This is how I remember the legendary Ted Lapidus Pour Homme back in the 90's, it seems more purple and powdered after a period of time compared to my current Lapidus. 4 sprays lasts a day and has good sillage. This is the best Lapidus dupe in my opinion, Lord and Landos are good and I enjoy them both but this is how I remember the boss. £5.25 on the Eyay for 50ml, incredible. Nothing beats the original though, but this is a damn fine second and can be taken on a plane in hand luggage! smell like a God on your hols.

From my experience...24 hour longevity, dense and heavy on the skin, warm, floral, just pure old skool powerhouse for several of your finest British Pounds. Chef's Kiss from me!!

Extremmmmmmely headache inducing to me. This is among those rare fragrances which I instantly regretted on its very first application and in very hurry to wash it out.

I can understand the previous review about headache inducing. Personally It was a pleasant surprise to find such a long lasting strong fragrance. I have Silver in the range which is a YsL Kouros clone and they are similar. Saying that my wife hates Kouros and silver, but likes this Night, Ted Lapidus clone. I find 3 quick sprays is plenty, will last all day and stay on your clothes. It radiates, I have had several compliments at work perhaps 2 hours in. Just be careful! Worth every penny will buy again when run out.

Many reviews compare this to Lapidus Pour Homme. To me, it is much closer to One Man Show Gold Edition (Bogart). Lapidus maintains a fruit (pineapple?) note even in the drydown of warm, dirty musk. This has no fruit note, but instead has a lot of cinnamon with that same warm, dirty musk, very much like OMS Gold. Even the box is similar, gold with stripes. For those wanting something closer to Lapidus there is Lord from Al Rehab, or Landos for a more coarse feel.
