Jet Black

This fragrance.....wow. This is one of the most amazing, unique, and well-blended fragrances I've ever smelled and a true work of perfumery. Thanks to a woman who owns a perfume shop that I visited here in an Austin mall. She told me herself that this is one of the best fragrances she's smelled in the past 5 years. It's so hard these days to come across a fragrance that doesn't smell strikingly similar to various others that you've smelled before... There are a lot of fragrances out there with a DNA of certain notes that are a real chore to detect. As if something you were expecting came up missing. It can be perplexing. Well, this is one of those fragrances where all of the notes are so evenly distributed and present. It is DARK and INTENSE. The bergamot really hooks you in and dances with the lavender which creates this very classy and sophisticated aroma. It's very inviting. But soon after, it goes darker and takes you on a joy ride. It transforms into an intoxicating, very masculine scent which is to DIE FOR. The strong tonic-like blast from the mimosa, with the fusion of the cinnamon and leather, just yells BOLD. Damn it's so sharp and composed. Then the tobacco rises in the base notes as the dark journey nears its end. I also have to mention that the mimosa is present all the way to the end which I find very interesting! The performance and longevity are incredible. I got about 9+ hours on my skin. But that's because spices and leather last forever on my skin. Jet black surrounds you in a bubble that you will enjoy and relish in. After typing out this review I'm going to reach for the bottle just to spray it on myself so I can bask in its glory once again. It's just an all-around ecstacy to smell. This is for the confident man who stands tall and holds his head high wherever he walks. Needless to say, this fragrance is now in my top 5 fragrances in my collection and may very well become my signature scent for 2021. It's that good, and I strongly recommend you add this to your arsenal. Scent 10/10 👍 Perfection in every sense of the word. Performance, longevity, and sillage 9/10 Uniqueness 10/10 - I yearn to discover fragrances that smell unlike anything I've ever smelled before which seems to be a challenge these days... Just buy it...

I kind of regret selling this one. I was at the mall and got stopped by one of those kiosk sellers and she persuaded me to buy this. I gave her a hard bargain though because it was one of the testers and 80% full but ultimately was very pleased with this one after back and forth negotiating. If I had to describe this it is very masculine. It definitely is not unisex. To me the tobacco was prominent. It would be in the same realm as tom ford tobacco oud, parfums de Marley Carlisle, Herod, or even some of the stronger with you colognes. I'm just saying this would be in that category. It is a very nice smelling cologne, but I had others at the time and didn't find myself wearing this one often. I never heard of this brand before and considered it a dupe and it made me dislike owning it at first but I must say when I did sell it, it sold quickly and I still can remember how good it smelled. I would definitely buy again when winter comes around.

Burberry London + CK One Shock had a baby named Jet Black. Has that slightly leathery, quite sweet tobacco scent. This has great projection and longevity. While I haven't tested them side-by-side, I'd say it is on par or better than my older bottle of CK One Shock (eg. the good stuff), and London. Overall, redundant if you own either of the above, but it also is strong, so despite owning both I could just as easily reach for this when I'm in the mood.

Really smooth and "sexy" if you will. My boyfriend has been wearing invictus for the last few years and I can't wait for him to try this instead. It's just so much more mature. Spicy and woody and warm. I hope he likes it as much as I do

This is a stronger Burberry London and I love it! Fall/holidays in a bottle. Smell: 9/10 (love tobacco!) Longevity: 8/10 Silage: 8/10 Price: 7/10 (if you can find it)

Definitely Burberry London, but this is more well rounded and blended better IMO. Worth a buy!

A creamy spiced lavender with warm wood. I like it. The leather adds a nice touch. Over-spraying would be a mistake but a gentle hand keeps this warm and cuddly. There’s a feminine sweet touch to it- like if Alien & Libre had a baby boy. Wish my husband enjoyed it. I’d love to catch this scent in a huggable moment. (Just an update: I found this in Marshall’s over the summer- I wrote my review on a one time wearing & found myself actually really enjoying the wear. I went back the next day to pick it up & it was gone. I’ve looked since & they just don’t ever seem to have it. Looking to purchase it online & it’s around $100 a bottle?! It really is nice. I won’t sleep on it again if I happen to come across it in Marshall’s. While I wouldn’t spend $100 on a bottle- I do find myself looking for this one)

Best $5.00 I ever spent on a frag. Stronger Burberry London. Smell 9/10 Longevity 7/10 Silage 8/10 Value 7/10 (unless you get it for $5, then 12/10)

i tried this the other day when i was at the outlet mall. pretty good

Jet Black is pleasant and entirely inoffensive - masculine, classy, no rough edges or nasty surprises. Gingery/blue at the start, salty/sexy at the finish. That would all be good if the start and finish weren't so closely spaced, and connected by such a weak showing in between. Even for an EDT at this price point, (which would presumably indicate some care taken with ingredients and blending) throw, trail, and longevity are unacceptable. The smell itself is not 'cheap' but extremely poor performance speaks of cut corners. Miyake's Bleu d'Issey EDT follows a very similar scent profile, but it lasts friggin' forever, projects like crazy, and is well-priced at full price - downright cheap from discounters. Affordable quality can be done. Unfortunately, Jet Black doesn't do it.

A literal carbon copy of burberry london, except london is cheaper. Essentially a more expensive clone. Just get london for men by burberry.

Picture this: You're walking in any American shopping mall. As you get closer to the food court, the first smell that hits you is from the Annie Mae cookie shop. This is that smell to me exactly. Non descript baked goods. Sugar cookies if I had to pick something specific. And what's with the name Jet Black? There's nothing dark or sleek about this. Not trying to sound smug, but If I smelled this on someone I'd assume they worked at the mall or Duncan Donuts. This smells like a cheap gourmand from one of the random unboxed bottles of cologne at TJ MAXX. A low effort, cheap dollar tree fragrance. 1/10

i was introduce this to me last year on my birthday the 3 fragrance they release, Man this one is unique the opening is okay and the dry down this frag makes it a unique the tobacco and minosa it so sexy and amazing.. long lasting too. 9/10 over all
