Sexual Sugar

This fragrance is a cutie pie. I'm not going to pretend the (hysterical) name wasn't a factor in my purchase. I bought the 3-piece set from Macy's and it comes in this ridiculously festive, pink sparkly box. If you like the scent, buy the box set and it will feel like Christmas (plus free gifts). At first spray, it definitely smells like a soft Pink Sugar. Maybe we can call it "Pink Sugar Eau Tendre?" XD The powdery floral notes are super soft and add a clean comfort to the fruity confection vibes. It partially reminds me of a blue soda or Icee without the sharpness/sourness "sparkling" scents get on my skin. As it continues to settle, it tickles the nose and I get faint similarity to Wicked by Victoria's Secret. The almond on Sexual Sugar makes me want some roasted nuts from Gertrude Hawk. Overall, I think this is worth a try if you can get a sample with purchase (like I did) or can find a vial/decant from a reputable seller. I think my heart ultimately lies with the creamy marshmallow of Pink Sugar, but this is definitely a lovely alternative. Edit: I will add I tried this on a hot and humid day. I'm excited to see how this fares in colder weather. This is more gourmand than anything, and lately I have been in love with the clean, white musky-woody drydown of Electric G (Harajuku Lovers) for the summer.

I blind-bought this online lol because it was nowhere to be found in stores. Wish me luck... UPDATE: This was a dumbass decision but I was fortunate. Here is the context: Pink sugar had her 21st birthday and chose to spend the evening at a nightclub. Looks may be deceiving, she smells sweet like captured childhood innocence but glance again and you meet eyes with a seductive yet confident woman standing over you. Okay, that description might have been a bit cringe but here is my piece. Yes, it does smell surprisingly similar to Pink Sugar when you first get a whiff but after it settles it begins to reminisce an even mixture of "Sugarful" and "Pink Sugar"- that cool sweet kinda smell yk. After maybe 30 minutes it dries down to a mature sweet candy scent with a hint of warm vanilla. No almond to be detected.

Oh sexual sugar. How I love you so. You're the only perfume I've come across that has mastered incorporating almond into your beautiful notes which smells beautiful and divine, a true almond burst of fresh sweetness. I've tried a few and they come other smelling bland or off balance, like a awkward nerdy kid who tried out for baseball practice. You are a sweet and playful. The other perfumes that are described as you, don't compare. You can handle on your own. I am so glad I got this, I wear it when I want to feel cute yet sexy. I really hate departing my gourmand scents into the adult perfume world but as well I want to be taken seriously, you fit the bill perfectly.

This scent is ok . It does smell very similar to pink sugar which I enjoy quite a bit . It’s less rich though, I get caramel notes and true sugar with pink sugar and this one is just a lite cotton candy , berry , reminds me slightly of victor n Rolf bon bon or blossom from Jimmy choo mixed with pink sugar or maybe even Versace crystal noir mixed with pink sugar . ( I just went back and smells it again hours later and that’s what came to mind ) . The longevity is horrible , it’s definitely a youthful lite body spray type of scent . Good for layering . While it’s a nice scent , I expected this to be the superior, more refined rich scent but it’s not .

Sexual Sugar appeals to me as a delicious fragrance full of happiness and joy! Sugar, passion flower, hint of wild strawberry, almond and vanilla make it a delighful combo for gourmand lovers. It is a must have for me, so far I only have 2 samples to enjoy but I am planning on purchasing a full size bottle. It is a great choice for summer fun! A perfect holiday fragrance with good silage and decent lasting power. Truthfully, it makes me want to unscrew the atomizer to drink the bottle content. Tasty, sweet, very feminine - that is for sure! Worth trying if you love Pink Sugar and Delicious Cotton Candy!

I find this to be a very grownup version of Pink Sugar. I like Pink Sugar but it can open with a strong alcohol smell. The sign of shall we say a cheaper perfume. No alcohol smell here. Yes it is sweet, yes it smells like sugar but there are berry and cream notes through out. I never smelled any floral. What a great fragrance for sweet lovers. It lasts about 6 hours on me, with arms length sillage for the first two hours and then it sits close. Oh and someone told me "You always smell so good and sweet, like I could take bite out of you." I always wear Sexual Sugar to this place, so yeah it is sexy.

This smells really nice. Kind of like a cross between Fantasy, pink sugar, and maybe some hard candy. It's a lighter sweet scent that is really good in summer where as I think Pink Sugar and Fantasy are good in colder weather. If you're a fan of sweet perfumes like pink sugar and fantasy defiently check this one out. I do like this scent I just don't see the need of buying it if you already own Fantasy because it's basically the same scent just lighter. Also for those thinking about purchasing this, I don't think the perfume last that long either.

It is better then anything I have yet to have on. The smell last for a very very long time. And it is in a nice price range. My hubby loves Vanilla and he also loved that it kind of smells like cotton candy on. I have been so discouraged by perfume as they mostly smell like something my gran would have worn that would turn dark brown when it got old and you would always have to throw it away, this smell so sweet and fresh. I will be taking it up as my signature perfume.

This is the sexy grown up version of that pink perfume we all loved in middle school. I love the nostalgia of it and it’s not sickening and overpowering like some of these other sugary perfumes can be. My boyfriend absolutely loves it too. I want a full size of this one so bad!

Fun fact: Infused with aphrodisiacs... Spicy caramelized sugar, vanilla, almond, drydown I get a hint of blossom and berry then creamy/powdery. Strong projection, similar to Aquolina pink sugar but the sexy older sister.

Yummy sugar with vanilla almonds. Very sweet and cute. Great for layering with other perfumes that you want to add a touch of sweetness to. Longevity could be a bit longer, but it's overall a lovely scent.

I just layered this with Tiffany and co. It's great! White trash w a touch of class!

I smelled this today - it is so yummy...

From what I can tell, Michel Germain has rebranded as "Jean Marc Paris" and has renamed most of their fragrances. You can get this for much cheaper than originally sold for at Gordman's, Marshall's, etc. under the name "Sugarpop" (which is a name I prefer, as "Sexual Sugar" is probably the worst name ever.) As for the scent itself, everyone below me is right in the Pink Sugar comparisons. This is Pink Sugar Lite. Poorer longevity, airier, more innocent (despite the original name). Sugar and berries and vanilla dance around on your wrists and then die about 5 hours in. A lovely little CandyLand performance of Swan Lake. Very pleasant if you like prediabetic scents. I know I do. Once again, as others are saying, if you like the concept of Pink Sugar but find it too heavy, this is a nice alternative that's even more affordable.

Very sugary, like pink cotton candy mixed with creme brulee and.... Play-Doh?! What the.....?! Opened up one of those paper testers for this perfume today and, yup, Play-Doh was the first scent to hit my nose. This is the second such paper tester I tried for this in the past month and I don't remember smelling Play-Doh the first time around. On paper testers, it seems a little too sugary, a little too early-teen trying to be sexy virginal for my tastes, but given the Play-Doh smell I caught in it today, the aphrodisiac in this may actually be directed towards pedophiles.... Would like to try sample of the actual eau de parfum as you never can tell for sure with the paper testers and after 10 minutes or so, I no longer smell the Play-Doh.

At first blast this scent smells exactly like Aquolina's Pink Sugar, then it morphs into the florals with a background of cotton candy sweetness. A YouTuber I follow - Among the Stars Celebrity Perfume Reviews, said it was his favourite of the Sexuals, and his reaction to it influenced my purchasing of this large 80 ml bottle. Do I own Pink Sugar? Yes. Am I disappointed at the similarity? A little. So I will agree with the opinion that SS is PS's more elegant sister. I do find it amusing how they share one note (Vanilla) and manage to smell SO similar. Maybe because the sugar note is in the opening along with the berries?

This smells way better than pink sugar. More tolerable sugary sweetness. Pink sugar to me smells too licorice and synthetic like barbie dolls...no matter how many times I've tried it. This one though has the tartness of the berries and creaminess of the vanilla which make it a little bit more complicated. It's nicer. Saying that...after owning and smelt so many of some natural perfumes such as Creed or Serge Lutens...this smells too fake to me :/ I still want to own it because I want to have a perfume that is like Pink Sugar but not Pink Sugar. The longevity of this great too! At least more than 5 hours.

jum jum jum , Cotton candy heaven . As mentioned by others . very much like pink sugar and delicios cotton candy . But this is a tad bit softer then Pink sugar. and you do not get that kind off burning stingy sharpness. i edmit . pink sugar can give you that feal .. But i love it still. This is a bit more floral then pink sugar . I can detect the strawberrys in this to . but it very artificial , candy like for shure ;) a very nice little candy treat this is .. on my skin not as long lasting as pink sugar wich last all day , This is more subtle and lingers more in the background

I bought this when I was really into gourmands and almost cloyingly sweet fragrances. This IS very similar to pink sugar, especially when you first smell it, but for me it’s softer, creamier, and less in-your-face. I get an initial burst of sugar and berries, but as the sugar warms up, the berries take a back seat and beautiful almond takes center stage. I think the floral notes keep it from being too immature by giving it a bit more depth. This is an everyday, non-offensive fragrance. If you want “sexual” you’ll have to bring that to the table yourself

Sexual Sugar smells like the early 2000's lip gloss of your dreams grew up and got a marketing degree. TO/ON ME Its sweet, flirty and unapologetically youthful. Wearing it feels like some sort of core memory in the making... A woman walked by our table when she was being brought to her seat at a restaurant (no name drops) my best friend and I were already seated and she completely stopped and asked what smelled so good and if she could get the name of the perfume. We had gotten ready at my house beforehand and BOTH used this fragrance. 🩷

It's not too strong and overbearing like the Sexual fresh one and it doesn't irritate my nose either. This one has a candy, sweet scent like britney's fantasy rather than a citrus, spicy scent like dior addict 2. This one definitely feels more tone down. If I had a bf, I would definitely get Sugar Daddy! It smells even stronger than Fresh but it's doesn't irritate my nose that much. Has really nice smell too that I would love in a man. And my mom personally thinks it smells better than sexual sugar.

Sexual Sugar shares similarities with Pink Sugar Luxury imo, such as it being sweet and smelling, well, pink. I don't find it too similar to the original Pink Sugar though, as it's not nearly as heavy and woodsy. Sexual Sugar is far more "innocent." To me, it's smells exactly like a brand new, sweet scented babydoll. I enjoy this playful scent. It's sweet, soft, airy, and not to be taken seriously. Picture Sexual Sugar as the youngest sister to the Pink Sugar line.

I like it. This is a combination of Pink Sugar and Prada Candy to me. Its not super sweet and the floral is beautiful. I used 6 sprays and it has been three hours now and I can still smell it. It is an unoffensive office scent. While I like my atomizer I have of it I don't know that I would get a full bottle. Longevity: 3+ hours Sillage: arms length Unique: Not really. Smells a lot like other fragrances Full Bottle Worthy: Not for me but maybe for others.

This perfume is so sweet smelling, almost like an almondy cotton candy. It is a pure pink sugar-like smell, with a hint of almond keeping it from being purely sugar. I don't really pick up on the florals, but those might be the notes that I can't quite place that also keep it airy/light. It's a little sickly sweet, especially in warmer weather, but I find it to be a cozy, nostalgic scent. It reminds me of how Victoria's Secret looks.

This is a little boring to me on its own, but it's nice to layer with other fragrances when you want something sweeter. Today I'm wearing it with L by Lolita Lempicka, which is already a yummy scent, but nothing about it is sweet. I can't imagine many scenarios I would reach for just this. Maybe if I was going on a winter field trip with some elementary children. Smells kind of like sugar cookies.

So nostalgic and fun! Sexual Sugar initially smells like opening a mixed bag of Jelly Belly jelly beans and inhaling the smell of all the weird flavors at once. Haha! The candy scent eventually gives way to a pretty, almond berry floral that smells considerably more grown-up. The fragrance overall is unabashedly youthful though. Regardless, enjoy my decant as a woman in my 40s. ;)

To me, this is Pink Sugar without the licorice or burnt sugar smell. And its those two things that I love about Pink Sugar. This is, to my nose, a very simple, linear fragrance. Lots of vanilla cotton candy on me from start to finish. Its okay if you're into super sweet scents. I was hoping for a more mature scent. This is still an enjoyable scent but nothing I would repurchase.

A sweet cotton candy scent indeed with some prominent berry notes. The flowers are subtley present and take just a little edge off this sugary confection. Almond adds a nice gourmand interest, creating a creamy and powdery nuance as the flowers bloom a little more in the drydown. Indulgent and yummy. And sexy in the most delicious way.

Sweet, like cotton candy at application. I do get berries mixed with almond and vanilla. Sweet, gourmand and young. Only a tinge of tartness which is appreciated to keep the fragrance from being too cloying. Close to the skin, it's almond caramel like you're smelling a rich vanilla ice cream topped with a berry sauce. Yum.

When I first sprayed this, I instantly thought this was a delicious scent. For a brief moment it reminded me of Prada Candy without that overpowering caramel note. Then as it dries down it leaves a trail marked by the African Orange Flower and Almond. I really like this scent, not sickening at all, its quite enjoyable!

I really, really like this! I'm surprised because I tried another Michel Germain sample from the kit and I hated it. This is a strong sugar and berry fragrance that is a head turner. To me, it's mysterious and sexy. Great for date night or clubbing. I'll add the performance and sillage in a future edit.

I love this for layering or sweetening up a too-heavy fragrance. It smells like cotton candy to me, in a warmer more sensual way. I like it a lot. It reminds me mostly of Fantasy but it's less cloying. Recommend if you like sweet sugary scents or want to layer!

Quite nice; on skin, it's a lovely, fresh, clean, faintly-light sweetness. Little to no sillage & very little longevity. For an EDP, it performs much like a body mist &, therefore, not worth the price tag. (The packaging is adorable!)

I mean, I like it but I don't think it's super special. A sweet vanilla with some almond. I don't get florals or berries. I almost get like a marshmallow. Might be the almond.

Ughh I really wanted to like this. I got it to see if it was a softer version of Delicious Cotton Candy, and while it is definitely softer, it has too much of a baby powder dry down. If I smell up close, there’s more of that sweet floral, almond, musk, but all of those things seem to become baby doll/powder the further away I smell it. I wish it smelled more like the initial spray, as I get more of the sugar and berries there too. It’s a larger than average bottle too! (4.2 vs 3.4) and very pretty, and the name is a bit amusing. So sad this one didn’t work out and kudos to those who get to enjoy it!

Don’t come for me but this smells like the synthetic version of pink sugar. Now I know a lot of people hate pink sugar but I happen to love it. Pink sugar doesn’t smell synthetic on my skin but unfortunately, sexual sugar smells so cheap. What a bummer.

Very unremarkable and unmemorable. It doesn't smell like sugar either. Doesn't really project or last long.

“Hugs and kisses are inevitable. They are guaranteed or your money refunded.” Yes, maybe...but what the ad doesn't tell you that those hugs and kisses are likely to come from your Grandma. Look, this smells like something I'd give to an 8 year old to use along with her playtime make-up kit and nail polish if it didn't have the word SEXUAL in it. I don't find anything "sexual" about it. Its about as sexual as me happening to be PMSing and have intense urges for raiding the candy section at a convenience store at 3 A.M. Can that be used based on technicality as "sexual" since it has to do with urges and hormones? Maybe? Yes? No? I don't know. But, what I DO know is that this scent makes me feel like I'm secretly toting around all my snacks inside my trenchcoat to ease my social anxiety after exiting my home. This scent is just too OVERLY SWEET! They should have called this "Candygasm" instead.

Cotton candy covered with sugar, even more sugar and some vanilla. Nooooo no no. This fragrance is not my cup of tea. It's too juvenile and reminds me of a cheap body spray I'd get at my local five below. If you like pink sugar then this is right up your street but to me this frag lacks depth and originality. It's so sweet to the point of it being headache inducing. Keep in mind I hate pink sugar, so anything that smells even remotely close to it is on the absolutely not, hell no list for me. This frag is too girly ,frilly tutus and pig tails for me. But that's only my itty bitty opinion, everyone's different and that's what makes the world go round.

this opens with a lot of sugar and berries and a bit of passion flower. after a few minutes it kind of reminds me of cough syrup. i get more orange blossom and vanilla. there's a slightly tart thing happening, but overall it's fruity sugary sweetness. i am not a fan of sugary scents so this won't work for me, but i can see it appealing to a lot of people.

This is a nice, safe scent. I would agree it also reminds me of Prada Candy and the 90’s Brittany Spears scents. It’s a pretty plain/linear scent. I get candied berries from this. It’s sweet, fun and girly. Maybe suited to a younger generation. Not sure I could pull this off in my 40’s, but would have worn this as a teen. Nice but not for me personally.

Someone recommended this to me because I wanted to love Pink Sugar, but the licorice note smells like burnt hair to me. There's nothing sexual or sweet about this. Kinda smells like diaper wipes or stale cotton candy from last summer that grandma kept under the sink with her powder and offers up to you the next time you visit🤷♀️

This scent is just too sweet, a synthetic kind of sweet, like Britney Spears' Fantasy and Aquolina's Pink Sugar.

I get SEEEEEERIOUSLY SPICY in the opening. And it is extremely reminiscent of Black Opium, but ONLY in the opening. I dont even know how i am getting spicy. We are all different with different chemistry i guess. As it dries and the spicy starts to fade i get some chemical smell? Now that the spice is gone i smell sweet vanilla creme brulee. I think the previous chemical smell was the almonds. This stuff isnt great. I had such high hopes. The ingredients, the description. So many ladies love it. The pink juice in the bottle had me convinced this stuff would smell like pure cotton candy. I LOVE me a gourmand when its done right. i LOVE smelling edible. i think we all should smell edible. This stuff smells cheap. And it fades. FAST. Its like a body spray. not a perfume. theres ZERO longevity. Which is ok with me cause im about to wash it off. OH HERES THE COTTON CANDY. RIGHT AT THE END. Now it smells like cotton candy flowers? if that is possible. its not good Smells like cheap disappointment. This perfume totally hijacked my senses. Nothing smells right to me now. FUNKY This perfume has turned me OFF from ever trying anything Michel Germain ever again.

Sexual Sugar is a sweet gourmand fragrance which has nothing to do with sex but is more of a girly flirty & fun scent. Because it's subtle & not floral, she can be worn by the younger crowds teens to early 20's. I'm in my early 20's and still finishing up college and I wear a lot of different perfumes for the hell of it and for the experience/education and most importantly for my pleasure. And this perfume gives me a lot of pleasure. This perfume is instantly sugary on me. The initial spray is a scent of crushed sugar packets, pink sugar (think Aqualina Pink Sugar) and cotton candy. Smells like something you want to eat or drink. I can also compare it to pink lemonade. There's no citrus note listed but I smelled something lightly citrusy (maybe the orange flower? orange blossom) and a berry. The berry is pretty tart & my favorite part. I love berries in fragrance. This turns into a vanilla rather quickly. Some white almonds, little nutty & creamy in the background. Sillage & longevity could be better but while it performs it's sweet magic it's so delicious & so wonderful. I get plenty of compliments. I was wearing earlier today at work & a female coworker said that I smell really good and asked me about my perfume. Sorry ladies I don't tell anyone what I'm wearing because whenever I do reveal my perfume's identity before I know it the person who asked me is wearing it & feels just like they are wearing my same clothes while standing next to me & copying my look. I do reveal my taste & choices in perfumes on Fragrantica. Sweet sugar cotton candy & berry with vanilla. Lots to love about this simple, airy & youthful scent. I recommend it for spring & summer and it's not meant to be seductive or bold, just a cute and innocent scent to wear casually throughout your day or part of it. I think it's way too relaxed to make a statement. It can also pass for a party perfume but not a holiday Christmas party, a summer party. Good juice.

I just ordered this perfume and received it today in the mail.I have been looking for a cotton candy gourmand type fragrance to replace my pink sugar.I find that I love pink sugar but when I wear it the licorice and the musk totally wreck the fragrance for me.Sexual sugar is pink sugar minus the licorice and musk and is way more grown up.The flowers and berries are very subtle on my skin but the cream brulee is extremely noticable on my skin and there is a soft spun sugar or cotton candy smell from the very start until the dry down.This also has a soft sandalwood drydown to give it a sophisticated smell.This is one of those fragrances you may not be able to smell after awhile but others wil be able to smell it.This is a gourmand fragrance done right.Very soft and alluring and is one of those scents you could wear year round.If you are looking for a grown up cotton candy caramel gourmand scent this is for you!Gourmand scents should not be loud and cheap smelling but should be soft and sexy and hint at sugary sweetness.Michael Germain`s sexual sugar does this and does it very well!:-)

Sexual Sugar 🍭 Super sweet - berry infusion This does resemble cotton candy to a certain degree. It’s super sweetness could be a dislike for some folks. It’s not a sticky sweet though. More airy. At first, I did not like it all too much. But after a year, I revisited it and it is very delicious smelling. I definitely would not classify this as a mature scent. It’s fun and yes I’d say it resembles something from Bath and Body Works but well blended. I really enjoy the wild berry vibe. It’s not loaded with raspberries and the sugar really gives it some liveliness. It does have some lasting power to it 💗 Great comforting scent to wear to sleep 💤
