I've always been a reader of this site for years and never left any reviews until now, cos there's so much I wanted to say about this perfume I had to register an account! This was a blind buy since I love woody incense unisex notes. The first test spray was a huge slap on my face, it was so smoky I mean 2nd hand cigaratte smoke, how would a perfumer came up with this idea? I couldn't tolerate people who smells like cig, then it transited into an ashtray scent, with burnt paper and mosquito coil ashes in it, holy, I was so upset and regretful. And I know I couldn't resell it because of how it smells. The next day I used that to spray my bathroom. After an hour I walked by and smelled something so beautiful it was like visiting a secret temple with no tourists, so warm and comforting. I didn't know what that was until I realized it was the Og perfume. Whoa! What just happened? Dang i'm in love, so i gave it a second chance, it was amazingly welcoming, slightly sweet and powdery, it's so unique and sacred, all those nasty feelings were gone, I didn't know why, maybe it works well with my body temperature. I've never seen a perfume that actually has a character. Luckily I didn't toss it away. MB's fragrances are giving me surprises lately, not bad.

To me, this a warm, soft, smoky vanilla fragrance. It reminds me so much of Alghabra's King of Flowers - but softer. Its creaminess makes it such an easy wear for vanilla/gourmand lovers. Bought it right away.

I sense a dandy, mature sense of ease in it. The fragrance itself is wonderful, of course, but to truly grasp its essence, you need to watch the film as well. You can even experience it on YouTube. “ESSE EST PERCIPI” (“To be is to be perceived”) serves as the central theme.
