Ambre Cafe'

From the very first spray, Ambre Café announces itself as something different. Bitter coffee—real beans, dark and slightly harsh in the best possible way—wrapped in a floral haze that hasn’t decided to be “rose” yet, just perfumed air with a purpose. There’s alcohol at the start, but it isn’t screechy or cheap; it burns off quietly. About 10–15 minutes in, the magic really starts. On my skin, Ambre Café turns earthy and green, in a way that’s hard to describe except: it smells like freshly pressed crude olive oil. Not greasy, not foodie—just that beautiful, bitter-green richness that good olive oil has. It’s unexpected and very, very nice. As it settles, the florals grow more prominent. I can find the rose because I’m hunting for it; to a normal nose smelling it “cold,” it just reads as a modern, non-old-lady floral cloud over coffee and earth. There’s vanilla too, but not the cupcake kind. It’s soft and subtle, just smoothing the edges—no gourmand, nothing edible. One of the most interesting parts is the difference between skin and fabric. On skin, I get the bitter coffee, the green-olive earthiness, the soft vanilla, and a veiled floral. It feels intimate, sophisticated, a little dark. On clothes, the rose steps forward much more clearly. The floral character is brighter; it smells like a chic, modern rose draped over a café table instead of a classic rose bouquet. It doesn’t collapse into generic “perfume”; it stays itself. And there’s a nuance I love: on my nose, there’s even a faint leathery edge in the base, which fits perfectly with the coffee/amber/wood idea and makes it feel grown-up, not pretty-pretty.

A pleasant Intense Café clone, but ... the original is cheaper.

The scent is linear, weak, the ingredients are extremely commercial, after trying it it's not worth the money 💰, the coffee scent is not there.

I love the rose/coffee blend but I won't go near Montale or Mancera fragrances again because each and every one of them gives me a stabbing headache. This is comforting, creamy and just a touch lipsticky. The longevity is great and the silage is absolutely gorgeous. I might buy a full bottle.
