Sexual Paris Tendre Pour Homme

Just bought this as a Christmas gift for someone after sampling at the mall. Honestly, this is a very, very nice scent. I can't speak to the performance, but I'll eventually pick up a bottle and find out. This one goes on my want list based on the scent alone. I suggest trying this. I see this being a very popular choice for people in the future.

Just been less than 2 hours since I put this on, but first impression was very good. Smelled light, pleasant and refreshing. As it sits, it definitely turns into a stronger more masculine scent. Stronger than I expected because I am catching strong whiffs. Update: Still catching whiffs after 9 hours. Faint, but still there.

This lasts FOREVER on my clothes and skin. Can usually smell in on my clothes up to 2 days after I wear it. Many great date nights and special occasions with this one. Always pulls positive attention.

I like this a lot. Probably one of Michel's best. Well blended, perfect for date night.

Aqva Amara by Bvlgari is loved by many, but not by me. I am not into overly citric (fruit) fragrances, especially when they smell like rind rather than fruit. Aqva Amara is the smell of what biting into an orange peel tasted like! YUCK! I will never get the appeal. However, Michel Germain Sexual, while having very much the same DNA as Aqva Amara, opens with the sweet fruit part of the citrus, not the sharp, bitter, acidic nastiness of orange or grapefruit rinds. Even though, as I already mentioned, I am not a big citrus (fruit) fan, Sexual opens with a citrus that is tolerable for me, especially since, unlike Amara, which is completely linear from beginning to end, it seamlessly slides into its middle notes of juniper, thyme, cedar, and patchouli, leaving quite a bit of the citrus grove behind. It doesn't vanish completely, however; still maintaining a foundation for the more herbal/woody scents to balance upon, and it is pleasant and somewhat inviting. I don't foresee a ton of compliments. It's just not that kind of panty-dropper fragrance, so "Sexual" may have been a poor name for this one, but it is a good freshie for a warm, breezy day on the beach sipping a Mai-Tai from a coconut with a little paper umbrella on the side.
