Summer Oud

I tried this perfume at The Perfumery in Barcelona today. This is one of my favorites in the store. Really hard to find it, so I doubt the ratings here are accurate since you pretty have to try it in person. It is a fruity sexy oud, exactly what the world needed in a universe of rose oud combos! Fruity, but with that mysterious oud base. One of the greatest I have smelled in a long time!

I like this scent in summer, I don’t feel overriped but funny and good for vacation or just for the weekend. I’ts an optimistic scent for me, always make me feel happy. There is oud but it’s quite wearable, not too much. Sweet yes, but that’s the point-a wearable sweet scent for summer with transparent Oud. The sillage is big and lasts all day on me 3 sprays.

Lovely scent. I like the work on Miguel Matos. He always does all genres with a twist. On my skin starts out fruity and barnyardy oud. The kind of oud that I've smelled in Oudh Infini but held back a little bit by the fruits and flowers. I though that no way you can wear this in the summer. It was rather skanky which I love but not in the high heat. After 45 minutes the oud stops the assault and lingers in the back like a bodyguard blending in the crowd but never truly far away from the action. The fragrance stays fruity, I get the banana and coconut and just a tad powdery from the flowers (jasmine most likely) but the oud gives it substance along with some musks. It's rather lovely but I don't think this was made to be worn in the dead of summer at 35C.It's not light , airy and refereshing. It was made to leave a trail on summer evening when the heat dies down but it's still enough to have your skin warm and power the projection of the fragrance. I see this leaning feminine but not by much and worn on a night out maybe on vacations or on summer night events. It leaves such a beautiful trail. It has substance and a little bit of elegance. It's not your run of the mill fruity- coconut summer fragrance. Price is decent , performance is fantastic.

What is Summer Oud? That's what I asked myself... an explosion of sweet, tropical, mature notes that gives way to a very strong, very incisive oud. An oud that looks fresh thanks to the opening notes, but then goes back to being itself. This is perhaps what it is trying to tell us. Such an important and appreciated note can be combined with various notes, but then its beauty lies in its essentiality.

Minimal animalic Oud/Cypriol, fruity-floral dressed up & surprisingly friendly. Although completely tired of oud, I like the fragrance surprisingly well!

a fairly thick and sticky banana syrup, I can't really find the perfume in there. At first it's too ripe and then it becomes downright rotten. ☹️ barnyard oud
