One of my absolute favorites! I initially discovered this brand at a shop in Tokyo back in 2018. Maybe it's just the scent memory of my trip to Japan that keeps me totally enchanted by this fragrance, but I find it to be complex, warm and intoxicating. It lasts for ages on my skin and clothing without having to overspray at all. There's a dry, pencil-shaving quality in the opening and then it dries down to a warm, spicy, enveloping amber. Not too sweet, either. I find that it's best to wear in the cooler months.

On me this smells like the lovechild of Mugler’s Angel and YSL Libre. The sweet chocolate patchouli base is there but freshened up by lavender and citrus. A bit spicy, a bit boozy and not cloyingly sweet. To me, perfectly unisex. Very nice autumn fragrance!

Honestly, this is not really oriental, it’s gourmand. I don’t really like gourmand notes, so it’s not my favorite, but I can tell the perfume itself is well-made. The genre could be called vintage, but the scent itself is more of a modern interpretation than truly vintage.
