Why

I've had this for a couple of months now and it's a decent fragrance. The opening deviates a lot from the original and any of the dupes of Y edp, this one starts with a super sweet and fruity bergamot, it resembles the Sauvage opening quite heavily, as opposed to the acidic apple found in the YSL. The mid and dry down are pretty spot on reformulated Y edp. You get this gingery, fruity shower gel type vibe with a nice tonka bean touch. The biggest flaw this has is that it's not as sweet as the original or the dupes, it is quite greener and fresher, some might like this and i do, i find it works better for day time use and it adds a more mature vibe to the dna. Performance is akin to the original, though it stays for less time as a skin scent, newer Y edp gives me 4-5 hours with 1 hour of decent projection while this one is a 3-4 hour performer with the same amount of reach, likely due to the fresher twist. I think it's a good buy for under $25 bucks, I'd still recommend Yeah! Man by Maison-Alhambra since it's basically an old Y edp batch for $20-$30. I haven’t tried the original, but this version has a decent scent and solid, average performance.
