New Study (Postcard)

When I daydream about creating my own perfume, which I sometimes do, its list of notes looks more or less exactly like this Postcard's. It has so many of my very favourite perfume ingredients featuring prominently in the notes pyramid: fig, all the very best citrus fruits, green elements, even a little coconut... what a dream! Combine that with the fact that I see Miller & Bertaux as a criminally underrated perfume house since happening across their Green scent last year and falling head over heels in love with it, and you can guess how high my expectations of this one were: before I ever got my hands on a sample, I was halfway convinced I'd found my dream fragrance. And, I'm happy to say, I wasn't disappointed! In the opening and early heart especially, Postcard is just as wonderfully bright and delicious as I'd imagined it. The citrus notes are sparklingly tart and juicy, the fig and coconut bring a subtle fruity sweetness to the plate, and the green notes are like a breath of fresh air on a hot day. I also get some mint, although it's not mentioned in the note list here, and that's a nice touch as well; all in all, it's like even better, more complex versions of two of my favourite Acqua Allegorias, Limon Verde and Herba Fresca, had a baby. So lovely, and if the drydown is much less exuberant, more of a subdued herbal skin scent, that's only to be expected with this type of summery notes, and I'll happily reapply. And for such a niche brand, the price is very reasonable as well! Needless to say, this is going straight to the top of my wish list.

SOFT coconut milk and GRASS, with a likable sweet and fresh start of grapefruit.... I t wont let you down after an hour on your skin, I believe gets even better when peach blossom and woody notes emerge with a hint of fig leaves... but still remaining CALM and FRESH... This is almost like a "POSTCARD sent from an island in the Mediterranean Sea" as it is descripted ... all in all, I love its CLEAN SIMPLICITY and being very easy to wear... maybe an intense version could become my winter day out perfume but now I should enjoy it only in HOT SUMMER DAYS... what I appreciate so much is the price range, making it accessable for perfume lovers! I give a 9/10 for overal performance, creativity and artistic packaging.

کوکتل نارگیل!! رایحه ای تمیز و ملایم... مناسب برای هوای گرم! عطر خیلی قوی ای به حساب نمیاد و لی من میتونم صبح و شب تو هر فصلی به جز زمستان ازش استفاده بکنم... به نظر من حال و هوای سفر به یک جزیره و تعطیلات تابستانی و وایب راحتی دارد... به راحتی قابل ست شدنه... خودم شخصا به سختی تونستم انجیر رو توش تشخیص بدم و بیشتر حالت نارگیلی مرکباتی داره... فوق العاده ازش خوشم اومده انگار که مثبت ترین و رویایی ترین عطر ممکن رو پیدا کردم... البته نمیتونم تصمیم بگیرم که دقیقا مردونه ست یا زنونه ست یا یونیسکسه... به هر حال به هر دو جنس پیشنهاد می کنم برای مواقعی که حوصله هیچ بوییی رو ندارند همچین بویی رو دم دست داشته باشند... تا حسابی حالشونو خوب بکنه... بهش 10 میدم چون واقعا دوست داشتنی و خوش قیمته...

This might be my favourite from this house so far - it’s a really lovely citrus-green summer scent. Starts with a super zesty and juicy citrus note, led by the grapefruit. Then the grass comes through, followed the fig and coconut. It’s round, green and a little bit creamy, although it’s more of a coconut water than coconut milk note. My main complaint is that like a lot of scents from this house, the sillage and longevity are quite weak.

When I first sniff in a niche parfum store, it was a huge mandarine sniff...hmmm very pleasant, I fell in love with it! It's citrusy but a little sweet with much fruity side. But not too sweet as candy or vanille...good combined scent for everyday use when you need something unique, high quality...Hmmm...good!!!
