Mexx Woman

I met my boyfriend in Barcelona in august 2004. Before one of our first dates I put on Mexx Woman.I applied it generously in my hair as well as on my wrists and neck. I had the deodorant and the shower gel too to layer it. My boyfriend, who doesn't like perfumes in general, was wondering all night what the delicious smell was that he noticed in de bar where we were. It turned out to be Mexx Woman on me. It starts out fresh with citrus and alcohol and then settles down floral and amber and stays fresh. Sillage is moderate but I don't smell it anymore after an hour or so. Longevity in my hair seemed a bit longer... From 2002 untill a few years ago this was my signature. I really love the smell of it. I don't know if it is the perfume that has changed or if it is me, but lately I don't use it anymore. I think a man can wear this fragance perfecty well. My boyfriend uses my bottle too and it smells delicious on him ;-)

I got the perfume pen. Youthful, delicate, fresh, unisex leaning girly. Reminds me of a tall glass of sweet Iced Tea or coming out of the shower in the summer and wearing freshly dried clothes straight out of the drying machine, and laying on freshly changed sheets. I absolutely love Mexx's perfume pens they are the best at making any perfume last longer. 10/10

I used to love this fragrance when I was really young and couldn't afford it. When I finally bought it, it didn't seem as magical, unfortunately. So I think it is true what the description says, it is mostly suitable for a very young woman who wants to feel a little bit more grown up :)

I love it! there is something so beautiful about it, it's fresh but warm like a hug at the same time. Doesn't irritate my sensitive nose. I've rebought it like four times already. Perfect for every day, and good for layering.

I love bergamot! It's a sporty casual spring-to-autumn scent. Fresh, wearable in the office, not intrusive. A bottle of carefree lightness!

I love it and I like Mexx pure too because I don't like sugarsweet scent what makes me sick and gives me headache . :)

Inoffensive fresh and slightly sweet citrus scent. This is a very work appropriate, everyday fragrance. It does not overpower the entire room and is very neutral and fresh. I don't think anyone would be bothered by this perfume. The dry-down smells delicious. Of course it's not a very interesting scent and I wouldn't wear it to any special occasions, but it does the trick for normal days. I wear it a lot, it's just so pleasant. Definitely my favourite among the sweet citrus scents.

Oh I remember this was my first perfume I bought! I was around 13-14 and was so happy with it. My sister came from college one weekend and showed it to me :-D her fiance bought it to her lol reading these reviews seems guys like this perfume. I felt like Im maturing :) It is a citrus blended with yasmin with a bit of musk. Not too strong and very elegant. I remember it, it was a good one.

best from Mexx forever:) all these have their deodorant version which are surprisingly lasting andway cheaper, so i prefer to buy those. something i hardly believe is that none of the other big houses copied this classic. many perfumes nowadays has their twins created by all the brands, not this one though which makes it unique.

I like this one. It's fresh and clean, but not 'watery' fresh. And it's sweet, but not 'sugarsweet'. So there's a really good balance. A bit of citrus in the opening, but it's never sour.I think it's more for summer than winter. It lasts about 5 hours on me, good enough. A nice 'every day' or 'office' scent!

This perfume could be a (slightly more) feminine version of Boss Bottled. It could go as a unisex scent. I smell citrus notes and a nice woody base when it opens up. There's amber too. I'd say it's beautiful during warm weather and fall. Pretty! This would be a safe gift or blind buy.

It is quite strong for a citrus fragrance. Made for a bold girl, I think. Not a dreamy scent at all! It is energetic, serious, well balanced between citrus, sweet and orient.

I want a bigger bottle of this one:)i have to use a lot from it to make it last.

This is a pleasant, fresh sweet citrus fragrance. It’sa good fragrance if you want to smell clean and fresh without standing out. It’s a nice smell, not too heavy on the citrus, not screechy. It has decent silage and longevity on me. There’s nothing very memorable about it, but there’s also nothing off putting about it. I think it’s a safe blind buy as long as your skin tends to react well to citrusy fragrances. All in all a decent fragrance for the price. Clean, fresh, summery and uncomplicated. Very casual, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Note: I had an EDT version. Mainly citrusy scent, but more citrus juice rather than zest - unfortunately for me. High tempereture exposes cheap drugstore perfume vibe. Once I've detected a blackcurrant note - in cooler temperature. I don't smell any of listed flowers. On my skin it has bad lasting power, needs to be reapplied after 2h. I have to heavily overspray it. Moderatly elegant and inoffensive. I prefer using it more in spring rather than hot summer. In my opinion high temperature exposes the usage of probably more budget ingredients.

It's fresh, it's inoffensive, it's very... I don't know. It doesn't have anything catchy, anything memorable, anything special. It is a scent when you want to smell like something but at the same time you don't want to smell like anything. It's not one of those 'non perfumes' like Serge Lutens or that kind. They are very art-like 'non perfumes'. This one is just... meh. So very very very veeeeery generic. Not sweet, not oriental, not flowery... just very bland and indistinguishable.

Safe, simple and nice smelling scent for pennies. Soft floral with noticeable fresh pink rose with lemon zeise, warmed by soft wooden notes. Close to skin, casual for every day. Nothing sophisticated. I keep pen-parfume in my purse to refresh on the go.

Ik like this fragance but when I put it on is smells verry odd. I't is not compattible with my skintype, some fragances I realy like are just not smelling nice on my skin. But luckely enough there are many fragances who are compatible with my skin :)

this scent is not citrusy. It ́s more oriental with a hint of citruses. If somebody is complaining about the staying power, so try the EdP version of Mexx Woman. It should last longer. :-)

Almost pure jasmine, the sweet and indolic kind. I had my hopes up for some lily of the valley and amber, but no... the bergamot gives it a tiny bit of a tea like note though.

Generic sharp citrus from the drugstore.

This to me is a huge trip down memory lane. My time at uni in Budapest, this was one of my favourites that I wore the most. I got it from my (now deceased) sister, so added nostalgic value. I used up two bottles back then! I bought it for this reason when I saw it on sale in Notino, and memories of nights out and dates and long summer evenings in a wine bar or cafe in Budapest came flooding back. 15 or so years later it does of course smell a little dated, a touch plastic, a bit bubbgle gum, but I love it all the same especially because of the associated memories. It's still youthful, fresh, light enough to wear daily, absolutely non offensive...drydown does have a plastic doll's head vibe, but I know many are into that! It's not as heavy on the citrus opening as I had hoped, but I am determined to make it sparkle and plan to layer my beloved Verveine Cedrat on top.

A fairly sweet and juicy - happy and I thought peachy (black currant and lemon?) opening followed by an inoffensive, clean, light and somewhat soapy floral heart. The sandalwood and amber woven across the florals anchor it down and add a touch of spice and earthiness. The heart and base notes evaporate far too fast and all is left is skin musk. I kept thinking Mexx Woman is like a cheap knock-off version of Benghal, the similarities in the drydown are unmistakabeable. Mexx is your typical easily forgettable and unimpressive clothes designer splash that often ends up like a laundry detergent mess on me (due to the cheap musk ingredient). This one didn't but wasn't far away. Maybe because it completely disappeared after 3 hours on me.

This is a very simple and delicate fragrance. The scent reminds me of fresh dried laundry and is quite nostalgic. I think it’s something that’s suitable for almost any woman for daily wear and even during some special occasions. Despite it not being anything unique is the scent still really pleasant and definitely worth it for it’s price. Though unlike the descriptions do I barely smell any citrus... but it’s clearly floral and quite peachy, amber-y as well. It’s kind of like tea, like Lipton. Real warm and juicy. It’s lovely! :-)

The opening of Mexx Woman is fresh but not refreshing. It's more sour and kind of a reminds me of a citrus toilet refreshener. I can't really detect any flowey notes in the middle but the base is about cedar. And that's when I realise that it's more for men than for women. Or unisex. But it's not feminine at all. The add says that it's 'cheeky' and 'fun' but to me the scent says 'cheep' and 'boring'.

No hurted ego in sight, gentleness has this mexx’s name. Clear, clever, warm, fresh, soft as a mother’s sweet skin, an elaborated mind in a simple, modest body. You’ll forget it on yourself (but honnestly, what can you both love AND notice on your own skin without killing humans all around?) but others will recognise you this tender way and will appreciate your right taste.

for me, this one is when I want to smell nice, but not look-at-me-everybody nice, and not too sweet or flowery, it is refreshing scent but I agree it doesnt last long (at least not on me). The other day a got a sample of Anna Sui Flight of Fancy and for me it is the same as Mexx Woman. Definitely for summer, cos in winter it makes me feel cold, screaming for hot lemon tea.

Absolutely fresh scent, with gorgeous citrus notes. I’ve bought it in second time in last week that happens with me very seldom. But unfortunately this aroma is unstable at all..

Too boring - fresh citrus smell with slight sweetness. Could be suitable for the office, as it's inoffensive. Average projection and longevity.

Calm and warm, pleasant but nothing too exciting about it. Wouldn't return to using it again. I would recommend the new Mexx Black instead.

clean girl aesthetic, smells like freshly washed linen after an hour. First hit is like lemon refreshner, but it vanishes pretty quickly

This is the perfect work fragrance. Reliable and sure every time. Neutral but still very unique. I love this fragrance!

Nice. just nice and simple. not too long lasting, and in my opinion its even could be a little too much lemony.
