Tobacco Flirting With Vanilla

If Initio put this in a red bottle, many fragrance fans would be falling over themselves to buy it. I'll start with the good: this smells like the best parts of several fragrances from houses like Tom Ford, Initio, and Dior. Now the bad: this smells like a Frankenstein of many successful fragrances. The opening minute reminds me Vilhelm Darling Nikki. Then it reminds me of Lost cherry, TFTV, vanille fatale, side effect, and Feve Deliciouse. Hell, there might be some Kilian Rose Oud in here too (Kilian Rose Oud doesn't actually have any oud). I could rattle off several more, but you get the idea. So it loses some points for originality, but if you're looking for an all in one fragrance, this is it. Lasts on my dry skin for half a day. If you don't like cherry, don't bother because the cherry is prominent (but doesn't dominate) here.The iris is also fairly prominent. I'd recommend this to someone that only wants a small collection of fragrances and doesn't care about originality. This one covers a lot of ground. Scent 8/10 Performance 8/10

I really like this perfume. This impending winter I have been seeking something sweeter than the typical dark and brooding cloud of tobacco vanilla concoctions I typically indulge in. I am pleasantly surprised by the opening notes: bright but subdued, seductive. And the tobacco meets you even at the top, but literally seems to tease you until you want it more much later on. I really love how this scent is playing with my skin and senses. I appreciate the dance between bright and secretive. Let’s see how this lasts in a few hours!

This is so amazing and well blended. It seamlessly transitions from top to middle to base notes. Beautiful cherry, tobacco, cinnamon are most prominent on my skin. However, it doesn't seem to last very long for an extrait. So I'm not sure if I will get a fb. It does last pretty well on my clothes. I would be more likely to get a smaller bottle if they offered it. I'm so fickle when it comes to scent that I usually try to get a small bottle. I'm more apt to finish it. But yall....this smells goooood!!!!

This perfume undoubtedly amazing. Very calm and warm. Spouse loving it. Sillage great in first 15 minutes after that it’s intimate. I’m surprised and in love with it from the first to the end.

The presentation is amazing. I am so glad this is a fresh fall-ish fragrance. Yes, it has similarities to Initio’s Side Effect but it is less gourmand. Completely unisex and an easy reach.

Cherry and tobacco top, followed by vanilla and cinnamon. Absolutely gorgeous fall and winter fragrance.

This opens w/ a crisp bergamot and a tart cherry note. After about 5-7 minutes it becomes a cherry scented rose perfume. I get a lot of rose here and for me that makes it lean feminine, but it really is a unisex perfume. A soft powdery iris comes through, but it doesn't take over. This is a lightly floral perfume focusing on rose w/ a big cherry tobacco presence. As the perfume dries down it becomes more tobacco centric. Cherry tobacco w/ roses. Unisex, very nice. This is pretty linear though not much complexity here but still a nice fragrance. Edit: Sampling this again and I have to downgrade this to an ok vote. The more I try this out the more of a candle vibe I am getting. So many new perfumes lack the complexity that I desire and this one is just too linear for me. It lacks mystery, it is too straightforward. Bam, here is cherry, bam here is rose, bam here is iris, bam here is tobacco. It is just unfinished. Dull. Forgettable.

I certainly get the Side Effect vibe. Lasted about 7 hours for me with decent projection early on. Remove the booziness from Side Effect and toss in cherry and bergamot. There you have it. The cherry and bergamot in the opening last for several hours on me. Then it settles into a wonderful tobacco with a hint of Vetiver. If I had to pick one. It would be this over Side Effect.

In the opening it’s is a sweeter softer version of Initio side effects. Sweet tobacco, with a slight fruity vibes and also boozy I wonder where the boozy vibe is coming from. After a while that booziness go away the tobacco gets less intense and it becomes a sweet amber scent

I tried a sample of this and it does remind me if Initio Parfums Side Effect a bit. It is nice and light. Definitely see this being more feminine. If I you desire a masculine scent then try Mes Bisous Oud Hypnotique. That's a masculine one.

The opening is a bit too sharp for me: dry spices mostly and probably some white flowers. Then it transforms into cherry tobacco scent with a bit of sweetness, but again quite dry one with some amberwood in the base.

i meaan, okay for me, but not that bad too. It's the exact same dna all over again, guess which one. If you said Triupmh of bacchus, you're right. It's so similar that just like tob, this also gets more heavy on the vanilla when it dries down. The only slightest diffirence i get from this is that it has the added cherry note. If im being honest, this house is kinda not original at all. The passion island is really similar to erba gold, wondrous flight is an earthy and less powdery version of vibrato, and this one is litteraly tob. Don't get me wrong, the scents are great and really likeable in general. It's just that it gets kind of boring after smelling the same fragrance over and over again. But if i had to be honest, this is quite better than tob thanks to a bit of florals and the cherry. 8/10

It is a nice smelling fragrance but very weak..hardly last one hour on skin...

Cherry on the top notes with a mild tobacco and taste of vanilla. I was expecting more TF Tobacco Vanille given it's name and this was not it. Softer scent and not as projecting I thought on my skin. Seems like several scents pulling in differing directions to me and not super smooth, but not offensive either. It was an OK scent rated 7/10 in my opinion.

A woodier version of Initios Narcotic delight with a dry sandalwood type note. Tobacco fragrances in this realm just miss the true intoxicating aroma actual tobacco absolute has. I get why some may not be able to use it or dont want to, but these fragrances get maybe what I would estimate to be about 10-20% of actual tobacco.

Couldn’t sense one note because it’s so strong in aromachemicals my nose never smelled anything else.

This is similar to side effect, not wery but it is similar it has the same tobacco and rom smell even though this doesn't have rom listed as a note, but this one doesn't have the same type of berry in it this is more like smooth and more elegant, not that side effect isn't, but the berry note in side effect makes it more fresh and light. This is overall a good scent but given the price I think this is way too overpriced and you should rather by side effect instead of this, because this not wery complicated this dosent really evolve that much and for me, it becomes kind of boring. Smell 8/10 Longevity 8/10 Silage 8/10

This is a nice fragrance. There is just one problem. It lacks identity, because it smells identical to Initio Side Effect. From the start, I pictured that square eggplant colored bottle in my head because it is practically a clone. I don't have Side Effect in my possession to do a side my side comparison, because there may be subtle differences. However, Side Effect came to mind without having to view the Fragrantica "reminds me of" section of this page. I'm mostly picking up a warm, spicy and hazy cinnamon infused tobacco. Distinct, but too familiar.

A flirt. Fast, fleeting, between two diametrically opposed personalities. A game in which the cherry is perceived, slightly fizzy, with its sensual and rich aspects, giving space to the true encounter: the one between vanilla and tobacco. A light vanilla, a soft tobacco. Two very different notes that blend together, each giving up its own characteristics, let it be clear for a short time, because we are talking about flirting. A beautiful interpretation of the union of tobacco and vanilla, always wearable, versatile and elegant.

As many people have said earlier, this is soo similar to 'Side Effect' by Initio. The moment I smelled it - I was like 'hey, I have smelled this before', it really is so similar to Initio. Thankfully, I have both samples so was able to test them side by side. So Initio is sweeter and more cherry forward, whilst TFWV is more tobacco forward from the initial notes. As a female, I would definitely choose Side Effect, as a male I would go for TFWV.

This will develop quite differently, dependent on chemistry, but despite liking all the notes listed and LOVING the vanilla note here, my skin amps up a chemical-woody note prevalent in men's perfumery. It doesn't smell enough like tobacco and smells more like brash wood and men's cologne. However, I would dearly love to smell this one on a man. Nice fragrance and likely more than the sum of my personal experience.

This does not smell anything like Triumph of Bacchus. This smells like a cherry cola. The dry down is very soft and vanilla dominant with ambergris in the background. This is not a tobacco dominant scent. Performance is pretty good as well. This is a decent scent... just not a favorite of mine. I give it a 7.5/10.

This was too sweet so paired it with cuir patchouli it's now a dark sweet spicy patchouli tobacco bomb 😍 A great way to use up decants👌🤩

Reminds me of triumph of bacchus and eye of seven hills. Save your $250 unless you have been ordained by the universe to get it.

smells like a weaker version of Initio’s Side Effect.
