What a pleasant surprise the new work of Miguel Matos. In The smell of LOVE Miguel Matos gives us his vision of iris. In this work the iris is mixed with slightly animalic notes, soft leather and strong spices, such as cumin; creating an effect similar to that achieved by Santi Burgas with OIKB, and following a similar path to that which Miguel Matos himself leads us in the perfume created for Acompora Read my mind, but with a slightly more restrained intensity. The quality of the aroma and the performance are, as usual both in the house and in the perfumer, first class. The perfume itself focuses on a powdery and friendly iris that is reinforced by those animalic and leather notes that give it strength and depth, and the spices that help it shine in all its splendor. I was struck by a moment in the first drydown, after about 15-20 minutes, when a fairly prominent patchouli is noticeable, but it only lasts a few minutes, returning the iris to the limelight. The perfume is called The smell of LOVE and I couldn't agree more with the name. I'm completely in love with TSOL.
