Bondage Temptation Hommes

I would like to pretend I know what the olive blossom is supposed to smell like from wandering the Mykonian or Lesbian fields, smelling something antique and Byronic on the air and being drawn to this simple but beautiful blossom beloved by Aristotle etc. but I cannot. Temptation is definitely built around a note that I am convinced is what a flowery version of a table olive could be, though. The citrus top is nice, which isn't guaranteed with Milton Lloyd unfortunately, but this one is fresh. The base similarly is a basic and smooth tonka and woody thing, so whatever is of interest to me is in that middle "olive blossom" note that has been standing out to me. Mr Google tells me there is a Japanese patent JP4711336B2 for an olive blossom accord whose secret is a delicate blend of jasminey florals. I doubt this is the accord in Temptation, but this was a minor revelation to me. It is not jasmine wearing a mask, but there are definite jasminey whiffs that come from this, and they are lovely, and don't stop the overall composition from being butch in a gentle and leisurely way. More like a cup of jasmine tea, especially with the bergamot note, than a shouty white floral perfume. The snake on the front helps too. No idea what Armani Code is like, but if it's a fancier version of this I bet it's good. People on Code's page mention leather and anise which I don't find here and going by Milton Lloyd's notes I doubt you will either.

Love this fragrance, sweet, smooth, warm citrus, definitely smells like code, but this must be the only Milton Lloyd that I've tried that doesn't last, maybe it's me as other say it last for ages. Still worth a try

Sir Milton Lloyd did it again. I don't know how the 🤬 he keeps doing it. But he done did it. This smells fantastic, a solid clone of Armani Code with real staying power and only $10.

This is my first ever review - I had wanted to wait to review until i'd tested this more than twice, but felt compelled to review right now. I don't know if the fragrance from my bottle is right - it doesn't match any of the notes listed, instead it smells like stale chocolate and having looked at Milton Lloyd's other products, I wonder if the right fragrance is in this bottle - it does not smell like Armani Code in any way - I went to to the fragrance store to test Armani Code and it couldn't be further away from Armani Code if it tried. I may give another bottle of this a go but buy direct from Milton Lloyd as opposed to where I did buy it. I'm even going to contact Milton Lloyd to ask if they want it back for testing and I will update this review. It's a big no no from me based on this bottle. Luckily it was on offer at FragranceDirect at just £2.99. Overall 0/10 - I've never smelt a fragrance this bad - it surely has to be old stale stock that hasn't been handled well.

After spray smells nice, but after that you find that horrible stingy, nausea inducing, chemical note that can be found in Jaguar revolution. Luckily it disappears first hour and transfer more vanilla note. Quite mixed feelings, would be nice without that spiky note.
