St. Incense

Really good cold weather perfume.The dry down dry state has some medicinal smell which maybe caused by being synthetic ? not sure, but that is at the really really end. Sillage don't know , longevity average, smell 4.5 out of 5. Only winter, end autumn, cold spring perfume. Or night out with whiskey and cigar. Could be good fit for woman due to balsamic sweetness, but also masculine, good for a men For this price, a niche or really close to niche, I think absolutely worth it, especially with discount/sale just buy it.

Ambery, smoky and woody Church incense literally Herbal and citrus freshness peaking through

Quite a sappy incense at first, like incense and fresh tree sap, almost piney. Unlike other a lot of other citrus scents, the citrus really doesn't overpower much here. It kind of brightens the heavy scene of the smokey piney sappyness. Imagine you attend a traditional Christmas mass after climbing a sticky tree. You've got sap still stuck on your hands, impossible to wash off, and the smell collides with the smoke billowing out of the thurible. As I probably already inferred, I think this is a very suitable scent for winter, Christmas time in particular. It's a bright, sharp, and relaxing smoke, reminds me of the feeling of a childhood Christmas eve surrounded by family. The great anticipation, happiness and bustling activity of your parents organizing everything.

A straightforward rendition of the (once-?)popular niche incense scent - see also CdG Avignon, Heeley Cardinal, Montale Full Incense, etc. How it stacks up would just depend on prices and availability in your area. Looking at the brand’s website, it looks like they’ve set it appropriately (i.e. slightly below the others). Where I live, those other brands are hard to find, and this one is available in their sample set but not in full bottle! Oh well, at least I know no one else around here will be smelling like this unless they truly just walked out of a Catholic church.

A very dry, woody, balsamic and quite churchy incense. I don't detect any sweetness. Being so dry, but also resinous and balsamic, makes this a very versatile fragrance. To me, is more leaning towards the masculine side; but a woman with a very strong personality could wear it; as fragrances "have no sex".

Smells very much like church incense, which I find comforting. I didn't get much else from the scent. Wore it on a summer day in the heat and humidity of summer, and it was not too heavy (though I was spraying from a sample and definitely under sprayed).

Opens with a ton of... orange peel? Huh? Incense and woods are there as a faint suggestion, hinting more at orange Angostura bitters (or the like) rather than fresh orange peel. Gone within 30 minutes, from my skin at least (2 sprays on arm). Never experienced the namesake incense here.. on any of the 5 or so tests I've done. :( (Fall and Winter)
