Citizen Jack Parfum

Michael Malul is 2/2 for me right now and I can’t wait to try the rest of their fragrances. I usually buy their travel sizes to test but I need their sample pack. Citizen Jack is a joyously deceptive fragrance. Opens with a playful rich and delicious melon and a violet note that I detected without even reading the notes. After 10 minutes it dries down to something more sophisticated and warm, a subtle vetiver on top a warm vanilla with a hint of musk and the melon becomes more sweet and less fresh. To me this definitely has some of the unique fruitiness of ocean noir which is my favorite from the line thus far, but this one has potential to become my favorite. It’s truly versatile and I believe could be worn year round day and night. 8.5/10 for now but I’ll do my usual update review in a week or two. Well done Mr. Gavarry

Fresh, round, clean, Citizen Jack Parfum is one of my favorite from Michael Malul. Personally, I have smelled CJ and Erba Pura side by side and they have the same DNA with CJ being a more playful and fresher cousin. Odds are that if you like EP, you would also enjoy CJ. I can see this being a signature scent, as it can worn in any season, time, inside, outside, etc. It's a fun fresh melon scent, giving a floral-aquatic undertone with the water lily and and sage. Almost like walking through a tropical forest, but the forest only has melons. As someone else has stated, the projection does not last long and dries down to a skin scent around the 2-3 hour mark, but stays as a skin scent for 6-8hrs. Despite so, I would highly recommend for anyone to try

This is a beautiful melon, vanilla citrus and sandalwood freshie. The musk is not off putting , the sage is not too green. It’s also not overly woody. You do get the fruity tropical vibe, but it doesn’t sour like Erba. Closer to Kirke or Confidential Royal Gold, without the smack of passion fruit , but melon citrus instead. I don’t particularly like violet, and thankfully I don’t get a lot of it in this. It’s masculine leaning as described but I wear it as a woman beautifully. Lasts longer on me than hubby, but I layer it with a melon oil to boost that profile. Highly recommend.

Wonderful fragrance. Easy to wear and smells great - sweet, fresh and probably a compliment getter (I just got it so I am not sure yet). Really no complaints other than it’s not going to be the most unique fragrance in your collection, but I bet you reach for it more than most. I think it’s a safe blind and can be found at a discount with many sellers on Whatnot. I only paid about $40 for a bottle - easily on of my best purchases at that price range.

Absolutely in love with this scent. I was looking for a signature wedding scent, but I didn't know what I wanted. After smelling over 50 scents at the my local small business, this is the one that I kept coming back to. The top fruits come off more luxurious and richer than expected, and then it dries down into that warm and heavy base note. I'm not going to wear it all the time, but it will be for those special occasions with the wife.

I absolutely love this. I was looking for something with lots of fruits like Xerjoff's Erba Pura but something that was not as expensive, and this was recommended to me. It's actually much better than EP--it's much smoother and more sophisticated, thanks especially to the nice sandalwood blended in so expertly. You can expect a lot of compliments with this--it's a real crowd pleaser.

More refined version of Citizen Jack Absolute, without the citrus. This is more soft, stubtle and sweet, more unisex version of CJA. I'd say this is closer to Erba Pura than the CJA if that's what your after. However, love this scent for the winter, smells heavenly!!!

I love this scent! The opening of melon and beremont then vanilla mid-notes with a creamy sandalwood dry down is very nice! Great office scent! Layer it with CJ Absolu for great date night scent !

Smells fruity shower gel like with a base of vanilla lotion. Last 6-7 hours with 1-2 hours of projection. Unisex for sure. 9.5/10.

I have over 60 fragrances and this is hands down my wife's favorite. Do what you will with that information 😁

What the guy below me (satmanski) said lol This is kinda much adieu about nothing. Not bad by any stretch, but wowzers was I expecting more lol. For the money, I would just get Hawas for this safe, crowdpleasing type of DNA. Honestly, as someone with a large collection, which already includes this kind of crowdpleasing type of scent, if I had it to do again, I wouldnt spend much more than about $80 - $85 for this. (If I even decided to buy it, knowing what I know now). 6/10 (again, this is from the perspective of someone with ~150 bottles. I could see a novice or a budget spender being pretty impressed with this however)

It's basically Citizen jack absolute, with no difference (only the name). I have both and they smell the exact same. Melony, slightly sweet, modern ,fresh and unique. Same sillage and longitivity. The combination of this with a raspberry scent (ominous mist by demeter) is phenomenal, why I own both bottles despite the lack of differences.

Okay in mild temps but the dry down in the almost freezing temperatures was amazing.

Sweet, fresh, and barely detectable.

My favorite Michael Malul, great smelling creamy, clean, melon scent. The only issue I have with all the fragrances from this house is they're skin scents with in a hour or two and gone by the third. Not worth the price given the very weak performance.

Michael Malul must have an incredible swarm of bots to get this to a 4.6 rating lol. Its OK but its not one of the best scents ever created. Very linear and pretty basic. Its nice but not that nice.
