Babe Heat

I can see the Angel Mugler vein in this absolutely. It wears kinda close to the skin if I don't overspray. I'm testing it in the Greek heat right now and it's lovely. I expected it to be sour by the pear and aldehydic by the coconut as coconut can be in some unisex scents but it's far from sour and aldehydic thank God. I expected a sour high pitched scent like Tigre d'Eau 22.1 by Pierre Guillaume Paris /White Tiger by the Dua even tho that one has coconut water being a sour ambroxan type of note. Plus I was certain it'd be alcoholic balsamic bitter, a bit nauseating as most of the alcoholic green scents are to me even tho I like them, something along the lines of bbw Moonlit Martini with the gin or Beyonce Pulse with the Curacao. This is nothing like the aforementioned scents. This is so nice, green and sweet, with a refreshing opening from the pear and tequila, only a tad balsamic in the opening and at the drydown but nothing nauseating or bitter alcoholic. I'm guessing it's a ripe sweet pear here, not the unripe salty green sour pear of let's say JPG La Belle. The coconut makes it juicy, tropical and sweet it doesn't dominate tho. It's not fresh aquatic, but aquatic in a vanilla -sweet way and green the way Pepe Jeans Celebrate is green and so deliciously sweet, yes almost syrupy as one reviewer said and it's thick, it has depth. In the opening and throughout I smell the fresh earthy fizzy patchouli spice sweetened by its surrounding notes. Less fizzy at the drydown, kinda minty in the opening. It makes the scent sophisticated and a bit perfumey. Some of its elements in the opening and drydown like the syrupy balsamic aquatic green aspect with the tonka remind me of a much much lighter less balsamic Celebrate, but the latter is a different scent essentially, no patch spice and it's deeper, very very balsamic and nutty - more gourmand. This is smooth, nothing sour and it's delicious by the tonka which gives it more body. At the drydown it becomes more green as the patchouli blooms more with its earthy spicy botanical aroma and that's the trait reminiscent of the Angel Mugler fruity flanker or even the later drydown of the OG Angel the EDT because of how Mugler pairs the patch spice with aquatic and gourmand sweet notes, but of course Babe Heat is much much lighter. Angel's patchouli and woody notes are too intense and sharp. The edp Angel also has coconut and tonka so Heat babe is in that league. The drydown is still deliciously vanilla- sweet and a bit aquatic. The floral part of it must be jasmine at least that's what I smell with the smooth dirty patch spice at the drydown. The later final stage is more grown-up due to the patch spice yet it's smooth and not obnoxious while the initial sweetness is still the main focus. It becomes a lovely sweet skin scent. I regret buying the travel size. To me it's feminine but whatever floats your boat, maybe a man can pull it off too! At first it seemed to me like a nondescript scent but within 3 hours of testing it I discovered and understood its unique character. I'd also consider it in the same sweet spicy fresh league as Watermelon Shine Copper Still which is a bit more masculine and spicy but both are lovely refreshing sweet skin scents.

A nice mix of pear, vanilla and tequila. It is quite sweet and and lasts a long time. Perfect summer fragrance.

Sweet summery fragrance. It reminds me of being on holiday on the beach. It's a 'happy' scent imo.

This smells better than expected. It really does smell like sweet delicious pear tequila but I can barely smell the coconut. Longevity and sillage is decent but could be better of course. Just a fun teenage scent. I got the small 10ml bottle and will happily use it but not sure I would get a bigger bottle after I finish it.

I got this along with a few other "babe's" and it's nice, but I'm not in love. It reminds me of a Vince Camuto (one of the Bella's) or generic tropical floral. It's solar & a little salty so I think that is the tequila? I do get the pear which I'm not usually a fan of but it's done nicely here actually... not overly ripe and in your face like some pear can be. The florals are tropical & creamy (vanilla enhancing this) but I'm not getting tonka and I'm ok with that. The patchouli is there for sure and give it a little darkness and depth... a little dirtiness too. Smells Arabian. I could see how a man would like this on his woman... not my husbands preferred kind of scent on me unfortunately so I'll have to wear it sparingly.
