Blue Star

Although it is not listed as a note (at least not on here) I can clearly smell patchouli. Blue Star is a tamer version of Angel (especially, as others have mentioned, in the opening). It's not as "moldy" or intense, nevertheless you get nearly the same dry-down and a lot of bang for you buck. Lasting power is incredible with moderate sillage (depending on how much you put on). Very nice alternative for those who think the Angel EDT isn't quite the right thing in comparison to the EDP and also for those who want to test-drive a little more before fully committing. To all Angel lovers: This is this cheaper twin of it! Exactly the same! Costs only 10 Euros for 75ml. But not that intensive, more wearable than Angel. The lasting power is ok.

This is very similar to "Angel" without the heavy patchouli-assault. I used to love "Angel" until a colleague started to wear it and I had to experience how the surrounding people were forced to smell it as well. Since then I have been looking for a lighter alternative. Miro "Star" is only half as strong. It's a sweet gourmand with some light, fresh traces of some juicy fruits in the top notes. It is rather sweet but, containing no patchouli, I don't find it sickening- sweet or stuffy. Miro Star smells mostly of coconut and cocoa; it is a rather warm and comforting fragrance. I find this a nice fragrance in the colder months, if I need a little warmth to cuddle into. I can't imagine wearing this in spring or summer.

I got a bottle of this completely by chance and I can easily say this is a tamer duplicate for Angel. I like the idea of "Angel" even though said fragrance has a too big of a presence for my liking, but my skin just doesn't agree with patchouli at all. So I simply can't dare use it. But this I can wear with a very light hand... the opening is calmer than Angel, the rest of the experience remains more or less equal to the original. The sillage can get enourmous if you apply too much so emphasis on the "light hand". Great longevity too. Where I live the fall is slowly creeping in and the days are getting cooler, so this made a perfect comfort scent.
