No 79 Cherry Vanilla Wood

It’s really good for the price I wish lasted longer , I love it it’s cherry woody and sweet . I would live in this forever.

Okay SO I got this yesterday along with the matching body/hair oil. The smell is glorious: the perfect spicy cherry at first spray before drying down to a woody vanilla. When paired with the oil I can catch whiffs of it a couple hours after applying. Without any layering, the sillage sucks as well as the longevity. I LOVE putting the oil in my hair (not too much), that’s when I can really smell it on myself. The body spray is really watery so you need to use a lot of it in one go to get anything, thankfully the company accidentally sent me a duplicate of my order (LMAO) so I don’t have to worry about running out. I’ve also seen this brand at TJ Maxx recently, so maybe in the future I’ll be able to find this scent for a discounted price and it won’t be silly to repurchase a fragrance that only lasts a few minutes on its own. I love the smell though, when I can smell it, so I won’t go too hard on her. I would consider this a year-round scent, but I’m also not someone that really believes in scents being climate-specific (I think it’s kinda silly).

If you're looking for Lost Cherry, look somewhere else, cause this is not an accurate dupe. There is something really intriguing and uncanny about this, though. Something that really defines Lost Cherry for me is the smoke and that's entirely absent here. If Lost Cherry is the gore in a practical effects movie (bright, slightly sour, burning), this is the blood on Edward's mouth in the first Twilight film. The cherry is artificial but dark, syrupy without being overly sweet. The base is very vanilla and tonka-forward. This is a 1980s-2000s weird kid vampire, simple on the surface but off somehow in a way you can't place. I wouldn't buy a full bottle of the spray but I have the mini oil rollerball; layering it with Sucreabeille's Black Honey adds welcome depth.

great for added layering scent, I however can' t wear it alone because the scent doesn't last very long (or better yet I don't smell it on myself). Its a great cherry, sweet scent, I don't get the booze at all. I purchased a roll-on (4) pack, for the price it's not bad. Would I buy it again probably not.

it smells like cherry slushie syrup on the initial spray but dries down into a less sweet almond musky smell. only slightly boozey. It's still so sweet that bugs fly around you wanting to bite you though. Lasts 3-4 hours on the skin so I have the matching oil so it lasts 2 more. 8/10
