Citizen Jack Open Road

This is so powdery & spicy at the same time. I voted it as an all year round scent in the day time because I truly think it can fit all the seasons well. Winter perhaps being the least strong of the 4. I own Absolute, Ocean Noir, Mohave, and Open Road by MML and truly think Open Road is the most wearable for all occasions of the 4. Whereas the other 3 are occasion type scents. I am a female so I wonder if my draw to it is that it’s on the more feminine side of the 4 I own, so it’s a unique profile compared to my collection.

This is a great smelling fragrance - clean and and a little sweet. I get a powdery note which I don’t see listed anywhere, but it’s definitely there. I would think this can be worn spring or summer, primarily day time use. It’s a great fragrance.

This one is nostalgic for me. Reminds me of driving through the fields of freshly cut Hay with the when I was working at a Ranch. Longevity is great. I get lots of compliments.

Love it, but for me it’s just luna rossa sport but less longevity (I have both)

It opens up with vanilla, citrus and alot of ginger and then mellows down within 10 to 15 minutes showing more of the rich vanilla/tonka with the ginger and citrus notes growing more and more distant. It sadly doesnt have great performance and has more of an intimate sillage on my skin. (Do not blindly buy luna rossa sport like me thinking that will be an alternative with greater wear time and stronger sillage. Luna rossa sport has much more of a floral/grassy scent due to the in my opinion excessive amount of lavender and is missing the citrus notes.)

Quite similar to absolute... but more bathroomy? Its good, clean, fresh, and masculine leaning. But absolute is a better version imo. I love fresh citrusy vanillas, so I do like it. very signature scentable, if you do not mind having to spray it a second time during the day. Most cats would love it, and its not extremely generic. Young, but not teen-like as JPGs or Valentinos. Its for people who care more about how then smell than what the trendiest perfume from Sephora is.

I feel like this was supposed to be a winter fragrance but its not. its a spring fall thing. not summer. not winter. it can be though. Its too fresh for winter and too sweet for summer. Its very nice though. Very versatile. Signature scent worthy but the projection is lacking. Its sorta unique and I recomend trying it but it is very minimalistic and resolutely kinda mid.

Like others stated smells identical to Prada Luna Rossa Sport.. I like that scent so therefore I like this.. I mean I like all of Michael Maluls scents I know a lot of them are dupes but they’re all really well done dupes.

Prada luna rossa sport clone, just lasts a little less on my skin. I have tried both and prada is superior.

Just like the design of the box that it comes in, it reminds me of the arid, American desert, like a long road in middle nowhere southwest America. Smell’s powdery, spicy and dry, I don’t really get much sweetness at all. Not my favorite fragrance but my gf likes it when I wear it so no complaints.

Citizen Jack Open Road is an amalgam of many other vanilla dominant amber spicy citrus men's fragrances. It's a bit Le Male, a bit Luna Rossa Sport, a bit Code, a bit Pi - in other words: been there done that. It's the closest to English Laundry Signature, because it's kind of linear, one dimensional and the ingredients are cheap and don't match the MSRP. In other words, it's completely redundant and derivative. The bottle is nice though.

Very close to Signature by English Laundry which is also pretty much a dupe of JPG Le Male EDT. They’re all great and slightly different in their own ways. Open Road is the sweeter of the 3 and also adds a little bit of a cherry/almond accord to my nose. Signature is the stronger of the 3 and Le Male is the weakest although it is the og of this dna and very very good to this day. Open Road is pretty good on strength and lasting power but not beast mode. If you are really wanting power go with Signature by English Laundry. Overall I really like it and it’s definitely worth a buy. If you’re considering this one definitely check out Citizen Jack Absolute as well.

I really like this juice, I bought a Michael Malul sampler with 26 frags and so far it is my favorite from the house. It is more of an intimate fragrance. It would work great for date nights, it's very smooth and rich, and just smells like someone whose got their $hit together. I'm still testing to determine performance and will update this with my final verdict.

My husband loves Joop Homme. He's been wearing it on weekends since we met in the mid-90s. But he wanted to get more colonges but didn't know what to get. I looked up some of the notes to Joop and blind bought Citizen Jack and CJ Open Road because they have some similar notes. It's a nice spicey oriental vanilla which we both like. Thumbs up.

Very fresh, clean and leans slightly masculine. Lasts 8 hours with a couple of sprays. The ginger seems to last 8 hours or more so I often catch a wiff of myself throughout the day. If you enjoy clean scents i give it a strong recommendation. Pair this with Citizen Jack Mohave, I know I do.

Unique vanilla sweet, masc leaning versatile and elegant notes. Very intresting since masc vanilla scents are hard to come by. Average sillage and longevity. Possible year round as well. Would.

If you like Prada Sport then you will like this one. Nice smooth sweet spicy. Good longevity. This would be a nice date fragrance.

smells like a hotel bar of soap in the best way possible. not loud just clean, extremly good fragrance

On the dry-down this is a dead ringer for Armani Code Parfum
