Joie de Vie

On my skin, this smells a bit soapy clean yet floral. It's a nice scent, but there's nothing outstanding to really call it out from any other typical clean floral scent. There's just nothing "wow" about this one. It smells like a safe scent for office/work to me because it's not a strong projecting perfume and not offensive.

This is a mixture of Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh so if you have either of those you don't need this. I do like it but I'm disappointed because it's yet another niche fragrance that smells like a designer scent. I've been running into these niche/designer scents a lot lately and it makes me question the actual point of niche if it's going to smell like a designer brand (Nishane's Hundred Silent Ways for example smells like a mix of La Vie Est Belle, Coco Mademoiselle, and Flowerbomb with vetiver instead of patchouli). EDIT: I tried it on and it goes downhill on me in a shocking way. Smells terrible on me, almost like body odor and I blame the musk. Not a good first impression from Michael Malul and leads me to wonder just how much this company is paying YT reviewers to be shills.

Fragrantica doesn't have the "Blush" flanker, so I'll just review it here. A little confused, because what my nose picked up doesn't seem to be anything listed as the fragrance notes... but here's what it smelled like to me: OPENING: watery honeydew melon MIDDLE: yellow floral blend mixed with jasmine DRY DOWN: hint of pear, a return of light watery honeydew, and distinct cedar Anything melon is an instant no for me, so this was a pass - but it does seem "spring-ready" (I think I OD'd on Cucumber Melon in the 90s and my nose/brain have never forgiven me for it, lol).

Light floral, mostly violets. Or I'm choosing to smell mostly violets. I can smell the lotus but it smells kind of sweaty, a bit aged. I prefer my violets sweeter and fresher (try Crabtree & Evelyn Venetian Violet).
