Loves Me Loves Me Not

I have never smelled Daisy, but I thought that this would give me a good idea of what Daisy does smell like. I've worn it on quite a few occasions now, and it is delightful. The violet really comes forward on me, and it's so pretty! Today I sprayed it on my outer forearms (I know - weird, but one wrist hangs onto every perfume I have ever worn, layered on top of each other, and the other wrist sucks perfume in and it's gone after 30 mins). On my outer arms it lasts easily 12 hours and it's quite distinct the next morning. I digress: today I sprayed it on and I kept thinking 'what does this smell like?' I know I put this one on, but it smelled so like another perfume I wear. Around lunchtime, it hit me - 5th Avenue!! I went and sprayed the back of my hand and gave it a while, and yes, they are almost identical! I don't mind, because I'll just buy this one now, after I've finished my 5th Avenue up - still got around 50ml. Looking forward to Poker arriving tomorrow.

Just been given this as a gift and like it a lot. My second Milton Lloyd dupe perfume. My niece used to wear Marc Jacob's Daisy although I never wore it myself. This is very very similar to Daisy. Feminine and flirty floral which is quite fresh and not at all cloying. If this fragrance was an item of clothing it would be a white and yellow polka dot linen dress! Longevity excellent- still going strong after 6 hours wear.

I have never smelled Daisy and therefor can't compare, but I will review Loves Me Loves Me Not. This perfume is beautiful. I can definitely smell the grapefruit and the green note. I can also smell the Violets, which give this perfume light powdery note. I can smell a little bit of musk and wood in the base. But the wood is lighter and fresher, almost, but not quite like pencil shavings. Pencil shavings are fresher. This is more like light, uncut wood. It has a bit of a dryness. Maybe birch? I cannot smell the vanilla nor the strawberry. To me this is a light, green, slightly bitter (in a good way) and powdery scent. There is a tad bit of sweetness, but very gentle and in the background. It is delicate and perfect for spring. Due to not having the heaviest base it doesn't last super long, but at £4.20 a bottle I don't mind that at all. I'm happy to reapply.

I like this but unlike some of the other Milton Lloyd perfumes it isn't too clever a dupe. Daisy actually does remind one of grass lawns with daisies festooned around. It is very clean and the fruit serves only to emphasise the cleanness of the white flowers. The white flowers here are in the distance and it is the fruit in the foreground. It doesn't last very long but it is very charmingly winsome perfume. I can smell apples or pears whenever I wear it. Found out by accident that it layers really well with Monotheme's Vetiver Bourbon to create a very strikingly beautiful niche type perfume.

I bought this as it was said to smell like Daisy. I'm not sure of that (it's a long time since I wore Daisy) but it is a lovely fragrance. I wear it to work and have had lots of compliments. I don't spray onto my skin as it won't last (but neither do expensive originals on my skin). I spray this onto my uniform and can still smell it at the end of a long twelve hour nursing shift - physically hard work with a lot of bad smells! Impressive staying power and appreciated by many patients.

I think a have a personnal problem with the fruity smell of Milton-Lloyd. For me it’s always a kind of old vine-raisin-grapes, something I can’t stand. I don’t like this grape juice (perhaps this should be strawberries or peach or anything else?) I really enjoy all their other fragrances but I will avoid the peachy ones like LMLMNot now.

I ordered this as I totally love Daisy but only get it if someone gets it for me. I was really disappointed. Smelling it from the bottle is ok, but once on my skin it was yuk! It has a stingy plastic underlying smell that once I noticed it that is all I keep smelling. So sadly, unless my sister likes it, it'll be lining the bin.

Possibly the WORST "dupe" ever. Bought this from Amazon as I wanted a Daisy alternative and it honestly smells like toilet cleaner. I tried to like it - but it smells cheap and nasty. I may use it as a room spray or something. Total waste of money!

This fragrance is just like "Daisy" but much more affordable, enjoy!
