He probado muchos Dupes de erba pura, también erba gold, accento, alharamain gold edition, bharafa king, el guisada, el lataffa abiyedh y tangerine dreams. Si bien todos tienen ese ADN frutal y dulce me parece que cada uno tiene lo suyo y éste se convirtió en mi favorito, por qué? Dirán ustedes bueno aquí va mi argumento Bueno, primero hay que empezar diciendo que todos sabemos el boom que generó el ADN de Erba Pura de Xerjoff, un perfume del que a las mujeres les encanta el olor y que también muchos hombres disfrutan. Es un aroma muy adictivo que apareció justo cuando empezó el boom de la perfumería árabe. En ese momento mucha gente empezó a descubrir perfumes con olores nuevos a los que no estaban acostumbrados, y Erba Pura fue uno de los más llamativos: un cóctel frutal dulce, adictivo y bastante rico. A partir de ahí empezó una especie de competencia. Marcas árabes, de diseñador e incluso algunas de nicho comenzaron a sacar sus propias interpretaciones de algo que ya sabían que funcionaba. Para la gente que ya estaba metida en la perfumería nicho y tenía colecciones grandes quizá no fue algo tan sorprendente, porque ya conocían ese tipo de aromas. Pero para la mayoría de las personas, que tal vez solo tenían uno o dos perfumes —lo típico, un Acqua di Gio, un Bleu de Chanel, un J’adore de Dior o algún Carolina Herrera— fue algo totalmente nuevo. Tanto hombres como mujeres querían tener ese tipo de aroma. Con el tiempo las marcas se pelearon por lanzar su propia versión de este ADN. Y hoy, en 2026, siento que hay tantas buenas opciones en el mercado que ya no vale demasiado la pena comprar Erba Pura por el precio que tiene. No porque sea malo, sino porque hay perfumes que logran algo muy parecido, incluso mejor, por mucho menos dinero. En mi caso he probado muchos “dupes” o interpretaciones del Erba Pura, además del perfume original, y si tuviera que quedarme con uno sería este. Todos sabemos que Erba Pura puede sentirse bastante sintético. Y sí, ya sé que todos los perfumes son sintéticos de alguna forma porque están compuestos de moléculas y químicos, pero hay algunos que transmiten más esa sensación que otros. Incluso dentro de la perfumería nicho hay fragancias que pueden oler muy sintéticas, casi como perfumes de catálogo o de diseñador. Lo que me gusta de este perfume es que toma esa idea del Erba Pura pero la suaviza. Se siente como si empezaras casi directamente en el secado del Erba Pura, pero con un pequeño giro: es un poco menos sintético y tiene un toque ligeramente más fresco, casi playero. Eso hace que la dulzura no sea tan pesada ni tan empalagosa como a veces puede ser el original, que para algunas personas incluso puede llegar a provocar dolor de cabeza. Aquí esa parte está mucho más equilibrada. La fragancia se siente más pegada a la piel, más agradable, más fácil de llevar. Dura bastante y tiene buena proyección también. Quizá no proyecta tanto como el Erba Pura original o como algunos de sus clones más potentes como Bharara King o los de Al Haramain, pero para mí eso incluso es algo positivo. A veces es mejor un perfume que sea un poco más personal, que se sienta sin necesidad de invadir todo el espacio. No siempre quieres algo que entre a la habitación gritando “mírenme, aquí estoy”. Y eso es algo que este perfume hace muy bien. La verdad es que me encanta. Tampoco tiene un precio exagerado, así que realmente sí me lo compraría. De hecho, si tuviera que elegir solo uno entre todos los que he probado, incluso incluyendo el original, probablemente me quedaría con este. Después de este, el que más me gusta es Tangerine Dreams, que también me parece muy bueno. Solo que en ese caso siento que a veces aparece un pequeño toque de caramelo que lo vuelve un poco más cálido. Es interesante, pero lo veo más para invierno. Este en cambio lo siento más versátil, más fácil de usar durante gran parte del año. Quizá no para uso diario absoluto, pero sí para muchas más ocasiones. Espero que les sirva esta opinión. Esta fue mi reseña de este gran perfume de Michael Malul. Y si todavía no han probado Ocean Noir, también háganlo, porque es un perfumazo.

I bought this fragrance as part of a buy 1 get 1 half off deal at the mall. Upon first application it does come across heavy & muddled. I do get the hairspray comparison others have mentioned. I was planning on returning it because it was a bit feminine smelling to me. Despite that I have it a few more wearings & now I absolutely love this stuff! The heavy citrus/fruity/vanilla is strong at first but once it settles down after about 10minutes it’s amazing! As it dries down, all those notes settle into a soft, smooth combination that makes you feel like you’re on vacation. To me this is your quintessential blue jeans/white shirt/casual dress laid back fragrance. I don’t see anyone not liking this once they get a whiff in the air. I get about 5-7hrs longevity with moderate projection and a light sillage. Just goes to show the importance of giving a fragrance a few wearings before completely ruling it out. This one is a keeper. 8/10

I am new to this brand (38F) and after blind-buying and loving Atara, I ordered the sample set. It has both male-leaning and female-marketed scents. While this is sold as a male fragrance, it is absolutely unisex and easy to wear as a woman. I will rock a super masculine scent, but this isn't that. I love heavy, gourmand, spicy, cool-weather fragrances and have a harder time finding less in-your-face, office appropriate, everyday, warm-weather options. I found this to be semi-sweet from fruit (not floral), but grounded nicely with the musk. All day, I kept thinking, "Wow, I think I love this!" Several people in my office commented how they really liked it, and I ordered a full bottle as it had moderate projection, and on my clothes, it lasted all day. I found it to be different from any of the other 50+ bottles I have and look forward to wearing it this spring and summer.

I first got this fragrance when I was 16. At that moment, I was aware that it smelled good, but I was not aware of it's true potential until my lady told me how good it smelled. It was her favorite scent, but it still took months for me to truly appreciate it. Months to a year later, I'm in college and I receive compliments on it from EVERYONE. Friends, male and female, strangers, etc. A year removed from then; I can now finally understand and truly appreciate the smooth cleanliness in this fragrance. Michael Malul is an underrated house in general, and even though this is their most popular fragrance, I love it because it is still extremely underrated and unknown. The performance is good enough, not nuclear but not subtle. the scent profile is bright and clean while still being smooth. The atomizer is amazing and was my first pressurized atomizer.

Omg ...my fiance owns this fragrance...& I just wanna eat him alive, snuggles his worn shirts & sniff the air as he walks around the house. Idk something about this fragrance is so comforting like a hug, with the PERFECT amount of sweetness, & warmth, etc. The sillage is phenomenal, right when he walks by...nothing...1 min later BOOM, there it is. This scent is addicting, sexy, & comforting. Signature scent worthy, great price/quality/quantity ratio. Long lasting. This scent reminds me of a mix between Xerjoff- Erba Gold & Sexy mess. The Erba good provides the warm fruits and Sexy mess provides the warm hug type feeling. This is prob my favorite male perfume atm & I'm also 100% buying myself a bottle to wear, b/c this is 100% unisex imo. Lovely lovely simple beautiful scent, please put your noses on this frag.

Wow, this fragrance is STRONG. Don't get me wrong, the fragrance is rich and syrupy, and smells almost delicious. The vanilla comes out swinging, and leaves the citrus in the back. The scent is thick and seems to have its weight in the air. If you're all about filling the room with your scent, this is for you. The opening can be overbearing with its sweetness. I will say for a fragrance that says "for men" it leads rather feminine, which might lead you astray if you blind buy this. Honestly, the density of the vanilla is a setback for my personal preference, but it is none the less, a very high quality cologne. Performance is outstanding though. In terms of longevity, it lasts well into 7 or 8 hours. The projection might be the best out of my collection. Longevity: 8/10 - Projection: 10/10 - Overall: 8/10

I got the travel size for my boyfriend. He says its his favorite :), and its mine too! I bought him the Vanilla Noir lotion by Bath and Body Works to go with it, and it compliments it well. For the fragrance itself, it's a great year-round scent and very comforting. You can't really go wrong with anything that has vanilla in it, and that is definitely the main note that I get. I do get a woody accord as well though. Overall, I would describe it as being very smooth...if that makes sense? It is masculine, but I do see this working as a unisex scent as well. I told my boyfriend that if he finishes the travel size I will buy him the full size, and he sounded pretty happy about that. I highly recommend if you're a girlfriend who loves vanilla or a guy who likes comforting scents.

Somebody said clean and creamy and I think that's a perfect description. Really it mostly feels like a good clean scent but then you keep getting whiffs of what I'm assuming is vanilla but also a fruit but not just citrus probably the melon. It's just feels like a wonderful grown up cleanish scent. I swear I could smell the tiniest hint of cumin when I put my nose up to it. The Musk is super nice in this. The longer I sit with it the more it opens up, just beautiful! Update: this has one of the best dry downs I've ever smelled, even the next morning my clothes smelled fantastic. Out of my collection of around 200 fragrances this has shot up to be my favorite Spring/Summer scent. You literally can't get much better

We carry this line at my work.. now going through the reviews I see lots of negativity but this fragrance is nothing but instant love for its difference in smell. Even though its apparently suppose to be an imitation..to the regular shopper who doesn’t know the world of niche..this breaks the norm people get drawn to the peculiar fruity sweet vanilla aroma you don’t usually get in a men’s fragrance. Woman go gaga for it probably because it smells kinda feminine but it’s a yummy smell that also has freshness, Overall a great scent for the daring man who likes to smell a little sweeter and break typical manly man smell; and this stuff does last and it will draw compliments.

(Review for men who are looking to buy) This scent seems to work best on men who take humbleness as a personality trait rather than a virtue otherwise it smells mediocre. For men who are really humble it exemplifies the independence and calm collected aura they give off like a nice cool rag after a hot days work by yourself. For other men, it may seem like a sweet or gentle scent perhaps even feminine but overall mediocre not something that is harnessed to its full potential. It still smells great either way but exemplifies really contrasting parts of peoples character making it a really niche scent.

Smells entirely DIVINE! Definitely a warm weather/outdoor sort of scent, but realistically can work for any occasion. Comes off almost playful and jovial with its scent profile. Performance is quite good too, getting 6+ hours from 4-6 sprays. The melon note lasts throughout and is SO DAMN JUICY. Makes me sigh in bliss when it hits my nose throughout the day. Once the vanilla starts hitting, this fragrance takes you to the moon. I ordered the Parfum version to see how it compares to this. 5/5 fragrance; performance is great, smell is incredible, price is good, versatility is high. You won't regret it.

Fresh and sweet, it's a fresher take on Erba Pura. More like a summer version. Smells amazing, quality not on par with EP, this is more synthetic, but still not the worst. Love to wear it every now and then in summer. I like the Citizen Jack Parfum more. If EP Clone is what you are after this is not it, CJP is def more closer and more refined than this one. However, if you're looking for a great sweet-summer scent which pulls you lot of compliments, this is it. More of a young and playful rather than mature and classy scent. Smells Great anyways! Would definitely buy again.

This smell makes me really nostalgic and sort of sad, but in a good way because it takes me back to when I was a kid around 2011 to 2015. Just imagine having a full day of fun while being on vacation and going to your hotel at the end of the day. You come back to the expensive hotel room that your family rented and the clean air from the room hits you. To me this smells like the most luxurious, cleanest, and highest quality hotel room. I also do not get the pineapple note, everyone’s nose is different of course.

smelled this off a test strip at a perfume outlet today and need a bottle asap. juicy pineapple and melon opening that dries down more to the amber and vanilla notes with the melon still there. it’s sort of in the xerjoff erba pura range where it’s so sweet that a very masculine man may not like it but i loved it. truly a great find as i’ve never heard of michael malul or the citizen jack line until today. 9/10 based on the test strip, didn’t get it on skin though.

The bergamot and melon aroma is strong upon opening. A mellow tropical swirl with a layer of gourmand vanilla bursting through more and more throughout its stages. Not too strong and not too light. Just right! Perfect for dates. Male leaning fragrance. Interesting vibes I get from this. Projection is moderate to strong for about 3-4 hours then drops to a skin scent but lasts even after I shower. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this fragrance.

Incredible, signature-worthy, and versatile. Yes, this fragrance opens a bit more on the feminine side but grows more and more masculine as it dries. While I would not wear this in high heat, there’s not many everyday sweet scents with vanilla that you can wear with this kind of versatility. Office, night out, date, daytime baby showers, etc. put it on and forget about it. Projection is moderate, but lasts a solid 5-6 hours on skin.

I first smelled this fragrance and was absolutely hooked. It has a nice tropical and fresh smell which dries down into a great vanilla and soap scent. My only issue is that I've never gotten a single complement with it due to it's poor projection/sillage. Try it on your own skin at a fragrance outlet and if it vibes with you, please get it, it's really is an amazing fragrance which is really uplifting every time you smell it.

As a guy who gravitates towards sweet frags, this is a true joy. The melon upon opening is perfectly done and smells photo-realistic. I don’t smell pineapple, but the rest of the listed notes are bang-on. The blending is masterful and definitely feels a step up over most designers. Projection is a little on the weak side, but that does make it an ideal date night scent. Longevity is solid, I typically get about 8+ hours.

This scent has gotten a ton of hate that had me nervous when I first got it, but I love it. Fresh, sweet melon, amber, and musk with vanilla. This works wonders on my skin. I can get the base notes to last over 8 hours, and get it to push off my skin for 4-5 of those. I do wish this was a bit cheaper (maybe in the $55-60 range) but still love what I got for the $80 I payed. Personally, couldn't recommend this more.
