Sangria+Embers

This stuff is very well done, but I'm absolutely dumbfounded as to why it's not marketed as unisex. I find that it even leans slightly masculine to me, in the exact same way Polo Red Intense is slightly masculine. Also, they are very much the same style of fragrances. Red fruit forward opening and mid with a beautifully and expertly done saffron note along with some nice amber woods in the base. This stuff just doesn't have the light coffee note the Polo has, while Polo Red Extreme really ramps up the coffee and woods while backing off of the red fruits and saffron. I prefer Intense and then this and Extreme are equally well done, this one leaning towards slightly warmer weather and Extreme definitely reserved for the cold stuff. I've been searching for another fragrance to fill those discontinued gems and this is the best I've found so far. I'd love to see niche brands tackle something like this but I guess it's too mainstream of a style for them, but it seems like making sales would be something all but the most exclusive brands would want. Outside of Royal Crown, Clive Christian, Roja Dove and the like, I can't understand why there aren't more PDM type brands out there as successful as they've proven to be?!?

Just bought this at House of Dubai, a new perfumery in Chicago that I highly recommend! Wow. Wow. This is such a sexy perfume. That saffron note is outstanding. The projection? Insane. I could smell the two sprays I put on my forearm through my hoodie and coat while booking it down Michigan ave in 20-degree weather. I was like, DAMN, I SMELL GOOD!! Such an elevated, luxurious adult perfume. I am a rose hater but don’t get any rose note from this at all even though one is listed. It’s just so beautiful.

A banger from the Micheal Malul house. The fragrance opens up fruity then you get hit with the floral notes and finally the smooth sandalwood dry down. The one thing that I will also say about this house is that they don't make beastmode fragrances, but the scent profiles are mostly all beautifully done. This to me is one of their top 5 fragrances. I own 34 bottles from this house. Great unisex scent done here. The fruits, flowers and sandalwood blend so well.

If Sangria Saffron is daytime scent, this is more of a night time scent. Both are similar yet this one is more dense with heavy amber and tonka combo. The sillage is exceptional and stays 9-10 hours on my skin. This is bit unisex compared to SS, Smells amazing altho I prefer SS over this. Scent: 8/10 Performance: 9/10 Overall: 8.5/10

Very good fruity, floral, sweet smell that is unisex, possibly VERY SLIGHTLY feminine-leaning. I wore it today though and my girlfriend thinks that it is very unisex, which I can agree. On paper strips it seems to smell feminine-leaning, but on skin it suits any wearer in my opinion. Excellent fragrance!

One of my favorite fragrances, it's so elegant and soft. If you're starting into the world of unisex as a guy, this is a good safe option to start with. I wish it was a bit stronger though, after 3-4 hours the projection dies down and it sits close to the skin

This is was my first perfume and I honestly love it. I kinda get the smell of a caramel apple mixed with raspberries and some sweeter notes. It’s really fruity and I find it masculine enough to where I can pull it off easily.

What is smell is Sweet red fruits, saffron, a hint of rose and woods. Feminine leaning but I'd still wear it. Longevity for 9-10 hours with 3-4 hours of strong to moderate projection. 9.5/10

Like a mix of the original Alien with fruits this one is lovely. The little bit of sweetness brightens the fragrance even more while still keeping a classic and prominent jasmine note.

This is so good, I blind buy this and I will say it’s not blind buy safe but definitely worth checking out. 10/10 for me and i say it is unisex and quite versatile.

Love the raspberry and orange notes! Different in a good way. Reminds me of Rahaan Valhalla. Long lasting 6 plus hours and nice projection as well.

A great date night fragrance. It's dark and sexy! Love it! It's unique and beautiful.

There is a dark, ashiness to this scent that embodies "embers" well. This is unisex due to the ashiness and blended quality. This fragrance has mystique and edge, but is approachable. You get a fruits in the beginning but the embers carry through. The fruits are composed in a "perfumey" way rather than as realistic, meant to blend and not protrude. It is not beast mode like many MM fragrances, but is composed well and adequately priced. Not blind buy safe unless you got a bit of eccentricity and darkness in you. This is well blended and exudes quality, but those do not guarantee a love of it from others. It's best to take a sample of this one before buying a bottle. Not for you if you are expecting a bright, fruit basket bursting to life; this smells a bit tense, a seduction. It is recommended for a love sick tryst along dark cobblestone streets. This also has a similar base to MM Amber + Smoke, which only has a whisper of smokiness. I would rather wear Amber + Smoke. It's sugary and happy.

Leans feminine, but unisex enough for me to wear. I'm currently wearing for the first time, and I am enjoying this. I hate to be cliché, but I would describe as a more masculine BR540, not the extrait version. The sweetness here comes from fruity instead of spun sugary like BR540. The sillage is insane in this. The floral notes blend well with the fruity notes. Overall, this is a good scent. Not original or ground breaking, but if you enjoy the BR540 dna, this might be worth a shot. If you want a more feminine/lighter version of this, try Sangria + Saffron.

Such an underrated mommy scent, i had to report to fragrantica to add this in the MML lines lol. (Will review the notes throughly later) Review: BR540 with a raspberry twist and abit more deapth, amazing, i originally dislike BR540 and this kind of made me change my mind. Somehow it comes off unisex and is very intresting. The sillage and longitivity is JUST perfect. I love this and will be giving it to my mom (its our taste).

If there's one thing this has going for it, it's longevity. It lasts at minimum 9 hours on my skin. It packs a punch the entire time with a consistently large projection. It's definitely a unisex scent leaning very slightly feminine, but I would say most men could wear it. My feelings on this fragrance keep changing. It's a very nice warm fruity fragrance, but something about it makes me not want to wear it.

fruity, boozy scent. captures that sangria feel like the name suggests. however, it smells way too synthetic and dense to me. i find it a bit overwhelming.

This smells like Ramon Monigal Flamenco, which is supposed to be close to Mugler Angel. This has nothing to do with BR540. Its unisex with some sweetness, which some people are classifying as fem? Which is laughable, as most designer men's releases and even some niche men's releases are toothache territory as of late. The opening may evoke a slight BR540 vibe for the first few minutes, but that fades quickly. Lasts forever on skin but is light to moderate on projection. It does have great sillage for the first 5-6 hours. Overall, I'm pretty underwhelmed with this. There is something in the base (perhaps tonka) that is somewhat off-putting. Overall, 5/10. Sample if you can, but do not blind buy. If you're a woman looking for a different version of Angel, check this or RM Flamenco for a change of pace.

Got a decant of the perfume Its undoubtedly a feminine scent, I would say 30-70 feminine leaning at least , so this perfume is not for me but woah, the scent is incredible, Michael really be making some real bangers, kudos to him, this 100% will be a gift to a lady, this cant be hated

First of all, it is unisex. Secondly, it is hard to define like BR 540 and is slightly similar. Fortunately, it is even better. It is one of the nicest unisex scents at its price point. A stunner that has decent projection and longevity too.
