White Satin

I love it. It's a very light, powdery white floral. It does smell like something from the past, but I love it for that. It smells so clean and feminine. Strong in the powder and soap/aldehyde. I can see it being worn together with Chanel Nr 5. They would complement each other. It is not like Chanel Nr 5, but more like its soapy, more powdery, fresher, lighter sister. It almost smells like freshly washed clothes, but the clothes your grandparents had hanging on the line. I love these kind of vintage scents. They give me comfort and make me happy. Is it modern and cutting edge cool? No! Is it comforting and nostalgia inducing? Yes! Only spray a little bit and you will smell freshly washed and powdery. If you spray too much and you will smell as if you fell into a box full of laundry detergent powder. A bit will go a long way.

Whoa, this is strong, don't overspray like I did! It is hard to pick out notes but it's white floral, not sweet, so not cloying and it made me sneeze at first. It definitely has a hint of aldehydes but it's not like Chanel no. 5 at all other than the general 80s powerhouse concoction. I layer perfumes so it amps up the florals for me. Potent juice.

A real burst of flowers from this perfume. I purchased this perfume with memories of my childhood and spending time with my next door neighbours who were older people, this fragrance kind of reminds me of the woman. Sweet and warm. This fragrance really takes me back to the eighties but it’s a bit “heady”so I can only spray it once or twice on my skin otherwise I end up with a headache. This is a bit like other eighties fragrances for me strong yet feminine. I remember having a small set of others like Panache, Tweed, Mystique, Mystique being my favourite and Tweed, my maternal grandmother’s. These fragrances lingered on your skin for hours and for some reason I remembered them. White Satin is one of those fragrances for a clear spring day where it’s not too hot but where you want to put on your floral dress and enjoy a picnic and reminisce of days gone by. But don’t spray too much of it, it’s best when it’s not overwhelming and one to two sprays is more than enough. Try it and see what you think.

eeeeee love!! this scent is very very me. got a bit panicked when I first sprayed it because all I got was alcohol but the dry drown was so beautiful. if I'm totally honest with you, I'm not getting a whole lot of floral, maybe a slightly floral airiness? but on me its mostly just a soapy aldehyde bomb – which I love.

I ordered this by mistake thinking I was getting lace. This to me is like a softer powdery Chanel no 5. Very nice
