MGM Grand For Her

Surprisingly light and sweet, I'd expected something richly spiced like Caesars Women. MGM Grand is very feminine and wearable. Sandalwood and patchouli with a hint of sweet fruit make a lovely modern perfume. Even though musk isn't in the pyramid there seems to be a bit in the fragrance, it has that fuzzy soft appeal. Inexpensive perfume that smells high end - MGM G should be better known. The lion figurine on top of the stopper is barely attached and care needs to taken to avoid breaking it off. Guess how I know ... :(

I bought a 2 pack of the .1 oz mini's on Amazon for $3.99, which comes in a nice box with the lovely lion topped bottle. I love the presentation; unique bottles always suck me in. Unfortunately the scent is pretty basic - a sugary floral that is so light it is barely detectable. But pretty nonetheless. I may reuse the bottle for travel, which can be done if you keep the little plug on top. The lion is actually metal, not plastic, which adds a bit of glamour. I wonder if these little bottles were put into hotel guest's rooms? Well, at 2 bucks a piece they are worth a shot if you're curious.

I have bought it for the bottle. I like how it looks. And looks nice. You should take care to the lion from on the top of the pyramid, not so well attached. But this is not a problem. Regarding the parfume, I have a surprise. For what I have paid I never thought that the smell it is so nice and it's persistent. It is sweet, like a spring tree full with flowers - a mixure of patchouli, sandalwood, citrus. Should not be so underestimated.
