BEST OF THE ESQUIRE LINE AND PROBABLY THE BEST FRESHIE AFTER OCEAN NOIR FROM MM. Smells slightly spicy-sweet floral aquatic freshie. 100% a summer scent smells sophesticated and fizzy. Amazing vibe and will definitely get compliments in summer/fall/date night! Unique from other but the closest are Armani ADG Absolu, LNDLH Blue Electrique, Ktoret San Lucas and guess you can call it a spicy twist on Hawas

One of the best new summer/spring fragrences of this year, definitely will pick up a full bottle of this at somepoint. The description gives a good example of what this smells like, to me it smells like clean linen in nature but in a way more sexy/sophisticated way.

Has that unique smells of freshness and great for a early spring and hot summer, also can be use for a causal night. Cons are that does not last long (around 3-5 hrs) and the projection is great for around 3hrs, after that it fades on skin.

Like an upscale Nautica voyage. Nice clean fresh fragrance but still masculine. Can’t go wrong

This is a very simple, citrusy fragrance with a focus on the apple leaf in the opening. It was the third fragrance I've ever bought after I asked for something with lavender, not knowing that a wide variety of fragrances have lavender in their heart notes. This one is very uplifting with a slight floral twinge to it. I can see why people smell BDC in it, its almost the same in the heart/dry down but totally different in the opening. It lacks that mint and ginger that BDC brings, instead leading more into a bright watery, citrusy almost candy-like vibe. Overall, I'd give this fragrance a 6/10, it's good but it's simple and not super unique. It's a dumb reach for a spring or summer day.

Honestly pretty decent frag I believe Michael Malul is a niche house worth checking out if you are into Designers but want more umph. This Frag is good but as someone who works outside and really stress tests fragrances (especially freshies) out in the heat, if this one wears off for people in 6 hrs in the AC, i can attest that this one will burn off in 3 hrs out in the sun, good for a gym/casual wear but definetly keep a decant if you wanna smell like this any longer than 3 hrs in the summer

Clean office type scent. If you have a Coach perfume you like, this will be redundant.

This house is the epitome of the meaning of high price doesn't equal high quality fragrances 🤦🏾🤦🏾. This house is Wayyyyyyy over priced for all of their fragrances. They are mostly EDP and they all mostly perform like an EDC which is horrible for the price point. Thus is why I'm happy that I got all of mine at less than retail. These are so hard to resale also 🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾.

Very citrusy opening, dries into a woody finish. Feels like if Bleu de Chanel and Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue had a baby. A nice apple in the opening to liven things up. I’m not blown away, could have gone without picking it up - but it’s a nice fragrance for the office during the summer months.

this is OK. ocean noir is far superior though.

This is (at least for my current taste) my favorite from the house. I'm not afraid to admit I am a MM fanboy. But I can also be unapologetically honest. Most of the MM fragrances are not going to win any awards in terms top niche quality. Now here's the deal. MM has great quality, and for the most part decent performance, but nothing they have is going to beast mode. They are all moderate at best, with some being slightly below average. Now: New Journalist. What does this smell like: The best way to describe this fragrance. NJ is the niche version of Afnan 9am Dive. It's going to be a tri-brid of several "Blue Fragrances." with a natural quality about it. Performance: Performance is slightly above average. Projection is about 2 Feet, and longevity is about 7-9hrs based on location. Who is this for? This for the average working man who spends most of his day in a controlled environment or a causal leisure day. This is not built for the highest of heat. Final thoughts: NJ is a great everyday versatile fragrance that will shine the most in the springtime. I just don't feel any MM fragrance is worth anything more than $50-$75 at best. Anything more than that would be a waste of good money.

Clean, inoffensive men sport scent. You’ve smelled this a million times before. It’s good, lasts. Not worth the high price.
