This is exactly the sort of fragrance I like; good for summer but not "gourmandie" or overly citrusy or overly fruity. I like the wood and floral notes and it's a good summer fragrance IMO. I JUST got it, so we'll have to see how it stands the test of time, but at this point, I think it's a very good buy. I'm currently wearing this stuff for the first time. I can report very good longevity. I applied it at 8:30AM (about 6-8 sprays) and at 1:30PM I'm still projecting a bit. In fact I actually got a compliment from the bank teller about 4 hours into the day (12:30PM.) She said I smells great and the strength was quite good. Again, this is a British fragrance so I expected something very classy, a bit understated and "properly" elegant, and that's exactly what I'm getting. This is also my first fragrance from the UK and I see there's definitely a place for it in my collection. Oh, and here's the clincher. My wife likes it too, especially after I told her it's British and she shouldn't compare it to other European fragrances (e.g. French or Italian.) She gave it a 8.0 / 10. As mentioned above, this stuff is not overly floral or citrusy or loud. Again, it's very classy. Look, at the end of the day, I'm wearing fragrances because I want to smell good. If I get a compliment, then great. If I don't, I don't care... My only concern is that I don't want to be overbearing with my fragrance and I try to be respectful of others. This is going to be a regular reach depending on the weather and I think it's good for day or evening. Overall = 8.75+ / 10.

I love oxford row but Im not incredibly impressed with the false history and shady practices of the company. I would not call this an original composition but also not norm for what you find on most shelves these days. There is a similar accord to my nose in this as fierce, it can also be found in older formulations of Legend as well as Dior homme Eau for men. They dont list iris in the notes but I find most note breakdowns to be complete marketing to direct you or fool you. Im not going to lie its a gorgeous scent profile and I love eau for men and dont really feel like using up my 2015 bottle. So this will work wonderfully for using on days im craving that profile yet dont want to dip into my vintage bottle of Eau. Is it revolutionary? no. Is it boring? Also no. Its a really good fragrance. And doesnt smell cheap and overy synthetic. Even if its completely synthetic they made is smell quite natural and non linear. I would never pay retail for it but with it hitting rack stores for pennies on the dollar they are a better dumb grab than say nautica voyage.

To my nose, Oxford Row is a smoother Kaaf. Kaaf, of course, has the bigger projection of the two.

A mix of Fierce, Percival, and Nautica Voyage is the best way to describe it. Its a great hot weather banger for under $40 at discount websites or Marshalls if youre lucky enough to find it there ($29.99)

I had this one yesterday at TJ Maxx for 29.90, and let me say that it is BORING. I will try it a little more, but I will probably return.

Oxford Row is a really good bang for your buck. Look, if you're looking to smell clean and fresh at a reasonable price under a "designer" name, this one should be your go to. I picked this up at Marshalls for $30, and it's great for daily wear and going into the office. It's a really simple smelling blue/freshie, but it's refined enough to where you still turn heads and don't smell like everyone else. Pretty good longevity and projection, and is perfect for warm and hot days. Really good value.
