Sparkling Blush

Wow what a sleeper. This is a very light, fresh, floral scent with a slight woody/powdery finish. The litchi is present at the top as your bright fruity note, but it's not cloying or overpowering. Underneath the brightness I get a nice soft floral, mainly frangipani and jasmine--I absolutely *hate* rose scents, and I barely notice it at all. Finally, the sandalwood gives this scent a soft woody, lightly powdery creaminess that's just divine (sandalwood is another smell that I'm picky about, and it's really light here). The vanilla is also present and mixes with the sandalwood so, so nicely. Projection on one spray is surprisingly lovely, as well. I prefer weaker projection/skin scents because I don't like sitting in a cloud of fragrance. I went to wave my wrist in front of my husband and he said he smelled me as soon as I walked in the room, which is impressive. The scent is elegant, elevated, and very feminine. It's the only other perfume that I've ever mentally categorized as a "champagne scent" alongside Versace Pour Femme. This is 100% something I'd wear to a fancy party.

My husband loves it. To me, it’s in line with something like VIP Private Show, but better quality. Gets sweeter on me as it dries down. I like it. It’s pleasant. Not ground breaking or anything, but nice. I go nose blind to it, but others can still smell it on me. My husband claims I fill the room. Edit: My husband has declared this as being in his Top 10. I have A LOT to choose from, but this makes the list. It really has become more lovely to me the longer I’ve owned it. I ended up buying a bigger bottle because he likes it so much. I feel it is the perfect 80°+ perfume. It works well in heat and humidity. A very good summer tropical vanilla. Get it while you can because I’m pretty sure it has been discontinued.

I wasn't expecting much from this line. I thought this and sexy ruby would be typical scents that seem to work for everyone else but me. I was so wrong! These two were made for me! The notes are very correct and litchi does wonders for a floral fragrance to sweeten it up. Frangipani usually doesn't work for me but this is so well executed that everything just flows so well together. It's not faint or barely there, it's not boring or run of the mill. This is magnetizing I can't stop smelling this, it's so perfect! Mmmm just the perfect blend of floral fruity dressing up a sweet seductive rose 🌹. This and sexy ruby are total winners 🏆!

This needs hot weather to smell and perform at its best. I layer with pink sugar body oil and it’s a divine mix. I love how good girl smells but it doesn’t work with my chemistry and this is the perfect replacement for good girl. Very similar scents only this one works well with my chemistry and doesn’t have those sharp synthetic notes that good girl has. This is sweet on me almost gourmand with my chemistry. I’ve noticed that most popular fragrances turn so rubbery or plasticky on me- florals turn sweet and gourmand on me. This is one of those florals that’s sweet and candy like on me. I love it!

Blind bought this because it was on sale. I'm not the biggest fan of floral fragrances, but this one really works for me. It's got a lot of fruit in it and something a little spicy. I really enjoy this fragrance, but the performance is not that great. It's kind of strong at first, burns hot and bright, but fades quickly and is gone by 2-3 hours. Lovely fragrance though and is very office/work friendly. I would repurchase this, but only if it was on sale or through a discounter.

Very sharp clean floral. Has a zesty rose and crisp fragrant floral scent. This is not a cheap buy and it commands the price as it is a lasting fragrance. You can tell this is a high end and well blended fragrance. I wore on wrists and neck and one or two sweeps across my clothing and had several people compliment the scent and ask what I was wearing while walking by at work. Holds close to the body as well so you can smell it all day.

I received this as a Christmas gift. I wasn't so sure about it because I'm an original Michael Kors girl. When I spray this on I always forget about it UNTIL someone says You smell good or I like your perfume what is it and my mind goes blank for a second. It smells like pink florals with a touch of sparkles lol. It's a mature scent but classy at any age.

Oooh, I really like this! I've been on the hunt for some summery fragrances and anything with sweet tropical plumeria (frangipani) works for me. Sparkling Blush opens with a little zesty bergamot and soft pear. The heart is all plumeria and the dry down is warm and woody with vanilla and sandalwood. So pretty!

I ordered a sample of this and love it. I never really cared for Michael Kors perfume on me cause it was too strong but the Sparkling Blush is perfect on me. It’s not strong, it’s very light to moderate and love the smell. I finally have a Michael Kors perfume I actually like!

I bought this today and I really like it. Its a very soft feminine floral fragrance. Would suit ladies 30+ and a very good everyday work summer fragrance. Very happy with the purchase.

Sweet, soft and Woody. It's delicious and elegante, it just doesn't last at all. I've just ordered a bottle cause I feel nostalgic and I rhink it's descontinued, isn't ir?

A sweet litchi scent with nice floral hints--like a vast, expansive garden filled with fruits and flowers, I honestly can't get enough of her.

Something about this smells like CHGG! Perhaps it’s the floral notes. Love this scent.

I received a sample of this yesterday, and after coming on to read the notes about it, was excited to give it a try today! I really like this! It's lightly fruity, and lightly floral and lightly sweet (the sweetness is coming from the fruits). It lasts about 2-3 hours, so it's ideal if you want to wear perfume, but don't want an all-day commitment to it. I definitely smell the frangipani most prominently, although it's still soft and not overwhelming. Next, the litchi and vanilla. I get magnolia more prominently over the other flowers, which makes it a nice change to my other fragrances (which are generally jasmine- or orange blossom- or lotv-heavy). In the drydown, I get amber (and vanilla) + sandalwood most strongly, although the vetiver is deep in the background, grounding it. Overall, I really like this scent! I find it light, inoffensive, and very pleasant. Just enough sweetness to satisfy me, and different enough florals to interest me. I will keep an eye out for it, and would purchase it if I saw it on a good sale.

Forgive me if this is vague... This perfume smells like the mall, and cumin, to me. I recieved this as a gift when I was 13, so it of course has some lovely nostalgia attached to it! I recently revisited it, and was surprised to find that it had a straight cumin smell on my skin; I'm talking taco seasoning. It did eventually evolve into a more pleasant sweet pink pepper scent. I think this perfume would be better suited to be sprayed on my clothes than my skin, because of what it does with my chemistry. I did not get to enjoy the juicy lychee or pear notes, unfortunately. Maybe my bottle is too old. Still, a good and non-offensive fragrance; classy and fun, very feminine. (-:

This is a STRONG frangipani on my skin and I've come to the conclusion that I just don't care for frangipani in perfume. It comes across as too indolic for me, although in Sparkling Blush it stays just to the side of indolic without crossing into full gag-inducing territory. I do think if the frangipani were traded with gardenia this would've been an easy love as gardenia is one white floral I adore (if it's not overpowered by jasmine and/or tuberose). This is not bad by any means (it actually smells creamy and tropical in the dry down), but honestly, I'd like this more in a room spray or candle form rather than perfume.

I had never heard of this before then I saw it at ulta and sprayed it and instantly loved it. I then forgot about it for a while then and months later smelled it again. I love a good fresh vanilla and this is exactly that. I just found a 1oz bottle for $35 online so I bought it! Edit 1 year later: I find this pretty boring and while I still think it's very pretty I never reach for it. If you want a safe blind buy/swap or are looking for a perfect perfume for a teenager, this one would be perfect! It is extremely crowd pleasing. I also feel like my nose has been rejecting litchi recently so that might be part of it.

Wearing now on my way to a wedding. It starts out at first blast slightly fruity and sparkling as the name suggests with some sweet spices almost cinnamon like. Then about 20 mins in I'm getting the florals really heavily. Still smooth with that vanilla and pretty strong. Projection is big. My boyfriend smelled it on a strip and he said "church lady" but I mean he says that about anything even remotely floral. I don't personally think church lady..it's very sweet and almost powdery. I also get the Sandalwood. It's really pretty. Edit: after about 2 hours it was gone. Just get Good Girl instead.

This is very fruity and floral, not like a white floral but like a sweet, juicy floral. Very sweet, very traditionally feminine. It has a hint of pepper, definitely a fragrant pepper and not a black pepper, but I honestly think it could do with more, as it wears off quick and there isn’t much else to elevate this beyond every other sweet fruity floral that’s out there. It’s nice enough, quite a tropical frangipani scent for the most part after the initial peppery fruit wears off. Edit: the drydown on this is where it’s at. Such a lovely fragrance.

Such a soft, well blended, beautiful cheerful floral with just enough fruity notes. Very pretty with that young-vibe sparkle. After an initial fruity burst, it settles into vanilla sprinkled florals on a sunny tropic island. It's light, airy, fluffy, and sparkly. Very warm and happy. Vanilla mixed with the creamy amber and sandalwood to me create a very beautiful drydown. It's a young, feminine, carefree, summertime scent. Projection and longevity are incredible! I feel like this scent is not getting the credit it deserves.

Lovely fragrance! Sweet,fresh,very feminine and girly and really sparkling! A great scent for spring. I fell in love with it the first time i tested it. It is very uplifting. It is in the same category as Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming and La vie est Belle en Rose, so if you like this kind of scent, you will like Sparkling Blush. Try it if you want a young and joyful floral. Or if you simply want to smell like a carefree princess. Sillage and longevity are average. Final note:9/10

For some reason, to me it smells as if it had a plastic note. I think otherwise it would smell good, like your typical girly and very safe crowd pleaser for summer. Such a shame I get this weird plasticky synthetic note that just ruins it, and it's not just my skin, I can smell it from the bottle. Like one of those dolls that had scented heads but you could still smell the plastic. Still worth trying it if you like girly and floral perfumes, maybe I just got a bad bottle!

sparkling blush micheal kors summer test on a card first impressions: fruity, woody, powdery, floral as time goes on i would put powdered floral with woods and sparky light fruits as back up. seems quite easy to wear, in the same vein as ralph woman sort of - with the fruits and woods, possibly some floral from Coach, its not dry powdery on the card at least. thanks :)

A pretty, light scent. I like it, but the performance is the worst of any MK perfume, which is disappointing. Considering there is amber and vetiver in the base notes, I'd expect more from longevity. While it lasts, this is really nice and I can't imagine it being disagreeable to anyone's nose. The packaging is simple and pretty. I don't think the name is fitting.

like anniedelaney wrote, it's a nice pink and white floral at the beginning and then fades into a slightly buttery vanilla the top fruity notes which I loved stayed for less than an hour before merging into a common light floral a good blind buy if you like florals but if you're looking for something new, definitely go for something else

I received the tester vial in the mail as well. This is a very sweet & girly fragrance,it is also powdery. But the only con was that if you smell this fragrance for too long, it ends up irritating my nose & throat, so I wouldn’t wear this out in public but only in my house. Once the perfume drys down, the amber & vanilla are noticeable.

Very light, soft, pretty floral scent. Extremely feminine, leaning towards a happy, friendly woman rather than flirty or sexy. A perfect spring/summer daytime scent that is safe for work. This embodies the color of light pink.

Crossing my fingers that the jasmine in this doesn't muck things up by smelling like poop or bad breath and hopeful that the lily will behave itself and not smell like a funeral home.

I don't get the vanilla at all. On me, it's vetiver, litchi, pink pepper, floral. It's very nice, but I don't love it. Edit: The vanilla comes in later, and it's beautiful !

I expected a fresher and cleaner scent. I think it's more a party fragrance, sweet but not too much and soft. I like It😊

It reminds me of something from 20 years ago-maybe an old Victoria’s Secret fragrance? I think maybe the original Noir scent, which used to be my fav until they discontinued it. This isn’t exactly like the Noir I remember. Noir was muskier, and softer on the fruits. This is cleaner, fruitier, sharper and more synthetic feeling than Noir, but the dry down gets very close, more close than anything I’ve come across. I’m not thrilled with this fragrance, it isn’t exactly what I’d like from a scent like this. I know it’s a mass-appealing scent however that many women would happily wear. I prefer a little more quirk/niche/daring notes/statement making scents. I’m happy to have sampled it-I couldn’t remember what VS Noir smelled like anymore and this was a trip down memory lane.

So many notes I love here but when it all comes together its all just disappointing. Just a soapy mess. Lasting power is below poor. The pink pepper is prominent, then dries down to like something that wanted to be powdery but got soapy instead.

I quite like this! Starts out with very fresh and bright litchi and rose before the vanilla comes out, leaving a lovely comforting fruity floral.

Smells good. Just extremely light, I can barely smell it. I wanted to love it because my husband bought it for me.

An all about nothing fragrance. Weak performance and screechy

had a nice balance of fresh and floral notes, overall smelled somewhat mature. despite the many scent notes, this didn’t ring as unique for me and left me wanting more complexity. overall, light and sweet with powder notes. little reach and doesn’t smell like much on me once dry.

starts with litchi, vanilla and frangipani. there is definitely a 'sparkling' element here. it kind if smells like a tropical candle mixed with a modern, mildly chemical scent. after awhile on the skin it's mostly a fruity vanilla with a hint of citrus.

Whatever everyone is using to make jasmine these days I really don't like. This one does nothing for me. It's just a light, very indolic Jasmine that doesnt even last an hr.

There is the note I detest, the same as in Sun Shake by Jill Sander or Laguna by Salvador Dali - coconut and vanilla wafers transforming into melting plastic.

This might be a fragrance that needs the heat and moisture for you to experience the beauty i think. It confused me at first but i am starting to understand it now, i hope. When i first tried Sparkling blush (on my wrists and behind my ear), i loved the smell (floral, sweet, vanilla) from the first spray, but i was very quickly surprised when i realised that it did not last long at all. It was like 30 minutes later i could not smell it. I found it odd because although i think my body gobbles up fragrances, i thought this was another level. This was coming into spring and at this point i had to come to the decision that i could waste money on it because it is expensive for not having lasting power. Because i had a tester and did not want to give up on this fragrance, i sprayed it in the fold of my arm (behind the elbow), before bed and my goodness!!!! When i woke up, what i could smell was almost hypnotising. The only way i can describe it is like the feeling of when you eat a sherbet sweet and get to the sherbet part. Amazing. I had a full nights sleep and it was like the smell was pulsating out of my arm when i woke up,crazy projection! and i did not want to wash it off. It might have been the warmth from under the duvet... The bottle is also prettier than i thought (and i thought it was pretty). It looks like an emerald shaped pink diamond with the lovely pink liquid. Summer will be the tester and if it sparkles then, it is definitely in my top faves! Otherwise, it might be a bed time fragrance.

I love a good floral perfume, but honestly I think niche is where it's at 9 times put of 10, when it comes to finding something that actually smells like flowers, rather than something that is closer to air freshener--on the spectrum of totally artificial to natural smelling. I am not saying this smells like Glade though. I kind of like the initial fruity notes, and they don't go away, except for the bergamot that kept it from being too sweet initially. Now it smellls peary, and like a generic jasmine floral that they drop in almost every new pink bottled release for the last 20 years.

Tried this new offering today and I must say I really love it!It is a very softly sweet fruity fragrance,airy and slightly powdery,it is not groundbreaking but it is really lovely,medium sillage and great longevity plus the bottle looks so sleek and classy and it reflects the juice inside it.I did not think I could love this much but I am pleasantly surprised,however this is more of a spring summer fragrance even though it is quite rich and sweet.

I’m surprised this one gets such little recognition. This was love at first sniff for me. It’s fruity, floral, woody & sweet. Nothing overpowers. Blended to perfection. Is this scent for those who want to make a statement? Of course not. This gorgeous fragrance is for the average woman who wants to smell good for herself & possibly close encounters. Crowd pleasing, truly inoffensive & will probably get you a handful of compliments.

Had received a tester vial in the mail to try. The scent is a very powdery floral on me. Nice, but there's a note in it that really started to flair up my allergies, so I checked over here for reference. I think it might be the pink pepper or get over that is causing my allergic reaction. Such a shame because the dry down smells so pretty, not to mention the gorgeous bottle.

I had a sample of this, so just first impression i can describe, i wore it few times. Nice but after 3 h i didnt feel like i am still wearing a scent. Most of all i detected rose, litchi and magnolia. Didn't found pear or vanilla sweetness for this perfume. A bottle looks nice on photos. But after a time i won't remember it.

one of my all time favorites and deserves so much more recognition. this was the only perfume i used for hot summer days for the last 2 years. im 90% done with my 50ml bottle and i regret not buying a 100ml one since its discontinued and almost impossible to find. i wish michael kors would bring this one back.
