This is a gorgeous cheapie ! It might not excite younger consumers who prefer syrup and marshmallows, but it is a remarkably well made copy of the ORIGINAL Lagerfeld Chloe ! And best of all , it LASTS and has sillage that is gently present , though not oppressive. I can clearly smell it on my night gown this evening , and I sprayed it on 24 hours ago ! I purchased this via Ebay recently and am impressed . It is my understanding that Milton LLoyd is now making a claim that their scents last a full six hours . I usually spray my clothes instead of skin , and this perfume lasts a very long time on fabric. The Parfums Chloe version sold in the stores now ( of the original Lagerfeld Chloe) does not perform as well as this one, and is more diluted , lacking richness or presence . Hawaii is a dead ringer dupe of the original Lagerfeld version from the 1980s and 90s . I find it a million times prettier than Parfums Chloe now and far prettier than the “modern” or “new” Chloe that smells a bit generic . I have a good friend who has worn (Lagerfeld version ) of Chloe for years and she also thinks this is superior to the Chloe made now, which is missing some notes and has poor longevity . Now she is buying this one after smelling mine. This is my best perfume buy in a long time. I bought two back up bottles because it is so rich . This is NOT a dupe of the contemporary Chloe sold now , but is a wonderful dupe of the Lagerfeld version from the 1980s , which made my heart sing every time I wore it . My children and husband loved it on me and I received many compliments . This is definitely a retro perfume because it is a floral with no sugar , but it makes me swoon and is a comforting nostalgic scent . Recently I was stopped at the grocery store by a shopper asking me what perfume I was wearing because she could smell Hawaii on me , and she took time to write down the name of it .

I joined Fragrantica in order to leave a review on this fantastic perfume! I’ve tried most of all the big expensive brands and a lot of cheaper ones across 25yrs. I’m always searching for that perfect fragrance and well I think I have it here its everything you could want in a perfume sweet, powdery, spicy, little green and very long lasting Can smell it next day ! And for under £10!!!!!! It’s extraordinary value Can honestly say this is my everything in a perfume..,, when I grew up in the 70’s there was always an aunt or female relative whose perfume stayed memorable this is so like that type of memory scent it’s like nothing you’ll find in shops it’s so gorgeous and easily definitely unisex. It absolutely beats those ridiculously priced perfumes by a mile. I cannot recommend it more highly. The others in the brand I’m working on and are also terrific. Good luck & enjoy 💐

I remember the original Chloe and this is a really good solid dupe. Probably doesn't have the expensive materials but it comes very close to me. Milton Lloyd dupes are very uncannily good. They may lack something in grandeur (like a piano concerto being played at a railway station piano while someone is waiting for their commute home) but comes so close. You may need to reapply though as they don't have the same kind of staying power.

this is almost the same as vintage opium its so cheap and so beautiful its a perfect layering tool you can use it as a base then layer it with other finer perfumes it doesn't smell that cheap either its a wonderful addition to any wardrobe

Milton Lloyd scents are wonderful cheap thrills, and fun to use for layering if you are just starting out. A pretty retro white floral and modernize it with a dollop of vanilla or coconut. Fun for the price point

My first perfume when i was about 11. Maybe that's why i love orientals so much :)

Dear Readers ♥. After seeing alot of reviews about Miltons Lloyds fragrances, Ive decided to give them a try since everyone said that they are a great bargain style perfume. I purchased Hawaii since I always wanted to try Chloe but with my weird luck either the department store didn't carry it anymore or if they did it was always in a box and never had a tester for it and the department stores ladies selling it were the sour faced types that sounded like robots and saying " No try only buy" phrases. Seeing here that it's compared to Chloe and its tuberose dominant, for me thats calling my name since I love tuberoses and tuberoses love me, so seeing Hawaii available, i took a test sample and was instantly in love, so I bought it. Like most of miltons Lloyds fragrances, they wont last for hours until the wee hours. But when it comes to scent I must say they are crafty and Hawaii smells very beautiful, warm , juicy and heavy floral which I liked. The staying power was 1 hour and the silage was modest, didn't made nobody cough or faint thankfully. I havent gotten my hands on Chloe, but when i do i will go compare these gals and review my impression. but for now Lloyds fragrance line are definitely good cheapies when your in hard times for sure.

I have just bought it & I am trying it .Seems the opening is my favourite part so far with the Orange blossom notes , though I like the rest.. Very heavy tuberose, which is a likeable scent to me. I like that it 's very similar to old school 70's & 80's fragrances , which has "no sweet " candish scents or vanilla base . Beware this lady is very strong though not expensive , I just had two sprits and could feel it too heady and intense ; which again proves , that a scent doesn't have to be designer or expensive to be good and lasting ..I haven't smelled Chloe so I can't say anything about the similarity with it , but I know Fidji well and can't say they smell similar either ..Both are white florals but I think Fidji is much different and more subtle . Update : Loving it for every day use in Winter , specially at work so uplifting and cozy , but not offending to others .

The original Chloé has been one of my all-time favourites all my life, and I still have a bottle left, so I'm able to compare these directly, and I will say there's definitely something there. No, it's not an exact dupe - and longevity and sillage are nowhere near the original - but my overall impression is really good. For the price it's fantastic - I paid less than €6 for this, and the initial spray is very close to the original. With the OG being discontinued, I would use this as a substitute in a heartbeat. I did hear, though that the Chloé Tuberosa 1974 (from 2020) is based on the original Lagerfeld recipe from the 70s, so when I'm truly out of my Chloé, I'll probably fork out the obscene amount for that one (it's currently €230 for 150ml). In the meantime my Hawaii will serve as a glorious, inexpensive version for everyday use.

This is really classy. The first spray and first 10-15 minutes have me itching to scrub off, but I know better than that (now, at least!) and I wait it out. It's a rich, warm, spicy floral with a subtle sweetness. I like it. And it's inexpensive. Bonus. I haven't smelled "Chloe" so cannot compare this to that. However, when I was wearing this a colleague thought it was Rive Gauche (which I have also never smelled) and told me it was lovely, so take that for what it's worth. I'm undecided whether to repurchase when this bottle runs out but since it's such a great price, I can treat myself spontaneously if I feel like it. TL;DR: grit your teeth through first 15 mins to get to rich, warm spicy, sweet floral. Colleague thought it was Rive Gauche. Beware the Milton Lloyd pressurised bottles and apply sparingly. As always, YMMV.

I had Hawaii many years ago when I was at highschool. All I remember was that I was not a fan of it but at those times it was the only perfume I could afford to buy,any way I was young at that time and young people are more in to fruity and aquatic perfumes. Hawaii is a very warm classic scent. I remember one time I wore too much of it in the summer and our teacher got mad and asked every single student in the exam hall to find the guilty girl who had put on too much of this monster!

This has the vintage 70s/80s fragrance about it. I’m not being overwhelmed by the tuberose others have mentioned, but definitely picking up on the honeyed orange blossom and jasmine. Really nostalgic scent profile - giving me original Opium feels, minus the smoke and incense. Incredibly wearable as a unisex scent, just wishing for a little more spice to come through on the dry down. This one is def a candidate for layering.

Classy, in a floral-vintage way. Feminine but unsweetened, one of the best for such a price. The lemony flowers, the strong petal dust, the dry powdered feel, chalky, opulent, it’s really beautiful, and lasts the whole day long. Even when the weather is hot, heavy, Hawaï makes a wonderful job, fresh and strong, so feminine, smelling expensive more the really « diluted » expensive ones. Well done !

This is lovely, you have to wait for it to warm on your skin, very feminine and very similar to Chloe. My sister loves this and wore it everyday, great value fragrance too,

Hawaii is one of the most popular and oldest fragrances I know. Its incredibly sharp, intense, and warm scent is still stuck in my memory. It’s definitely not suitable for younger girls. To me I personally smell Fidji in this, and I kind of guess that's what the name was aiming for - a tropical classic floral type of scent. Tuberose is dominant and it has the powderiness of the Original Chloe - sort of a rehash of both of those scents if you will. I don't personally get Opium from this but I suppose the sandalwood lends it a spicyness. Smells a bit more like Samsara to me than Opium though. Very strong and long-lasting with a slightly metallic edge however which just annoys me and I can't wait to wash it off each time I smell this. A shame really as I love all of these scents, I just don't seem to like them mixed up together.

I'm not too sure about this one yet. I love Opium and Chloe but something in Hawaii unsettles me. I think it might be the tuberose. I am usually drawn to rose fragrances but don't particularly enjoy tuberose. I will give it a few more spins around the block, but suspect this one will be given away. Be warned: Milton Lloyd fragrances are pressurised so you douse yourself in the stuff unintentionally. EDIT: Awful. Gave it to my granny. It lacked depth.

Oh my word. This fragrance is so completely vile I'm almost speechless. I received this perfume yesterday along with another made by the same company (equally detestable), and not only did it appear to have been used before I got it, it also turns out these two frags are my very worst blind buys in my whole life. Not to be crass, but both of them smell like the oily juice coming out of Hell's anus. I threw both directly in the trash and will not be purchasing any more items by this brand. My recommendation: avoid at all costs!!!

I've already reviewed this fragrance below, but I just have to add that I am completely stumped at how some people are likening this scent to other really good fragrances. This smells absolutely NOTHING like Chloe, Charlie, or any other perfume I've ever smelled. (Thank God!) Could just be my nose, but I just have to warn others to CAREFULLY blind buy this one!!!

Not crazy about this and don't really think it smells much like the original Chloe, which I've smelled often enough as it was released when I was in High School. It seemed every other student, including my sister, was wearing it at the time. Chloe was a vibrant scent. This is a dull in comparison. The only thing they have in common is strong silage. Other than that, that's where the similarities end. I paid all of $2 for it after using rewards points on Amazon. So glad I didn't waste more money than that on this. Since Chloe was my sister's signature scent for a number of years I plan on giving her this to find out what she thinks of it. While my recollection could be wrong (I doubt it) I'm certain she'll know the difference. I don't think it's a bad fragrance. It doesn't smell cheap, but doesn't smell like Chloe either - at least to me. Overall, I really just don't like the composition, but then again, I didn't like Chloe either. Edit - My sister tried it and she also didn't think it smelled much like Chloe. She does think this is nice, but not Chloe nice. If you are looking for Chloe just seek out a vintage bottle online, which are still reasonably priced.

Didn't know what to make of this one, having nver smelled Chloe. I waited for the appropriat 15 minutes after spraying, but the tuberose was overpowering on my skin (always is). I've worn it for around three days now, tried lighter spray but it just vanished, and still had that musty note. What to do - I'm not one to give up so easily. I decided to try layering it with just a touch of Jean-Louis Scherrer, as that has a sharp note to it, much 'higher' than the Chloe dupe. It has worked, thank goodness. It has tamed the tuberose and given it a lovely 'green' chypre note, so now it's not musty, and it has allowed the floral qualities to develop. I'm actually getting the jasmine now It was very close to being a rejection of this one, but knowing how popular Chloe was in it's day, I knew it must have some saving grace; I now know it was my own skin chemistry that amped the tuberose to the point of distaste but now it's a very lovely perfume and I certainly won't meet anyone smelling the same as myself.

Right now, this fragrance brings me out of my comfort zone with it's laud, strong projection and rich femininity. It is beautiful, though. I never liked a dupe before but remember vintage Chloé and a reformulated bottle, too, and the latter had a very unpleasant note in it's base that made it unwearable for me, it reminded me on some sort of dirt.... I don't want to review Hawaii based on it's price because for me it's never enough if a perfume smells good for the price I want my perfume to smell good on it's own right and compared to anything it should stay the test of wearing. Hawaii is a good quality fragrance for those who like heady tuberose dominant florals. It's not 'cheap-smelling' compared to any other designer tuberose. HOwever, I have to find out if I can wear it or not. I'm almost sure that I will layer it with lighter florals or possibly musks and I'll see:)

When I was a child , my sister used to wear this perfume and it was an elegant perfume at those times. I used to wear this nice perfume on some occasions and it was long lasting and heavy and heavenly. Do you miss those beautiful days? do you remember how innocent we were and we were not worried about the hardships in life.

This perfume is the The most beautiful women's perfume in the nineties. It smells like apricot and peach. I think it smells like beautiful musk.
