Michalsky for Women

Oh, MY WORLD!!! Why is it not more popular is beyond me... Michalsky never spent a fortune on marketing campaign, he is well known in Germany, not so much in UK...what a shame. The fragrance is absolutely outstanding in many ways; the innovative and quite eccentric bottle, the quality of juice and the notes to die for!!! At a first glance, Michalsky may seem more like a gourmand elixir but there is much more to it! The fragrance is rather deep and seductive, opening is fruity; quite refreshing, awakening, then, it becomes floral-sweet to finally turn oriental vanilla with praline and licorice accords, it lingers for hours and is very noticeable, both, on your skin and clothes!!! It is my personal 'cuddler', the kind of fragrance you just spray, close your eyes and feel so sexy!!! Great for winter and evening for two but it is also quite acceptable for office wear and during warm weather if applied sparingly. Brilliant fragrance, well worth trying!!! A must have for oriental vanilla lovers!!! Now that I tried it several times, I can tell you that the base is noticeable even after 20 hours from application!!! What a quality!!!

And composition contains everything that I need from fragrance: it is sweet, but not overwhelming, it has fresh vibe, it is elegant without being boring, noticeable without being loud, and sexy without being vulgar. Fits for everyday wear and for evening. Try it!

Nathalie, I couldn't agree with you more :-) This fragrance is a real charmer, seducer, comforter. Full stop. One of the best I've ever tried! I am proud to have it in my collection and for those of you oriental vanilla lovers out there who haven't tried it yet - you are making a serious mistake living a day without Michalsky :-)

It's very deep scent. Smell like a pure sex. Love it.

Michalsky for Women is a nice Oriental Floral with fruity hints. On the one side creamy and fresh, on the other side deep, heavy and sexy. The opening is creamy, lightly fruity and very sweet yet. At first the pear and orange are kinda strong, the grapefruit is attending later. The bridge to the middle is very nice, because the pear almost flows together with the licorice. Very yummy! Neroli and heliotrope are giving the fragrance a lovely floral note. At this time Michalsky for Women is very spicy and lightly soapy, not in a bad way. The vanilla gives a soft backdrop. The base is heavy and longlasting. Vanilla and praline are very comforting, not too sweet nor overpowering. The combo with sandalwood is wonderful, it gives the scent a soft woody note. I think Michael did good as well. Really nice Oriental Floral, but I'd recommend to test it before buying.

Oriental gourmand would be more appropriate as category - at least what I could perceive. It is sweet, heavy and clearly oriental. Even the topnotes didn't induce fruity lightness, but were more of confiture fruityness. The florals were entertwined with the licorice, which smelled exactly like the taste when you chew on those sticks. A pretty weird kind of sweet, and which you have to test some time. The wood wasn't detectable as such, but the base reminded me of Escada Incredible me. It was a grown up kind of sweet, like from very exquisit handmade pralinée and with a bit of spice. For those who enjoyed L de Lempicka or Magnetism it should be devine, I prefer more wood and less sweetness. But I think Michael did good...

We received two samples of this wonderful, luxuriuos scent eau de toilette at the Marriott Hotel in Berlin, where we stayed in 2011. We visited this beautiful city, because we parcitipated in the Berlin Marathon that year. Behind the hotel, there was a Michalsky store, very fancy with wonderful but expensive clothing. From that day on, I cannot forget this sexy, pleasant smell. Very long lasting. Even stays in your skin the day after. Truly I can say that couldn't avoid smelling my wrist those days I wore it. Unfortunatelly I couldn't find it at the Duty Free stores after leaving Berlin!! I will keep on looking for it.

Michalsky...... It seems that Fragrantica has a lot of problems understanding where companies originated and/or have their headquarters located. Michalsky is a GERMAN brand and definitely NOT US-American and so is ADIDAS by the way. Please do your homework.

It's horrible that this wonderfull scent is discontinued. I purchased 2 extra bottles but they gonna be empty in one year. Has anyone an idea about something similar? I alway get tones of compliments for this scent. I'm gonna cry... such a disaster
