Colour Me Gold

#1211 in my "Tour de Fragrance" To my nose this reminds me of the gone but not forgotten Viktor & Rolf "Antidote" more than Paco Rabbane "1 Million" or Armaf "Club de Nuit Man." Alexandria Fragrances has kept that discontinued scent alive and on my shelf with their dupe "Counterattack." But any way you go, this is a great scent at a bargain price. I paid $11 for this. Solid EDP performance. Citrus, mint and cinnamon. More herbal and not as ambery as the Paco, so to me comes across as less sweet, maybe a little more grown up. This is a versatile scent for any use, anywhere, any time. Mild, pleasant and inoffensive. Unbeatable price, Good sprayer. Totally safe blind buy.

90% similar to 1 million edt, just lacks that dose of amber that makes 1 million warmer and thicker. However, this in itself is a lovely fragrance that women tend to love a lot. I decided to try this out seeing the reviews on Amazon, and they were right: this is a beautiful scent that you will buy again. To me,this does smell a lot like Paco Rabanne's 1million but with an added powdery note. The scent projects well for the first 4 hours and will linger throughout the whole day. Expect to get compliments wearing this frag because you will get them.

Very nice, in terms of being soft and pleasant, more or less unisex. It's not as articulated as One Million, note-wise, and not as niche-like as Cuba Royal, so it depends what you are seeking. I paid just over $4 for a new 3 ounce bottle of this one so I am certainly pleased, and strength seems to be at least good.

Nice 1 Million clone that is 90% similar,lasts well and is great value at around £5 for 50ml and £12 for the 90ml (which lasts longer) women seem to like this one even if some men don't.

This is my review for 3 fragrances in one; Colour Me Gold, Guess Seductive Noir Homme and Cuba Royal Cuba Paris as they are all about 95% 1 Million clones (except for CR since it actually came first). Colour Me Gold (~15-20 USD); Out of all the 3, this one takes the cake and is the 2nd cheapest. It is extremely loud and stays for a very long time. Best used in very short bursts, maybe scenes where you want to be noticed. Guess Seductive Noir Homme (~20 USD); It's like Colour Me Gold but less loud and doesn't stay around as long. To me, this one just doesn't do it for me and I'm gonna end up culling it from my collection, not because I do not like it but Gold and Royal already do what I want them to do just fine and this out of all 3 is the one with least personality. Cuba Royal Cuba Paris (~10 USD); This has a tobacco twist, a lot of people compare to Prive which I cannot comment on but this is the cheapest and lasts about 2-4 hours on me and you can get it for $8 dollars. It's best if used as a subtle daily. Although this is the weakest, it is honestly probably my favorite out of the 3 even though to me Colour Me Gold outshines it.

My first from Colour Me and Milton Lloyd, cool scent for the price and package (crazy atomizer). Strong opening, good sillage for around 2 hours. Smells good, great scent to have on your gym bag for occasional use. Couple of short sprays or one long from chest to the belly button should suffice for while and help you smell good during your workout. These are a good bang for your buck. 09/23/2025 edit: This is really good for the price you pay. Blind buy worthy if you like the notes

Scent : 8.5/10 Sillage : 9/10 not for a a long time Longevity : 8.5/10 (6 hours) really wroth the try especially that it's very cheap .. 90 ml costs around 8$ .. I recommend it for people who like Vip 212 or 1 Million..

Beautiful amber citrus mixed perfume. I don't know much about notes but it is sweet citrusy amber perfume. Fine longevity and very fine sillage.

First off, the atomizer is insane, second, its insanely cheap, third, its one of my most complimented fragrances???

Citrus and leather. Very dry and cold, great for summer. Not my cup of tea.

The price is cheap and so is the smell. Yes it smells similar to 1 Million but in a Poundland way - too synthetic, too sickly sweet and too overpowering. The aerosol propellent smell (not pump) makes me feel nauseous. The price is insanely affordable and some people obviously like it, but beware that anyone around you who has a keen sense of smell will recognise this as a cheap knockoff.

bought as alternative for a fresher One Million but found it not good very sharp citrus smell at the beginning and no spices detected

Crap doesn't last 2 hours. Buy an Axe body spray instead.

As Elderflowers says, this is very similar to Milton Lloyd's Pure Gold EDT. Both are nice - if you like 1 Million and aren't bothered about not getting a bullion style bottle, this is a much cheaper, but still very nice alternative.

A very inexpensive scent that smells like heaven and stays upto 14 hours. Very good projection and sillage.
