Colour Me Flowers

I never smelled Miss Dior Cherie, so my review is on Colour Me Flowers only. Interestingly the notes I'm smelling are not listed here, but they are listed at Miss Dior Cherie. The biggest and most notable note is the cherry. It is not a dark, heavy, overly ripe cherry as in La Petite Robe Noir from Guerlain. This cherry here is is more of a red and slightly unripe one. But it's still very noticeable. I can smell the mandarin and a bit of nectarine as well, which gives a little zesty and fruity spritz to the red cherry. I can smell a little bit of a fresher rose and I can smell the violet, which gives the perfume a little powdery floral note. I would say that this perfume is more fruity rather than floral. It is quite well blended, meaning that the fruity notes don't stick out like a sore thumb. I get that with some of the Avon perfumes sometimes. Some of the Avon perfumes aren't well blended and single notes punch you in the face for the whole day. But here it is well blended. The fruits and florals go well with each other. Yes, it is sweet, but thankfully due to it being well blended it doesn't irritate me. With some sweet perfumes I can get nausea and headaches. Not with this one. But if you are not a fan of very sweet and fruity fragrances then this is not for you. As this is like putting your nose into a perfumy fruit salad. I can't really smell the pralines, but I can definitely detect a bit of light musk. I can detect light, green patchouli (not the heavier one) and I would say that some of the sweetness is also coming from amber. Overall I would say that the scent profile of Colour Me Flowers fits more of the one from Miss Dior Cherie rather than it's own here. I can't sense any pralines in Colour Me Flowers and not much vanilla to be honest. It's not chocolaty nor vanilla-y to me. More of a syrupy fruit cocktail, predominantly made with cherries. I like it, but I can see that it's better to not wear too much of it as it might be annoying to some of your surroundings wearing such fruity perfume. I'd say it's medium to strong sillage, depending how much you'll wear. But it's not weak. Staying power is about moderate to long. You'll get a good couple of hours out of this. So be warned, it stays sweet for a long time. Don't overspray and you should be able to enjoy it without getting sick of it after a while.

Starts off a bit, I mean very! sweet, almost a bit too, but it mellows out fairly soon to a very lovely soft, powdery rose and violet, with some white flowers, and a delicious fruit blended beautifully with praline, vanilla and musk. Quite yummy. I like it a lot. And it lasts well, about 10 hours my skin, and longer on my clothes. It's very soft and comforting. Pretty and sweet, and fresh with the lovely citrus, rose and soft musk. Very nice. And I love the very gorgeous colour and smooth shape of the bottle.

♥️sweet, heavy on the flower and praline, bold and loud. That's the way i want my perfumes a power bomb. I don't know Miss Dior Cherie but i can imagine that this one of Milton Lloyd is much stronger than the nowadays and definitely reformulated Miss Dior. Because the crowd don't want perfumes anymore just scented bodywater. Like a woman friend once said: I like to wear perfume but i don't want to smell it. ??? Why the heck do you want to wear perfume than. Just use bodylotion or body mist instead. 🤣

Definitely not like Fire and Ice by any means. If you want something reminiscent of that divine cent French Vanilla by Dana is the way to go, the EDP version anyway. I bought this on a blind buy and it actually makes me feel sick, I don't think it's a horrible perfume but definitely not my cup of tea. If anyone wants to swap with me I will be interested.

I confidently bought a 100ml bottle of this from ebay but found it unbearably strong and sickly. I smelled it on my sleeve a few days later and it reminded me of angel

If you like the smell of Ponds Dreamflower talc, you'll love the smell of this. The citrus in here is non-existent. It's entirely rose, violet, and a powdery musk. It's as if you've just powdered yourself in Ponds Dreamflower talc and then ate a bunch of mukhwas (an Indian breath freshener consisting of fennel seeds, anise seeds, and candy-coated bits with peppermint extract and a bit of rose essence). It's very strong and sweet smelling, and fairly long lasting for an EDT--about 5 hours on a good day (though my bottle claims it's a "perfume de toilette", whatever that is). The packaging is quite nice; a pink colored glass with darker colored flowers. I really hate the aerosol body spray though; it dispenses too much, and not only does this get overpowering quickly, it also runs out fairly quickly as well. I bought this to replace a more expensive perfume I used up while I'm overseas, and while this did the job and brought me nice memories, it's really not "me", so I won't give this more than a "like".

The first time I wore this I was thinking I made a mistake in this blind buy as it was very floral. The second time I tried it I didn't mind it as much and it won't be hard to finish off the bottle. It is a very nice floral scent that is soft with a slight powdery dry down. On another site it says this is the dupe for Dior Miss Dior Cherie, but I can't comment on that as I have never smelled it. This is one that I can wear but probably wouldn't buy again. I much prefer the Color me Pink which is the dupe for Tresor. EDIT: as the day wore on this got even better, smelled very soft and had a slight powdery scent. I would buy this one again, quite lovely. Kept smelling it on myself throughout the day and thinking man this smells good. It is long lasting and I’ve gotten compliments on this beautiful perfume.

I sprayed this on my hand at the drugstore a couple of hours earlier, then totally forgot I did. Later on I kept getting a whiff of something that smells like creme anglaise infused with musk. I racked my brain trying to remember what I had sprayed on (there are three racks of perfume at my favorite drugstore and I make it my duty to test them out one by one;), and it was this! I most certainly am getting this on my next drugstore excursion! The creamy musky caramel drydown is reminiscent of something more expensive, almost La Vie Est Belle-like(I have tested la vie est belle many times at the upscale mall if only to smell good for free!). The longevity is amazing, even after washing my hand I still smell the creamy sweetness. You don't have to spend a lot to smell amazing......

Vintage sweet but fresh chalky powder. Not so flowery after the brief rose talcum start. More on an fruity amber note, proud, luminous and dry. The one you can catch in an old boudoir, eating dragées. I like it. It makes me feel different, retro and brave. The longevity and projection are excellent and people notice and compliment.

Colour me is a nice brand it reminds me of bill blass perfume which is a nice fragrance brand.
