Best Peach

Nose Note #124 A peach flavored something. I feel like I've met this peach flavour in some candy. You know, like if you have banana milkshake probably anythere in the world it would taste the same because they use the same or similar flavouring. It's like that, but with the peach. If you tried something peachy, you will recognize it. But if you compare it to a real peach, it stands somewhere apart, maybe not far away, but it doesn't feel real at all. Something just screams that it's artificial. After some time this arificial glaze wears off a bit and it becomes better. Though it's a fairly linear scent. I don't see it as "woody, warm spicy" etc. which is listed here. It's just fruity. And this is what probably dissatisfies most people here. It's just like some Avon with a good twist. Of course, it's not just peach. Under the fruity top there lies something remotely flowery, which is actually really good. That being said, it's not bad. It's just "pleasant", maybe crowdpleasing. Not impressive. My wife thought it was nice. And she is a picky woman.

While I have and like Gucci Rush and Tresor, I was on the look for a more modern interpretation of peach. I got a decant of Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach, and while it’s pleasant and playful it lacked the complexity to justify the steep price. Since the peach note there was very pleasant, I opted to buy this dupe. Like most Middle Eastern dupes, the first spray is a bit harsh and unrefined, but when it settles down it satisfies my craving for a beautiful peach note, with good staying power.
