Miss Tutu

OK, I know not everyone is a fan of dupes, but when you have champagne tastes on a beer budget, or if you're like me and have a monthly fragrance budget to stick to, seeking out dupes is a great way to get more bang for your buck. Not all dupes are winners, especially since most for me are blind buys, but luckily Miss Tutu was an exception. I was working in Macy's cosmetics department when Coco Mademoiselle was released, and EVERYONE wore it. I never really gave it a fair chance because I smelled it everywhere, so I automatically dismissed it. Now enough time has passed, and I became curious to smell it again, but not enough to pay $85 for a bottle. I've read good things about Milton Lloyd, and at $10 a bottle, I said why not. Even though it's been years since I smelled CM, the minute I sprayed it I was instantly transported to that Macy's counter. It was incredible how familiar this was...Scent memory is an amazing thing, isn't it? And this time around I gave it a real chance. Immediately I pick up the sweet citrus-y top notes and a distinct patchouli note, but the patch is not overwhelming. After 10 minutes or so it settles into a pleasant, clean floral. I can't really pick out too many distinct notes after this point; it's just a beautiful cloud of juicy citrus, tangy patch, soft florals, and a bit of soapy white musk. I wore it to work and people walking past my office commented that something smells really good (I like to think it was me.) Silage and longevity are very good, especially at this price. And if anyone ever asks if I'm wearing Coco Mademoiselle, I won't be the least bit surprised (and of course I'll just smile and nod...No one has to know the truth!) So glad I gave this a try... It's a new favorite!

Incredible! Absolutely incredible! I have both: The original Coco Mademoiselle and now I have Miss Tutu. There is no difference, not even in performance. I am speechless. I am going to have a bath in Miss Tutu every day now...because I can...£5 per 50ml bottle. I don't even know what to say. What a hidden gem. Maybe for very trained noses there is a difference, but for someone like me there isn't. I'm so happy with this.

At first I feel a weird chemical smell, very strong, but it disappears after a few minutes and I'm left with a delicious and deep floral fruty smell with patchouli, very feminine, very pleasant. IMO best for spring and autumn, maybe also for not very warm summer evenings. It projects well but is not invasive. It's nice for casual to semi formal occasions. Perfect for the office. The value for money is great! I don't know Coco Mademoiselle, so I can't comment on it

I haven't smelt CM for a while however i've just received this today and one of the girls in the office has it and said that it does smell very similar! It's a lovely scent at a fantastic price! Will comment on longevity and sillage once i've had a chance to wear it properly.

Another nice fragrance from ML. An initial burst of lily of the valley, which i don't like too much of as it reminds me of shake n vac. It develops into a lovely fruity rose scent, with cooling aquatic notes with a hint of vanilla. Over all a very nice summer fragrance.

I love this fragrance, the price is amazing, it smells wonderful and lasts for hours. What's not to love. Smells just like Coco Mademoiselle. I have got lots of friends to try this and none of them have been disappointed.

An excellent dead ringer for Coco Mademoiselle. It doesn't have quite the same resonance but its very good and captures the spirit of it well.

I just sprayed this on my hand in the shop after I'd gone to get a back up of the Black Orchid one but it wasn't in stock til next week. Now I wish I'd bought one of these because all the way home I could smell it. It's a blazing hot day and I didn't think it'd be great for this weather but it is. I've gotten right back into gourmands lately and I've never been a huge fan of Coco Mademoiselle but I've never really given it a proper chance. It smells exactly like CM, heavy on the patchouli, grapefruit top notes, very much the Chanel dna but a bit lighter and fresher than No5 or Coco. I was already going back next week for the Black Orchid so I'll definitely pick one of these up for when I'm in the mood for a non gourmand, proper "perfume" perfume. I sprayed the Narcisso Rodriguez For Her black bottle dupe on my other hand and I can't smell that one at all now.
