Babe Power

Hmm interesting I definitely get a burnt cotton candy note not sure about the fruity notes that are mentioned though. It is definitely sweet and has pretty decent sillage. I wore it on a warm day and it's projected pretty good. I would say if you like burnt cotton candy scents definitely give it a try. However though definitely a cooler weather scent but if your want to smell fun why not all seasons. 🥰 It lasted for around 3 hours with strong projection and maybe a little on the 4 hour mark but with moderate sillage here and there but sticks to the clothes all day without sillage after that 4 hour mark. However, for the price it is good I mean $19.99 for 80ml at Chemist Warehouse c'mon now. Tested it out another day and my sister said it smells like a strawberry milkshake or the strawberry flavour from the neapolitan ice cream.🥰. - I wore this another day and it actually lasted longer definitely more than 4 hours with moderate sillage but it is noticeable to me as I could smell it wrapping around me. I was on a bus and it was hot and all I could smell around me was cotton candy. :) - Lastly many months later I kind of don't like this. It is a bit stuffy even with only a few sprays. If you spray less it goes unnoticeable.

I've never tried Babe Power on my skin, but my daughter has a bottle of this. Every time she wears this, I follow her sniffing the air around her, it smells so good on her! Leaves a nice aura, it's fluffy and powdery with a hint of fruit, like baby powder with vanilla and cherry extract. The name gives a hint: it does smell like baby powder. The bottle is funny but does not match with the scent. The best season for Babe Power is winter. I think it is fit for office use, it's soft and pleasant, not a heavy hitter. If you want a gift to a young lady (or for anyone who loves baby powder type of scents), this is worth testing, it's more unique than many other fragrances targeted for young women.

It’s nice. Kind of easy reach type of fragrance, I have had mine for a few years now and still have lots left. For, a fan of sweet scents, this is pleasant. This reminds me of a lighter, fruitier Hypnotic Poison, which I love and used to wear a lot. The performance is as to be expected, not the worst though! It’s ok. The bottlethough is annoying, I have no idea how much is left and the sprayer sometimes gets stuck. Would I recommend? Sure. Wear it less as in the last 18 months I added lots of new frags to my collection but I still enjoy. I wouldn’t overspray or be careful as may cause a headache. Lovely fruity vanilla.

I bought this along with ‘boss babe’ and ‘babe night’ from missguided. Almost identical to diors hypnotic posion eau de parfum. This perfume has the exact same dry down just some added fruitiness in the inital spray. Making it more suitable for warmer weather without it becoming cloying. Baring in mind dior hypnotic poision eau de parfum is my all time favourite perfume I wouldn’t make this comparison so lightly. If you’re a fan like me, save your £££ and buy this 😍 especially considering this has impressive lasting power (around 5 hours)

This Babe Power in a pretty metallic pink can has a sense of humor about itself and is a very sweetly wearable hypnotic poison as others have said!! It really cheers me up. I tried HP but felt it was wearing me and choking me out. Not this girl! So yummy and sweet-fruity creamy. A hint of spice and very playful. My sprayer has annoyingly broken and it’s difficult to squirt out. But the idea is cute. I spray this on my clothes, pillows, whatever! Giant can of deliciousness. Definitely a winter fragrance for me.

I love this one! It is sweet and long lasting. It really smells of vanilla mostly but a very powdery scent. Really powdery to me, in fact. It does stick around and will overpower other perfumes (trying different ones at the chemist shop). Not bad at all and good value. Girly and fun. ***Update*** This wasn't good value for me as the can didn't keep spraying. I actually hate the can and you can't see how much is left plus the spray kept getting stuck, now it doesn't spray at all :( ***

Masterpiece! Divine, alluring, and durable Grapefruit, Apple, Pineapple, Rhubarb, Pink Pepper, and Sour Cherry are the top notes. Jasmine, Orange Blossom, and Peony are the middle notes. Cotton Candy, Vanilla, Musk, and Amber are the base notes. This one struck me as being really naive, comforting, and friendly. feminine, girly, and incredibly seductive. It lasts for a while and is sweet. It has a strong powdered perfume that largely reminds me of vanilla. This one is great!

This is a lovely fragrance. It shares many similarities with Hypnotic Poison. There are slight differences. There's something sweeter in Babe Power. Maybe it's the cotton candy note, it's a sugary sweetness. I don't pick up on cherry, it comes off more like an almond note. This is a great, affordable alternative to HP. And if the playdough scent in HP is too much, it's mostly absent here. Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 6/10 Overall Experience: 7.5/10

WOW this soooo divine, attractive and long-lasting. Definitely can smell similarities to DIOR HP, but in my opinion - less puffy, more innocent, warming and approachable. To me this is mostly a super sweet meringue, almond extract, a very mild sweetened cherry syrup and warm cottony vanilla. Sexy, feminine, girly... just so so attractive. For the price tag, it's a masterpiece - if you are a gourmand lover, you need to own this!

I’m very happy I can’t smell the fart, hot sock combo mentioned here in some comments. I am pretty sure I can smell an almond note that is not listed. Perhaps is the cherry that turns somewhat into an almony scent. In that sense, this perfume reminds me very much of Castlebajac with its prominent almond note. I like it and would wear it happily, regardless of other people opinions.

Babe Power is everything I've been searching for in a fragrance! Sugary sweet and delicious with a dry down that is vanilla dominated and lasts all day. I had been searching for a dupe of Dior Hypnotic Poison and Victor & Rolf Bonbon To me Babe Power is like those 2 had a baby but much lower price and better longevity!

This is absolutely gorgeous! Yes it does seem like hypnotic poisons daughter and that's not a bad thing, at all! I do smell cherry, a little rhubarb, powder, slight vanilla and this lasts all day and gets compliments. Well done missguided! I'm now curious to try out some of their other scents....

Nice one. Comfy, powdery scent that lasts when sprayed on clothes. If you like Pink Sugar but like to tune it down a notch at times, try Babe Power. It’s not exactly like PS but similar enough to appeal to PS lovers and anybody who enjoys wearing powdery scents.

I really like this. I bought this thinking it was going to be my car air freshener and fell in love with it lol. It's simple, easy to wear and fresh. I think it's a safe blind buy, safe for work. Any weather any day of the year.

While opinions vary, I believe this fragrance is a wonderfully underrated gourmand vanilla. Despite being perceived as inexpensive and perhaps youthful by some, its captivating aroma deserves more recognition.

It's a perfect winter scent. The tin bottle is cute and so is the name. It's a gorgeous and cosy scent that lingers for hours and stays on clothes for weeks. My favourite winter scent this year.

Soo pretty doesn’t smell fruity its more amber dark and sexy

My thoughts on Babe Power... all of those fruity top notes, I can do without. That’s where everyone is getting the plastic scent from (which isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but isn’t my favorite here). The pineapple, cherry and cotton candy stick around on clothing, but evaporate from my skin fairly quickly. It phases into something similar to JHAG’s Mmm... like a berry bubblegum with a heavy dose of vanilla. The drydown’s where it’s at- lovely vanilla powder with a gentle reminiscence to Hypnotic Poison, and a sweeter Valentina Poudre. I would classify this as a “playdoh” perfume, so you probably will either love it or hate it. I’m so glad I’m not getting any of that fart smell other reviews are talking about 😂 Overall a nice scent, although it’s very similar to a lot of scents I already have. For that reason, I probably won’t buy it again but will enjoy my bottle. As an aside, the name reminds me of David Bowie (the babe with the power!), but the fragrance has a totally different vibe! I sought this out to test for that reason alone.

I really like the Miss Guided perfumes, I used to wear the Boy Tears body spray a lot for work, and wish they made a perfume of that. A colleague of mine wears Escentric Molecule 01, it smells divine on her but didn’t on me. Boy Tears is as close as I can get to how Escentric smells on her. Anyway I digress... For me this is a really good take on Hypnotic Poison. The drydown is identical and I love the initial blast of cherry and candy floss. Yes the musk in this is one of those cheap musks that can smell a bit “farty”/“bad breath” if oversprayed. However, sprayed moderately or on clothing seems to be the key with this one. On skin the longevity is poor, but it’s about 25 quid for 80ml so go figure. I spray on clothing to boost the longevity. Appropriate for all ages, it is very gourmand. Will probably wear a lot as a casual “grab and spray” for work or when I don’t know what to wear in the winter. Worth a try, they sell mini bottles for about a tenner in the U.K., do give it a go, it’s better than I expected it to be.

Sweet, easy to wear and pleasant. Once upon a time I wore this out clubbing in a little pink mini skirt and strappy heels, feeling like a million bucks. The bouncer searched my clutch bag and pulled Babe Power out and tried to confiscate it because in the dark night, this looked like a can of something alcoholic, lol. I had to shine a light on it and spray it to prove it wasn't. This perfume always brings me back to that night, dressed up, having fun, tipsy, looking pretty... The first spray for me is fizzy cherry, marzipan candyfloss sweetness. Almost a sugar overload. It's easy to like and I see why it's popular. Rhubarb and amber dominate for me as the opening blast dies down. It's very unique and feminine. Then it just fades on my skin into nothing, just musk with a faint trace of apples and vanilla. It's not one I reach for often in my collection, but when I wear it, I do enjoy it. It's pretty versatile and I'd say it was suitable for many occasions. I like it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to re-purchase.

The opening is tart, sour fruits - I definitely get the tart cherry and pineapple, but keep in mind, it's the tart, juicy type of pineapple, not the sweet tropical pineapple. After the initial dry-down, it is pure cotton candy! A sweet, fluffy cotton candy, not the "burnt sugar" type smell like in Pink Sugar. As it continues to dry down, it's a sweet musk scent. The cotton candy is still there a bit, but more just in a sweet smell. It lasts 3-4 hours and has moderate sillage for me. The bottle is shaped like a soda can, and you press the tab at the top to spray the perfume. I think some people may think it's kind of cheesy and juvenile, but I think it's cute and unique! I think the opening and the bottle are what make this perfume unique and different - for a clearance blind buy of $5.49 from Ross I'm happy!

I received a sample when shopping at Notino and after saying I want to find an alternative to Nejma Nejma 7 (which I cant find anywhere and its driving me crazy). The woman said this has a similar vibe - she was completely wrong. First 25 minutes its unbearably sweet on me, truly like a cherry flavoured cotton candy...after that it has a similar vibe to Hypnotoc Poison, but first thing that came to my mind was Christina Aguilera By night, which I have used before. Smells just like that! Nothing special though, smells way too "pink". Nothing sexy about it.

This is Dior Hypnotic Poison eau de Nude. I wish it was juicier, fruitier, beacause I have Police and Hypnotic Poison edt. Otherwise it is almost an exact Copy of Police. Police is sweeter and has more Caramel, a wintertime substitue for Hypnotic Poison ( the old edt). While Babe Power is really sweet, but bearable ín summer. I don't detect much fruit, Just fruit and Vanilla flavoured cotton candy. Somehow it has a touch of salt,and reminds me of a beautiful, clean, young body after sunbathing.

Opening spray I smelled the cherry, the pineapple, the pink pepper, the grapefruit as time went on I started to smell the middle notes & now a nice cotton candy vanilla, I like it but it doesn’t seem to project much so I’ll definitely layer it with the body spray & another perfume with a cotton candy note maybe pink sugar & Anthropologies Vanille, but I do believe it is a good blind buy as most of my fragrances in my collection are

Looking at all the notes, I was expecting a tropical, nice,summery frag. That lasted about half an hour and turned into a cottom candy smell with just a little of fruitiness. Not great for a hot and humid day, but quite nice for colder summer/spring days when you want something sweet without being cloying. All in all, nothing special. But good for the price.

Thankfully I purchased this before reading about the "farty/Bad breath" musk review. This is pleasant enough for the price. IMO pineapple, cotton candy and vanilla seem to be the highlights, not picking up "farty/bad breath".

This perfume is just so nice the way its bn made the way the fruity notes at the top all blend together really well it's feminine it's cosy you want to kp smelling the skin on yr hand where you have sprayed it

A bit too sweet (for me) for the first ten minutes but this is a super nice scent especially considering the price! I love brands like d'annam et cetera but this doesn't smell cheap either surprisingly!

Babe Power reminds me of Play Dough by Demeter. It's not bad. I like it. It's a synthetic smell, but not in a horrible way. It's nice. I will wear it. I will not repurchase, however.

Extremely sweet and smells synthetic, but not too bad for its price point: powdered floral notes, synthetic sugary accord and a touch of nuttiness (cherry note I guess).

Love this one! Reminds me of Dior Hypnotic Poison at some point,very powdery and long lasting scent. Price point is good too,you can't go wrong with this one.

This is a sweet and fruity fragrance.I love the sour cherry note.It is a very nice perfume for young ladies.Great scent for summer.Rating 7/10.

Edit: No longer discontinued :) Reviewer 'sassa7' below has almost perfectly described 'Babe Power'. I don't find the need to repeat what she said, because I had a similar experience as her :) This is a masculine, extremely BOOZY, cherry-fruity version of 'Hypnotic Poison EDP' by Dior. Deep, intoxicating yet more youthful than other HP scents like 'Forbidden' by Police. This truly stands out among the HP olfactory family. It has a similar almond-vanilla playdough dry-down but with a masculine touch that I don't detect in others dupes and is the LEAST powdery. 'Babe Power' is a solid HP inspiration scent. It's modern and unisex albeit quite boozy! Definitely not a countryside perfume and meant to be worn in the city. Great performance on my skin too!

I was so excited about this perfume, I love complex sweet fragrances. But sadly, this has a very synthetic base note that absolutely suffocates the cherry and vanilla elements. The dry down is powdery and I can detect the caramel and vanilla attempting to come through, but again, the overbearing synthetic note silences them. Such a shame.

It’s basically a very light, fruity Hypnotic Poison. When it dries down it looses most of the fruits. I have the body spray version and it is VERY light, longevity and projection is really low. But the scent and price does it justice.

Not bad, just smells like a more synthetic and cheap chemical version of HP. Does not last that long on the skin. Your are better off to just get HP! But good price for such a large bottle.

Pretty, smells like pink bubblegum! Quite took me back to my childhood, rollerskating whilst blowing bubble gum. A fun scent, but not really suitable for grown-up-me.

I picked this up at Macy’s during the 2019 holiday sales, despite my full on feminist aspirations. I’m entranced by the iffy note pyramid and it has such good, if “missleading” ( See what I did there? 😃), reviews. I can always keep it well hidden, right? 😬 I’m not a fragrance snob, by any stretch of the imagination, but this stuff makes my least favorite Victoria’s Secret offerings seem comparatively elegant. It smells cheap, completely linear, and has that “teenage boy’s sweaty, worn sport sock, left under the bed for a month” undertone common to many seriously subpar, and I mean that in the lowest of low quality way, fragrances. I was also shocked to read the label to find, and I precisely quote, “fragrance developed in uk, made in prc” (sic). That’s right. MISSGUIDED FRAGRANCES ARE MADE IN CHINA. Not just the cute, trashy, dispenser, but the actual perfume as well. I have never, ever seen this, except with crappy counterfeit stuff available from WISH and Ebay sellers. VS, via BBW, at least has the good sense to make their fragrances in the US, though, as one would expect, the bottle components are made elsewhere. It ain’t France or Italy, but significantly better than China. Let me say this again. MISSGUIDED FRAGRANCES ARE MADE IN CHINA. In short, in any way that matters, Babe Power is nasty stuff. It is not a dupe for Dior or Prada anything, nor is it the best cherry fragrance ever(!!!). “Worst blind buy ever.” is decidedly more accurate. It isn’t even remotely worth the Black Friday discount price. $25. $45 is obscene. No more blind buys for me. This was the last straw. (Probably. 😂)

I bought this in October 2024, and at first, it smelled a bit off, so I let it macerate for a few months. Today (February 2025), I decided to give it another try, and wow... I had to scrub it off after a few hours because the headache and the scent were unbearable. The opening I would describe it like a sour fruity fireworks 🎇 isn’t necessarily bad, but it’s not good either—it’s just strong. Very sharp, acidic, and sweet, like sniffing one of those car air fresheners. It’s aggressively both sour and sweet at the same time. Once it airs out, it gets slightly less terrible, but imagine biting into an unripe fruit and trying to mask the tartness with sugar. No matter how much you try, it still tastes unripe and sour. There’s also this weird industrial, slightly sulfuric note lurking in the background. If you love the idea of burnt plastic cotton candy with spilled unripe fruit juice on top, then this is for you!

This is not for me. Misguided Babe Power smells strange to me, I think it is the cotton candy note. I get the same play dough note that I get from Hypnotic Poison, this might be a good alternative if you are looking for a cheaper alternative of Hypnotic Poison. On my skin this smells so synthetic. I don’t get any of the fruit notes and the musk is quite unpleasant on me. I normally like musk, but here it ventures into musty territory on me. Almond is not listed as a note, but I pick up a prominent powdery almond note. I am sure it smells good on some people and I honestly won’t mind smelling it on someone else; in fact, I think I would find it intriguing on someone else. But it is just too much for me personally, I find it overwhelming on myself.

This one makes me so sad. I love gourmands, cherries and fruity vanilla scents so I bought this perfume because it seemed right up my alley. It is such a let down for me. Initially you smell the sour cherry, apple, cotton candy, vanilla and tangy grapefruit and it's WONDERFUL. That lovely opening quickly goes away leaving you with a sweet, musky, strong floral. All the notes that make it sing for me dissappear so quickly. I thought maybe it was my skin chemistry so I sprayed it on paper and it did the same thing. Overtime, it continues to develope just a bit into a sugary sweet, floral, musky vanilla. The floral and musk are a little too loud for me with the dry down and development so it's just not something i like to wear.

This one smells super familiar but cannot place it, but it's very generic and have smelled it many times before elsewhere... It's synthetically sweet and I can't pinpoint any one note listed. I had higher hopes for it based on the reviews, but this is 1 of 4 of the "Babe's" I bought and only 1 is worth the $25 :( I'm glad I didn't buy any more of these because the only one out of them all that are worth keeping is "Real Babe"... Babe Heat is just OK and Babe Dreams is awful!

Not sure what to say about this perfume, the main thing I know for sure is I won't ever repurchase. I think it's that my body chemistry didn't agree with this perfume, the top notes were too cloying,intense and sharp on me, middle and dry down was non-existent. It's very affordable so don't want to be too harsh, I am actually quite convinced this can be a decent perfume on the right people.

Fruit-salad robo-Barbie covered in honey. The first 5 minutes or so are almost bearable, with fresh and sort-of-natural fruit and a honey note which seems about to deepen and get interesting, but after than it all just smooches together and dies down to generic and slightly powderier omnisweetness. Not offensive but so so uninspiring. Definitively dull.

When I smelt this, it was so familiar. It took me about an hour to work out what it is. Although the notes listed are different, it smells just like Just Cavalli Gold for her. I also find it similar to Aquolina Gold Sugar. Since I already own both of those fragrances, I will pass on this one!

This one didn't work for me. I like the cute packaging though. I'm not sure if I had a bad batch, but it smells like dirty wet towel for me

First thing that I smell is synthetic cherry that reminds me of cough syrup... After a while, it smells beautiful but I definitely wait a few minutes before interacting with people once I spray it on me 😅 My sister said it reminded her of Play-Doh, and I find it hard to disagree.

I tried it and I got a strong artificial cheap vanilla smell that you'd expect in the cheapest perfumes sold without a label at a night market...not for me.

I agree with all the ‘sweaty sock’ and ‘hot fart’ comments here. This smelt nice from the spray nozzle, but on my skin... ☹️
