What I adore most about this intensive fragrance is the effervescent, sparkling aldehydes! They spritz on your skin carrying along the jasmine in such a way that is just effusive. After a few minutes, the aldehydes settle just a bit and bring forth a soapy clean breath of fresh florals. I can't detect, individually, the LOTV or the rose elements, but I can sense that they are there. The magic is in the blending and the aldehydes not making any excuses for its' leading role. I adore this memorable, indeed, remarkable fragrance! It is simply divine in its' complex simplicity. Sillage is heavy, because I love it and spray a lot! Longevity I find to be long lasting.

I bought Pani Walewska out of pure nostalgia towards this perfume - I remember my older female relatives used to wear it religiously. To keep it somewhat short - You may NOT like it if you follow trendy perfumes. This is a very classy, mature woman scent. Imagine a vintage Slavic lady (maybe 35 years old), wearing pearls and red lipstick while also having closet full of furs. If you are able to get your hands on the VINTAGE version of this perfume (around 70's), please do. They are pretty different. It is indeed a pretty soapy scented perfume, for sure, and that's due to the Lily Of The Valley note, it's incredibly potent.Though, if you let it sit on your skin for more than 10 minutes you will start to smell delicate powdery note peaking through and i'd say it's the rose, very subtle. I can almost also smell a hint of leather, like a vintage watch that has been worn with love. The jasmine is also there, but pretty faint. To sum it up: Strong Lily Of The Valley scent that turns into a creamy, clean soapiness. You will NOT enjoy it if you don't like powdery/green scent profiles. Overall it is a good perfume, but not up to everyone's taste. If you go for an actress in 20's vibe or a vintage woman in general - it will definitely be for you 🩵✨️

Когда я нанесла его впервые на тыльную сторону ладони, микро дозой и это было ужасно. Мне показалось что он кислый, горький и в нем нет ничего притягательного. Это было в солнечный жаркий день, в душном помещении на работе. Сейчас похолодало, воздух стал более сухим и сегодня я снова нанесла это, на запястье. Мне так нравится как он звучит. Прошел месяц с тех пор как он приехал, возможно за это время он немного настоялся. Это аромат утра в чистом, светлом деревянном доме, когда ты просыпаешься и сладко тянешься на белых выстиранных простынях. Круто

You have to like vintage white perfumes to appreciate this one. It's classic and classy, for me it's a mix of white Nivea cream, dove shower gel and white soap with lilly of the valey. Quality and performance are very good for such low price. Though after test I never wore it. I just sniff it from time to time to bring back memories of my grandma. I love it, for the price it's a no brainier. Cleanliness, time and memories kept in a small vintage style bottle Will stay in mu collection as long as it lasts.

Outside, frost and snow, grandmother hangs out bleach-washed sheets to dry on the balcony. Afterwards, she will starch and iron them perfectly. Perfectly, without a single wrinkle. You'll be tucked into bed and read a fairy tale. The scent of a carefree childhood and strict order. The scent of a life scheduled by the clock. This is how women without smiles but with perfect hairstyles smelled—women whose homes were all washed, combed, and ironed.

Oh yes, my lovely Grandmother loves it. I'm half polish, and I've spent most of my childhood in Poland, so I always remembered this bottle on my Granny's cabinet. She uses also cream and it seems like it's her signature fragrance, because no matter what you will buy for her, she always requests Pani Walewska for Christmas. Yes, it is dusty and soapy, but has this feminine - vamp bling. I'm waiting for more polish perfumes here:)

This smelling like having a bubbly bath using your grandmother’s old fashioned soap and then lying down in freshly washed bedsheets in a room with lilies of the valley set on the table. I love it. It has a very soapy smell, in the beginning it is more flowery but with time it dries down to soap. This happens very quickly too. Considering it wasn’t even 25 PLN I am happy with the purchase.

Bought it based on reviews and notes because I’m a big fan of classic white florals and aldehydic perfumes, like Chanel No 5 for example. But this? This is something else. Miraculum definitely smells like soap and white flowers, which isn’t bad, but it is a little intense. For some reason it reminds me of Ariel powder detergent, not sure why. Usually lily-of-the-valley is very faint and subtle, not potent, so I think it is jasmine, as it can be headache-inducing for a variety of people in a concentrated form. For curiosity and science, I didn’t throw it away and later learned that it becomes better, more powdery and more sophisticated as it sits on skin, but when I say one spray is enough, I mean it. Very heavy-duty and needs a special approach. Others compared it to Nivea here, and as someone who wears Nivea perfume religiously I can say that Nivea is sweeter, more modern, more gentle and a lot more universal than this one. And never causes headaches. I also disagree with Rabid here, because trendy or not, it doesn’t matter, as it depends on skin chemistry, season, humidity level and your current mood. You might be a lover of trendy Baccarat Rouge and like this perfume, and be a fan of vintage perfumes and hate it. But if time went by and it still stinks on the drydown, throw it out with no guilt, and don’t listen to experts who say you need to acquire the taste for such profiles, it is snobbery. Aldehydes are very unpredictable. But for the fun of it, is so cheap, it is silly not to try it out!

Okay so my friend brought this to me from Poland when she found out I was getting into perfume. Unfortunately, the aldehydes don't really give me that fresh / frosty / ozoney vibe that i was looking for. It turns powdery / stuffy / old lady on my skin. So I keep it as a room freshener in a pinch. I spritzed an area on the carpet near the shoes by the front door, and let me tell you- this fragrance over powers everything. I can't say it performs like this on my skin, but on fabric, it lasts FOREVER and the sillage is like, several feet. I even tried to clean it / cover it up with other things, and this still persists through the entire apartment lol! I guess this would come in handy for stinky shoes, gym bags, or smelly bathroom moments.

It is just not good fragrance. This is shortest I can say about it. ps. They do another fragrances called "Byc moze"/Maybe or so/ but they were only popular years ago, because there were times they couldn't buy any fragrances at all, and it was popular in Russia, but they smell cheap-all versions of this fragrance.

Just smelled it again today, it killed me one more time... And I went to the store with such a positive attitude! Maybe not positive enough... Respect to those ladies on whose skin it smells elegant though.

This is the original in the series. I don't like it, it is very musty. The Gold flanker though is really nice, a warm white floral, a bit soapy but for a few Euro it is very good.

I dont like to wear it and will never do but reminds me my mom shelf with perfumes next to pyramid from Lancome. I cant imagine someone wearing it these days NOOOOOO

I don't like this classic version, too much aldehydes. Better try newest modern creations - 'gold' version and best in range 'sweet romance'. Gems.

Hard to find, imported from Poland, New 30 ml, Starts good, but lasts for 5 min, Gold version is much longer lasting and pleasant.

So I have the honour to be the first to review this classic, that was only added now. What can I say, I have heard a lot about this iconic perfume many women wore in my country. Pani (Madam)Walewska,charismatic polish countess, known to break hearts of many famous men, including Napoleon...I have finally bought this last century looking lovely bottle of orignal-blue-Pani Walewska. It turned out to be so very different from what i expected-a blind purchase of course. It's one of not many perfumes I had to give away to someone who now appreciates it. Powdery, iris, moss, flowers but so dusty...soapy...Maybe I am not familiar with this time and fashion and type of fragrances. It was wearing me, sillage is strong, stays close to body but oh so long. I am waiting to see other reviews of those who like this perfume, as I know of a few dignified women who used to admire it.

I remember this classic frag as elegant, mature-floral, yet pretty enough to be worn by younger generation. I just got a new bottle and I can’t help to feel like I just had a bath fuelled with vintage soap, the fragrant kind of soap that my mum used to put in the linen cabinet. I still get the Lily of the Valley and Jasmine, very little rose to my nose; the lathery aldehydes though are on top, behind and beneath everything else. I would like them to compliment the delicate florals, not cover them up with soapy foam. The frag is not unpleasant, it gives that ‘fresh from the shower’ feeling that lasts and lasts, and some may find that very appealing. For me personally it has lost its charm that I remember from when I was really young. Still, I will wear it for a long day in the office or a longer car jurney to keep feeling fresh.

It's not refined or delicate but it is an interesting mix of clean snap and some indoles that impart a light skankiness. It genuinely has a soiree at the Palace of the People communist charm. It makes a good layer for other bargain classics such as Blue Grass, which is quite sweet and delicate in comparison, but could use MORE aldehydes. Pani Walewska dry down has no earthy notes. It still smells like soap and still has some cooling aldehydes. You can bury your nose in a fresh spray and it's shocking, unique and not exactly pleasant. A slap! But if you spray a tiny bit and aim lower on the body, it smells good in the air. Overall, a fair fragrance experience for 2 dollars.
