MEXX Fresh Woman

Trying this on was such a pleasant experience! At introduction a clean refreshing fragrance. But then I really love the calming, a bit earthy warm effects of the cedarwood and of the elegant white lotus that develops! Mmm.... restful, nice. It has it's feet on the ground. There is also no annoying sharpness. It is beautiful and it is affordable, but not smelling cheap or synthetic or sickely sweet or anything else like that. And it doesn't overpower my senses like many whimsical feminine or mysterious fragrances sometimes do. This is very good, but it just isn't something to wear for an evening out. I imagine I would love having this for a really easy fresh calm summer daytime scent, especially when I don't want something overpowering. I love it a lot from this first try on my skin.

Fresh: that's all this is. Not much of a scent, more like a fresh feeling. I can't tell apart any notes, it's just something pleasant. I hate to say this, but it's nothing special, it's almost nothing at all. I like it just because I don't really dislike it, I don't think anyone can dislike the scent, but it's just so boring and lame. Nice for a trip to grocery store or something but in the long run I would get reeeeally bored. And it's of bad quality. Lasts on me like an hour and doesn't project much if at all. I only bought this because my boyfriend has the male counterpart and it smells so good on him! Why is the female version so bland...

When I first spreyed this, I found it awful - sceeching and syntetic. Now after it rested for a while I find it quite nice, there is a slight sweet floral sharpness but I find it refreshing. It is sweeter than the design would let you think but still quite fresh. I will have to try it when it gets hotter, for 21° works like a charm. With time it gets even sweeter, will have to see how long it lasts but the sillage is good and even got the approval from my husband. Great freashy!

Very light and fresh like the name itself states.The kind of perfume you would want to wear in the summer, on a hot day to feel refreshed and cool.Makes you think of a beach and cold water . Not great on the lasting part, but then again, usually the fresh and light scents are not long lasting.All in all nice to have in a collection.

What a fresh, basic foral scent! The water lily is quite strong and there's a smell that reminds me of blonde wood. It's definitely on the cool side. I like it!

For me this is a soapy, floral scent. I barely smell the citrus note in it. It's nice but extremely boring and dull. Not fresh really. I sprayed it on my wrist and after 1,5 h I smell nothing.

Now I'm sure there is something wrong with me :D To me me this is anything BUT fresh. Headache inducing and heavy, I say. Unless I accidentally took a whiff of the men's version..

No. Weak sillage and lasting time is about 2 hours on my skin. Mostly tangerine, water lily and weak cedar. Easy to forget, nothing unique, all in all watery and weak.

Way too floral, not very fresh. Smells a bit like earwax or old attic, as florals often do to my nose. *haha*

Mexx Fresh Woman is indeed an aquatic, however I think the ad campaign got it right for once. They said it would smell "just like a genuine sea breeze", and they were spot on. Thankfully this is one aquatic I can stomach. It's a really simplistic blend, also a tad linear, yet somehow that doesn't bother me in the least. I picked the perfect day to test Mexx Fresh Woman, and in these sunny, warm conditions I am feeling refreshed and relaxed. This fragrance opens with a zesty burst of green mandarin and water lily. It works well on my skin because of its tendency to be more sweet and transparent rather than sharp and citrusy. Mexx Fresh Woman is more floral than anything else, with an underlying watery freshness. I really don't know what silk tree blossom and pink nerium oleander are supposed to smell like, but I assume they're present in the composition. Mexx Fresh Woman doesn't transport me to a sandy beach, but to the edge of a rocky shoreline, where I sitting on a cliff, watch the powerful waves hit the rocks. It's quite a feminine scent, possibly due to its sweet floral components, however the drydown introduces a rich, cedary blend which really brings out this fragrance's saltiness. I liked wearing Mexx Fresh Woman enough to recommend it to both floral and aquatic lovers alike. The sillage was pleasantly soft and subdued, while the longevity, (although not all that lasting), lasted a good four or so hours on my skin.

I don't know whether I was sampling from too old bottle, but this is the worst smell I have ever experienced from a perfume. And attempt for freshness with some synthetic orange and lilly. But it is so sour and tart. Probably the juice gone bad otherwise I can't imagine why would anyone release a scent that smells like urine. To me 1/10.

I think it smells good,but since it it so light, it is hard to tell. I guess that that is the "fresh" in the perfume.
