and some masculine fragrance. But I don’t think it’s my bag, but it is sweet and I think on the right man it would be delicious. One of the least synthetic ouds I’ve come across.

The opening is very spicy, intense and tickling! Cinnamon appears to be well blended in the composition, lightly hovering over an intense dose of sweet saffron, which yields all intensity and spiciness, no true leathery nuances at all.The black pepper is but a touch. The base of oud warms up instantly, and it is of course the part that lasts and stands out the most. It is a type of humid, sweet, and intense oud. Clean and pleasent, very reminiscent of the quality used by Montale, and somewhat similar to those of Francis Kurkdjian. The evolution of the fragrance is very simple: a classic rose and oud combo. I didn't pick up any graprefruit, no zestiness, no sour touch. No refreshing sensation. We have a very intense pink rose, unisex but still sweetened by the vanilla in the base. The oud, already leading humid on its own, is rendered somewhat musty by a touch of unruly patchouli. There is no true medicinal edge, but the saffron, still lingering in the composition, gifts a somewhat "bitter" facet to the depth of the oud. An earthy aspect is present, accompanying the last stage of the fading floral heart. The dry down is all oud ligtly fading in to a a semi sweet vanilla. All in all, it is a good fragrance, well made, well balanced, and extremely long lasting and strong projection (in an extract fashion). Presentation is very curated, the fragrance is presented in a book packaging format, stimulating to look and hold for sure. A story seems to be somewhat there. BUT... the dna of the fragrance is yet too common. In Italy I would have to pay 260,00€ for this fragrance, and I am willing to do that only with truly artistic fragrance. In this case, apart from the packaging, I don't see anything truly artistic behind it. This will appear maybe too blunt, but I only see a commercial design here. No perfumer is indicated by the brand. Where is the creativity? Were is the artistic, niche aspect here? The price surely is niche, but not the soul of fragrance. "An old spell" indeed...as they cite on the "poetry" in the packaging. In terms of reference I could say Oud Hypnotique is a sort of mix between Arabian Tonka by Montale, Instant Crush by Mancera and Oud Satin Mood by Francis Kurkdjian. I could cite of course another 100 fragrances... at this price, I would prefer to buy something original or maybe other offerings from the brand (Balle Rouge comes to mind).

Your typical expensive niche style Oud fragrance. I had high hopes for this house and it didn't quite put out for me. Imagine something like Ombre Nomade or Oud Maracuja with the overwhelming ambrocenide, dry, amber. Thats what I get from this. If thats your thing, then you're in for a treat. Just wish niche and designer would better represent what oud actually is and all of its glory.

Going to be honest here I don’t really leave reviews on things since I just made an account to review this product because of the hype that I’ve seen I expected something more true and quality of a rose oud combo. However this isn’t something special it smells so chemically based with barely if any raw materials. You’re paying for the packaging which is nice but it smells like 95% the same as Odyon Dubai Scorpion Intense which is much cheaper. The only note difference is slight amount of a grapefruit scent over the dry down. There’s nothing cinnamon in this perfume. I do like the stories and ideas behind it but I’ll save you some time with spending money with this. If you feel this is for you I’d recommend sampling it first. There are better options if you want a genuine Oud Rose combo. I’ll give it time to macerate and see if anything changes.

If you expect the silky softness of oud from this fragrance, it is definitely not for you. The metallic note comes through very clearly, overshadowing the oud. What you get instead is a heavy dose of spices with a metallic edge loudly declaring “I’m here.” Despite the packaging and presentation suggesting it will take you on a journey, it never really delivers that experience. The only thing it achieves is a kind of projection that simply says, “I sprayed a perfume, and it smells.” For this price, I wouldn’t purchase it. Definitely not suitable for a blind buy.

The cinnamon in this fragrance kills it for me. It wants to be a smooth fragrance but the cinnamon note gives it a peanut butter smell.

This is my first Rose, Oud, Saffron and Patchouli type fragrance, this was a blind buy for me. I keep seeing people saying that this type of particular combo is played out, but then these people call every fragrance, or particular scent profile that goes mainstream played out, same people also overlap with people that claim every fragrance smells the same, except for the artistic unwearable ones. So I guess their qualification of played out fragrances - is mass use, which makes no sense. Because vast majority Perfume company's goal is to sell as much fragrance as they are able to produce. The whole thing with claiming that fragrances are played out, is played out itself - really. I've seen certain reviewers mention that this particular fragrance is a great entry into the genre of Rose, Oud, Saffron and Patchouli, as this fragrance (or one the few) that has all four notes in one fragrance. So far I'm liking what I'm smelling, as many people - I want a fragrances that I'm able to wear, this seems like a wearable one. Dark, earthy & aspects, I get whiffs of something that reminds of leather too. The rose is not overwhelming, but I can still detect it. Awhile I can't say this is the best fragrance to get into in this particular genre (I picked it up at a really great price), I have nothing else to compare it to in my collection.

This is such a gorgeous Oud. I mean wow, I cannot get enough of it. Got a decant of it recently and will grab a full bottle soon. Soft, round and smooth, but with tons of character and depth. Can’t recommend it enough.

There is way too much saffron and vanilla in this fragrance. Or something along the lines of that. Almost gives it a strawberry smell. Not a fan at all

Rose and oud. In the same dna as arabian oud resala with some freshness from citruses. Overpriced as hell
