Night Flower

I'm not sure if I've already left a review of this but if I did and said I didn't like it then I take it back. I love it. I never thought it was a bad perfume, I knew the quality was brilliant and that it would smell exactly like Black Orchid but I just thought I didn't like Black Orchid either. Well, that's changed. This is beautiful. The first time I tried it I thought it was too strange smelling and reminded me of a cheap perfume I had years ago but I was wrong and judged it too quickly. The dry down is heavenly. It's so strong for how cheap it is too, this was £6.50. I sprayed it on my dressing gown this morning because I didn't want to actually wear it but wanted to remind myself how it smells and I've just put it back on now and I can still smell it a lot. It's heavy, dark, slightly masculine at first but not at all to the point where I don't wanna wear it and dries down more feminine/unisex. It'd be perfect for a night out. I'm surprised there's no liquorice in this, that's what it reminds me of. Maybe it's the blackcurrant. It's in the same vein as Poison by Dior but better. It's got the same thick, dark, almost witchy mysterious vibe. Kinda smells like a hippy shop but in a good way. Not for people who only like fresh, citrusy, bright, clean scents. I can't believe this is a cheap dupe, I'm buying a couple of back ups tomorrow and getting one for my mam's birthday too. Definitely gonna be in my rotation of perfumes for the winter months. 23/7 I sprayed it on my dressing gown and hand again today because it's been a while since I wore it and it's still gorgeous. The opening is a touch medicinal and sharp but the dry down is rich, creamy, chocolate, incense, vanilla, and spices. There's no cinnamon listed but I swear I can smell it. I'm blown away by the quality of this and I love a good cheapy/clone but usually they're at least £15 if they're gonna be decent. This is the cheapest one in my collection, and it's by FAR better than some that cost 10x as much. In terms of the scent quality, sillage and longevity. It's absolutely beautiful. No need to spend Tom Ford money when you can smell just as great for less than a tenner. The dry down is far more feminine on me but a man could definitely wear this. It's made me want to try more by this brand. The few that I have tried have been amazing.

quick review otw to an exam: this perfume is quite literally nearly spot on to BO. I tested out both once my NF arrived and it frankly was 90% similar. there’s some intricacies and Tom Ford DNA quirks that don’t appear as prominently, but it holds up as a dupe and as a perfume on its own; the truffle and chocolate REALLY made me love BO, and here it’s quite spot on. mysterious and so interesting, yet goes just as well with a ratty band shirt and jeans as it does with a giant blazer and a leather minidress. I’ve been wearing it out in the daytime as well and it’s such a cool fragrance to wear, and I think the fact that it’s not as intricate as the OG helps because it just flows easily on my body. the drydown goes to the next day and it just smells so warm, I love it. sillage/projection/longevity go toe to toe, and everyone I wear it around loves it. and a hot take from me: I love the aerosol format. allows me to spray it on my coats efficiently and that saves me the trouble of spraying it on myself at times. very easy to overspray but I’m used to precision hairspray work so we’re good w that 🤭 for 10 bucks this is now a mainstay. ps: taking this time to also say that Angel and BO/NF are like cousins, but Angel is the sweeter one. they’re all both on rotation! EDIT: please layer it with opium. and hypnotic poison. or dupes. not together. tried it today with opium and I just about found a new hot girl pairing

I am a huge fan of perfumes, unfortunately, I am also on a budget. I travel a lot, seriously a lot. What I do is I try scents in the duty-free shops, when waiting for planes, and the find dupes (yes, I have a great collection). Last year (before Corona) I fell in love with 3. BO by Tom Ford, Elie Saab le Parfum and the original version of Narciso Rodriguez for her. I suppose my skin just thrives with these scents. I found out that the best dupe for Elie Saab was Creation Lamis Womens Le 'Soverign' that I found for less than a fiver on a website. Whilst there I indulged (LOL) and for less than 3 pounds each, I bought a bottle of Cuba (NR) and Night Flower by Milton Lloyds. Well, I was absolutely blown away. I love Cuba (summer scent by definition), I find Le 'Soverign' elegant (I use it at work) but NIGHT FLOWER rocks on me. Everywhere I go people just turn and ask me what perfume I am wearing (I live in Italy and Tom Ford is not very popular). Women, men. I just know that if I use it I get stopped! So I order 3 bottles at a time, of this baba. The best compliment came from my husband. I had been wearing Hypnotic Poison (the original) for some days. I sprayed some NIGHT FLOWER and he just said: you have upgraded from bubble gum to woman! So yes! this is my winter perfume for sure! The only downside is the terrible pressure spray. It sprays way too much product and you cannot dose it properly!

An incredible dupe of Black Orchid, especially for the price. Milton Lloyd very rarely let me down! The genuine Black Orchid lasts about ten minutes on me, as do most Tom Ford perfumes with the exception of Tobacco Vanille (again, Mac Velvet Teddy is a great dupe of this, so I don’t bother with the Tom Ford version). I bought this to put in my work bag as opposed to a Tom Ford, due to the longevity issues, and was blown away by the longevity and sillage. Incredible on both points. Also been complimented on it. Actually wouldn’t bother buying actual Black Orchid now. Do try it! Have layered with Opium as suggested by @dxjon and this combination is a winner, Opium adds even more depth and richness to the fragrance, thank you for suggesting.

Agree with Katemax, I too have had perfume parlour dupes of this, and this is the same, but to be honest this is a better buy, 50ml for £4 when perfume parlour is £8 for 30ml. I have had real TF smples to test, and to me this is a good enough likeness to never have to spend mega money on TF. As with perfume Parlour, they both have great longevity, 8+ hours on me. My work colleague wears the real TF, and I wore this last week and she said.....Ooooh, you're wearing my favourite perfume, Black Orchid.....thats brilliant comeing from someone who wears the real thing most days. If SHE couldnt tell it was a dupe, that says a lot for it IMHO.

I have the original TF Black Orchid but since it's a small pricey bottle I tend to save it for special occasions. As someone who loves to change fragrance at least once daily I am also sometimes annoyed that Black Orchid persistenly lingers on me and my clothes even beyond a shower or wash!! Milton Lloyd's Night FLower allows me to endulge in pretty much the same fantastic scent, with amazing sillage, still good longevity but perhaps not quite the nuclear fallout of the original, besides obviously being super wallet friendly. Total thumbs up for this one :-)

On my skin, upon first spray, I was utterly disappointed because some of the notes stood out in an unpleasant way, very different from the original Black Orchid and the way it reacts when first sprayed.. However after about 15 minutes the notes balanced out, and it smells the same as the Tom Ford fragrance. So overall I’m very happy with this perfume. For the price, I don’t mind enduring 15min of unpleasantness until the notes settle.

Brilliant dupe for Tom Ford black orchid. I wore this on a night out and a woman in the toilets commented that I was wearing tom ford. It smells identical to me. I cannot believe the lasting power of this perfume! This lasts longer than some of my high end perfumes. You can still strongly smell it on your clothes the next day too. This is just amazing and around £5 to buy! Grab yourself a bargain!

Having never smelled Black Orchid I was curious so I purchased Night Flower to hopefully get an idea about how Black Orchid might smell. On first spray it is sharp, strange, almost medicinal. I did not like it on myself. I sprayed it on my husband and left the room. Later I walked in and although he could not smell it strongly on himself, to me the whole room was filled with the most beautiful fragrance! Definitely unisex fragrance. It was still sharp, a lot of vetiver, bergamot, but there was amber now and a bit of vanilla softening it, it was absolutely awesome! Needless to say I gave the bottle to my husband and I'll be encouraging him to wear it regularly.

Ive never tried the original black orchid but had a dupe from perfume parlour and this is the same. I like it because its different to most perfumes around and my husband loves it on me. Its definitely worth having in my collection. Ive recently bought several Milton Lloyds as they are great value and add variety to my already varied collection

Dark chocolate, Truffle and a sweet fruity accord trying to work it's way in. Nice touch of spice and vanilla too. Lasts a looooooong time and projects very very well indeed. Leans a bit more on the feminine side of unisex but confident guys could pull this off. Can't say if this smells of Tom Ford or not but if it does, why not try this??

This is not a review for night flower... Milton Lloyd have brought out some new fragrances which are not in the and the latest is stardust, which is a copy of dior joy. Its really lovely and i just had to share it! Another good one is colour me neon pink, a really good olypea dupe

This reminds me of chocolate limes, when i said that to my sister though she disagreed with me, i must not have a very sophisticated nose. It's good though, longevity's average and worth a try for the price.

I've got a sudden craving for black orchid so have ordered another one of these to come tomorrow.

Huge sillage and longevity, on my skin this unfortunately combines to smell like tuberose.

I love and wear Black Orchid and think that Night Flower is not a dupe if it. Not even a cousin. NF is very strong and long lasting, but it lacks warmth, chicolate-iness and mystery of Black Orchid.

I'm not sure why I bought this. I don't even like BO. I was hoping for a different interpretation of the notes in BO. Instead, it's a straight up dupe and strong as heck. If you like the original, have at this!
