Sangria+Saffron

this is a very pleasant surprise of a perfume. i'm the gourmand lover type that isn't usually a fan of florals so this isn't something i would seek on my own based on its notes. however, exactly like a previous commentor stated, smelling this on a whim in a perfume store was all i needed to have it locked into my brain. when i smell this perfume, i think of a wistful, eventful summer evening. you pluck fresh, sweet fruit from your bowl as you rock back and forth in a warm hammock. fireflies swirl around the glow of the lantern illuminating your porch. you're looking out at the orange and pink sunset in front of you, admiring the dotted clouds as you're reliving the excitement of the adventure from earlier that day. this is exactly what this fragrance smells like. on my skin oranges, raspberries, and saffron are twirling together in unison with a dash of sparkling rosewater to keep everything light and fresh. it stays on my skin for a while and ive gotten compliments while wearing it (which is rare for me- i typically don't get perfume related compliments unfortunately!) but this beauty does the trick. i implore everyone to give this perfume a try!

So my newest blind buy! The berry note was stronger than I anticipated. But not a criticism just surprised. Delightfully different. Unique from anything else . Well, it has that saffron note on top so you know what it is reminiscent of...I have a little of a one ounce left. I could always layer this with BR540 but for now I think I want to enjoy my S&S. As l wear it, I smell the citris note coming up. That is probably all I will get today. I find that most people only identify 3 notes on an initial sniff, if they say more, they are being disingenuous. Now, perfect for fall, I am wearing it to brunch. I think first date worthy. I don't find it sexy but this is my first day I literally just got it about 10 it is 1230 now. Unisex but definitely female leaning. Daytime fragrance, safe for the office and church. I like very much. Unique from anything else l own even though l do have the Rose + Honey from the same house. Is it blind buy worthy? Yes, with the coupon it was 96 bucks for the 3.4 edp. I think it would add something to anyone's collection especially almost exclusively niche buyers like me.

I would have never tried this fragrance for myself had I consulted Fragrantica first. I don’t particularly care for rose or white flowers. I also would have thought that this would be too sweet for me due to the raspberry and apple notes; however, when the worker at the fragrance shop handed me the test strip, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. It IS sweet, but it’s offset by the warmth of the saffron and ambergris. I also feel that the saffron should be listed as a mid-note, as I smell it hours into wear. Husband thinks it’s sexy; I thinks it’s because of the saffron. Sillage is moderate. Longevity is moderate when sprayed on the skin and long-lasting when sprayed on clothing. I bought a full bottle and wore on date night.

This scent is absolutely luxurious, beautiful and just pure bliss! This is love and alluring elegance, classy sophistication in a bottle. It is basically a beautiful day! LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! A million compliments. It's not your moms perfume nor is it a juvenile perfume, it is confidence, not bothered, the wind is softly blowing, quiet luxury perfume. It's that friend that has it all together; style, naturally beautiful, smart, humble and yet she is the kindest person you know! You will not be disappointed

I love LOVE love this fragrance! I am partial to super fruity scents and this one is fantastic. By far this is my most complimented scent out of an over 500 bottle collection. While I truly love more challenging fragrances, this one is highly accessible to most people and I feel like it makes a great gift for anyone who likes a fruity scent. I saw someone else refer to this as a “compliment magnet” and I think that is a perfect way to sum up this scent!

This is really nice....a sleeper a lot of people aren’t aware of. It has a beautiful deep berry fruity sweetness with a tinge of spice. Definitely a hidden gem. It’s definitely not a dupe of Xerjoff”s Dolce Amalfi, but i think if you enjoyed Dolce you would enjoy this as well, because they both have a nice deep fruityness with a little spice. The fruityness in S &S is a berry sweetness instead of the juicy fruit gum vibe Dolce Amalfi has.

The only review I got for this perfume is: IF THIS SAME PERFUME WAS RELEASED BY A DESIGNER BRAND, PEOPLE WOULD'VE GONE CRAZY AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN "THE BEST RELEASE OF THE YEAR". BUT FORTUNATELY IT IS MICHAEL MALUL AND IT'S SOO UNDER THE RADAR THAT PEOPLE CAN ENJOY IT'S UNIQUENESS. Smells deliciously sweet, classy and fresh. Perfect for summer. LOVE this perfume! Scent: 10/10 Performance: 8/10 (7-8 hours on skin) Overall: Solid 10/10

I really love this perfume. On first sniff it is a punch of sweetness, bright, and tart. It settles into the raspberry and rose, the lily of the valley and jasmine balancing it out into a lovely floral bouquet. The closing notes of ambergris and suede adds a musky sensuality to the finish, but still holds onto a slight sweetness keeping it warm, feminine and appealing. It is a perfect day to night perfume for summer.

i sprayed this on myself at a perfume store and it lasted until the next morning even after i put on a scented lotion. its a very unique floral fruity scent that has beautiful warm undertones. to me it honestly could be worn year round but its more of a spring day or night scent. SOSO good run dont walk.

I bought this from Perfumania and it was buy 1 get one 50% off. I am so glad that I invested in this fragrance as it is my all time favorite. It is very sweet and long lasting without being overpowering. I discovered that I love the scent of saffron. This has become my go to everyday scent.

My new favorite sweet perfume! I pick up strawberry with orange and raspberry, very sweet and feminine. It has undertones of floral that pair well with the fruitiness. I pair this with Candied Lychee from The 7 Virtues or Burberry Her. <3

To my nose, it's Angel Nova / Lataffa Mayar DNA to my nose again, but I feel like Angel Nova beats it hands down, not bad, just reminds me of these two. I don't hate it, would I buy it again, idk

My top 3 favorite fragrance of all time. The opening electrifies you with saffron and tart raspberry, i could smell this fragrance forever. Absolutely beautiful and deserves more hype.

This is one of my favorite fragrances. I have had in my head for months the kind of fragrance I wanted. Something that smells purple and fruity but not cloying. I finally found this and it's been exactly what I'm looking for. There isn't any grape or wine notes but it perfectly conveys all the components of a Sangria without being boozy or too sweet. It's absolutely perfect!

Smooth floral, fruity sweet and musky aromatic scent. The saffron floral is very loud making the rest of the notes not that noticeable. It's a nice scent profile but the "raspberry" amongst the notes it's somewhat muted or maybe it's way too well-blended. Has a good performance. Overall, it's beautiful, unique, and niche feminine perfume.

This is not my usual scent, but I’ve been really enjoying it on my casual times out. Perfect for simple hangs, work, shopping, etc. The saffron is noticeable, but as others have said it fades into mostly fruit after it settles. Bottle was $130, I’m not sure I’ll buy it again but I’m enjoying it while I have it!

Sweet berry floral w/ a mild woody note. Simple, languid, pretty. Perfect everyday Spring/Summer scent. Strolling through a garden on a warm spring day, straw gathering basket of flowers swinging on your arm, plucking plump raspberries from caneberry bushes.

While I really like the scent, it doesn't seem like it travels far off of me or stick around more than a few hours; 4 at most. I would love a bottle of this regardless, it smells fantastic. The one I am wearing came from a scent discovery kit.

So pretty! Was not a fan of Angel Nova because it was extremely screechy and tart. This is what I would’ve taken from Angel Nova. Compliment magnet

The opening is beautiful but it quickly fades. On the skin, it just smells like the ambergris and suede after two minutes. On clothes, the same thing happens but the rose and maybe a little raspberry stick around a little longer at least. I just am not a fan of this ambergris suede dry down. It smells almost like the nice fruits in the opening disintegrated into oily dust.

I concur - this is Angel Nova - just no where as good. The saffron is light enough but still unsettling. This smells okay for me - not a win. Seems to have better longevity than others in the brand. I'm just not vibing with the smell.

This is luxury in a bottle. Ive been wanting this for so long but never pulled the trigger because of the price point. FInally got it today and do not regret it. This is the type of fragrance that everyone is NOT wearing, its not familiar and will make your neck snap walking by and have people asking what are you wearing? It's sexy, sensual and sophisticated. I get lots of the tart raspberry & the boozy sangria with some spice in the dry down from the saffron. The suede also starts coming through on the dry drown. In my own opinion I think it leans more feminine, but a guy could totally pull this one off with the spicy notes. Longevity and projection is total beast mode, it can actually be cloying at times be careful how much you're spraying you dont need a lot to leave a scent trail wherever you go with people following behind complimenting how good you smell. I think its honestly perfect for an all year fragrance and something you can wear as a signature scent.

Tested this today. On first sniff I thought, this smells familiar. Very nostalgic. I wore a fragrance that smelled like this in high school. While I was in the store, I could only remember that the old fragrance was by Cacharel. I looked it up when I got home. This reminds me of Promesse by Cacharel, which is discontinued. Happy to have this in my collection.

When I was younger, I went to this Titanic Exhibit. In the exhibit they had some perfume vials that they had uncovered from the wreckage. That’s what this smells like on my skin. Something extremely vintage. So much rose, it’s sickening to me. It’s a gorgeous scent objectively—- but that rose note is nuclear to me. Going to list this one for sale or trade.

This will sound weird but I can’t help what my nose smells. To me it smells like someone mixed BR540 with CH very good girl. Or if the two had a baby that got the best qualities of both. Sweet saffron like BR BUT not boring and linear, and fruity bright slightly rosy without being overly loud and screechy.

I really love this one. Absolutely mostly sangria with some saffron in the background. If you have one in your city or every have been to one, this gives me Sixty Vines vibes. Perfect for going out with the girls or meeting someone at a more Californian-style bar.

My experience with this scent is so different than what's listed above! All I can smell is the fruity parts and nothing else, specifically the raspberry🫤 I wish I could find the bite of apple, or the lush feeling of floral, but it's all fruit to me.

I think I’m alone here- but I don’t love it. I don’t dislike it, but it’s very faint to my nose. I can barely smell anything. Just a little berry. Kinda like a less woodsy less sexy less mature version of Dylan Purple.

I got this for my girlfriend. It’s her signature scent and this is incredibly strong sweet sweet fruity and saffron heavy. Good, can be a bit cloying at times.

Smelled this in a mall kiosk. Lust at first smell. Not paying one fifty retail. But it will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.
