Boss Babe

I almost didn't purchase this after seeing a YouTube review that said this was even softer than the original Missguided perfume Babe Power, I had been debating on which of the two I wanted to purchase and I'm so so glad I tried them in store first. Babe Power was so weak and lasted less than 20 minutes on a tester strip meanwhile this one was beautiful I left the tester of this in my handbag and my whole handbag smelt just like this the morning after. To my nose this is an almost exact dupe for Elie Saab Girl of Now, and I'm saying this after GON was my signature fragrance for over two years and I always own at least 2 bottles of it in my collection at any point as well as both of the flanker GON Shine and GON Forever. I don't see any at all similar to either Black Opium which I used to own but had to give away as it was headache inducing and I see even less similarity to Olympea? which I also own. Now back to this, this is literally sugary sweet almond marzipan. It's so delicious and intoxicating and definitely not soft on me anyway. It has ridiculously good projection and fragrance doesn't last on my skin and I rarely ever can smell my own fragrance but this left a scent cloud all around me. My boyfriend could smell this on me from over a foot away. And I'm stunned! This is so so beautiful, almondy and rich. It lasted on my skin for around 8 hours with strong projection and I can still smell it on my clothes after over 16hours and it's still projecting enough to smell if you are sat next to me. I love this scent and will 100% repurchase when it runs out.

I have the original (Babe Power) which I love. Boss babe I love also. In my opinion this is more daytime in comparison with Babe Power. I can really detect the almond note and it this scent has attracted a few compliments. Creamy, sweet, almondy with a touch of citrus. Lasts all day on my clothes.

So I was dubious when ordering a perfume from an affordable clothing brand but I’m shocked! I am not a huge fan of the bottle, it’s a bit gimmicky but I loved all the notes listed and for £15 I couldn’t pass up the chance of loving the scent. Which I do! It has a lactic note to it that is very reminiscent of Bond no 9 Bond St. interestingly I HATE that note in Bond St, it’s so prominent and smells stale, yet somehow this one balances it so well that it actually compliments the fragrance. It’s milky, warm, slightly powdery, lightly floral and gently nutty. I know that sounds like an odd combination but it all pulls together nicely! I like this more than some of my niche fragrances so I’m happy I blind purchased. I have only sprayed my wrists but the scent has lasted on my skin for 6 hours (so far!) and for the first 4 hours I kept getting strong wafts of it, since applying it I have been constantly sniffing my wrists and I really enjoy this!

I bought this perfume along with ‘babe power’ and ‘babe night’ from missguided. This perfume is a journey. At first spray it smelt very chemically? Sugary and heavy. Nuclear scent bubble. It remains sugary and heavy throughout (heaviest of the three perfumes I bought) the dry down however, the chemicalness fades away. It dries down into a sugared almond with rose and that scent lasts for about 5hours on my skin (very impressive for a scent that costs £30 for 80ml). Would recommend as a cheap blind buy if you are a fan of sweet, nutty, vanilla scents like me 👍 UPDATE : Boyfriend said it was headache inducing. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing lol

ive gotten so many compliments wearing this! I don't understand how you can dislike this! its been my signature perfume for years now. that being said, there are just better options, so right now im trying to find the best perfumes to replace this one. its great for younger people who don't want to smell like generic perfume. its sweet and inviting and warm but its not too much. I spray it in the morning, go to work, and can still smell it on myself the next day (yes only if I didn't shower in-between...)

I just ordered this but that the name said Babe Vibes and not Boss Babe. I googled a bit and they both exist, same bottle and same notes, just different names. Anybody know which i correct? Add-on 01/17/22: Just got this perfume today. It is very similar to Elie Saab Girl of Now but not as sweet and synthetic as that one, really like it. So if you want a cheaper alternative this is the one.

Similar to the hypnotic poison line, much more subtle though. Co-worker said it smelt "common" and i agree. Still a nice and safe scent.

I love the bottle, love the price, but there is just something disappointing about this perfume. I blind bought because it has some of my favorite notes. It does smell sweetish and of vanilla right up close, but there is something I don’t like about the way it projects. It reminds me of cheap perfumes, even after dry down.

I think the florals and patchouli are too strong for me. It smells nice but typical and perfumey it gave me a headache

I'm one of those people who are very quick to say a perfume smells too much like hair styling products, so I do find the opening to be reminiscennt of hairspray, which I detest, but it quickly disappates and turns to a sweet, creamy, woody floral. I personally like very few fragrances with creamy vibes, but I still can appreciate them for what they are, however, this one turns my stomach in the same way Far Away by Avon does do to the clashing of some of the notes with the synthetic amber and sandalwood. There are few perfumes I hate, and Far Away is one of them, and the 2 perfumes have some similarities. Again, I'm not just giving a bad review because I'm not a huge fan of creamy almondy perfumes. Michael Kors Wonderlust is in the same category, and I find it pleasant enough. This gives me the ick.

Purchased this after a youtuber recommended it and I checked the notes. Was really hoping for the pistachio/almond/vanilla but got mostly the bergamot/rose/musk. It's ~very~ perfumey, verging on grandma/old lady. I'm glad it wasn't a big splurge because it's definitely not for me.

A cross between Poison Girl EDP due to the almond, rose, orange (bitter orange in PG), sandalwood, tonka, vanilla -common notes, and Girl of Now, with their pistachio-pear deal going on. Rose, bergamot and amber here are game changers so its alot more oriental than the more fresher more almondy Girl of Now. This also smells lighter and more feminine than Police Shock in Scent at the opening due to the bergamot and almond, but Shock in Scent is HEAVY, smoky and alittle manly with the orris root. Boss Babe is same league as La Rive Fleur De Femme without the heavy cherry, jasmine and bitter orange that combined with the rose are too much, sharp, and too warm, plus the peach on top, damn heavy. Fleur De Femme is alot like Poison Girl only heavier than PG, its Poison Woman like I say haha. As far as BO, Boss Babe has no orange blossom, so no Black Opium vibe here since orange blossom is the star of the show in BO along with the coffee and licorice. Compared to Girl of now they have identical notes only this one has orange, Girl of Now has mandarin orange, similar vibe. Added notes in comparison to Girl of Now are: musk, bergamot, amber, vanilla, sandalwood and ROSE! Rose makes a difference here cuz rose, almond, orange create that contradicting melancholy element which is the core and signature vibe of these perfumes Poison Girl, Fleur De Femme and well Varens d'orient amethyst. The jasmine usually makes it even sharper. I prefer no rose (or jasmine) in this combo so the reason Girl of Now is smoother to my nose, more aromatic. Im not too fond of the heady rose or orange paired with rose. The rose and amber here come of alittle dusty and heavier, rose is always heavy to my nose. No heliotrope here tho unlike in Varens d'orient amethyst and Poison Girl, so heliotrope is alittle powdery. Boss Base is not powdery on me. The rest of the notes with Girl of Now are the same: pear, almond, pistachio, tonka, magnolia etc. Girl of Now has more almond in the notes and the scent itself, very reminiscent of Forbidden Police or Hypnotic Poison, so it is creamier, colder smoother due to the lack of rose, while its cashmeran creates a woody ambery musky soft base. Both have patchouli so there you have some spiciness. This one is warmer with the amber and overall a good option if you cannot stand how sharp/heavy Fleur De Femme is and if you cannot afford Poison Girl EDP or it seems cloying to you. The rose is intense here tho. Poison Girl can be cloying due to the base notes, I only own a tiny bottle of Poison Girl EDP, but its orange blossom there is reminiscent of BO's orange blossom and there is no patchouli so Poison Girl is more playful than Boss Babe and Girl of Now. The pistachio here, patch/amber add a more sophisticated twist, so Boss Babe is really a Boss haha. Its drydown is soft and creamy and the sharper rose and orange are faded. One weird issue with this perfume it burns my nose like crazy when I smell my skin.

I stumbled across this oddly packaged bottle that reminds me of a beer can at TJ Maxx for a discounted price of $12. I couldn’t resist as this is mentioned here to reminisce Black Opium. Now I will tell you the resemblance is indeed strong, more so as if Black Opium and Love by Sofia had a child. Saccharinely sweet, strong punch of dark berries with a lovely twist of heady vanilla. Quite a generic scent by today’s standards, but, at this low price, I’ll gladly add it to my collection.

Not as attractive/ unique as the original BABE POWER This one changes quite a bit. Strong opening of heady almond and a fruit-patchouli bursting forth. Then after 20min, i just get red berries + vanilla, very generic and non-exciting. Every now and then a whiff of a tonka-vanilla-musk, but not that distinct nor interesting. I recommend the original BP but not this.

Bought the wrong rollerball version (had intended to buy Miss Guided Babe Power) and found myself with this one. Applied it to my left wrist at around 1p.m. At around 8 p.m. the gorgeous dry down appeared. Worth the wait! A happy accident!

Love this so much ! Dupe for Elie Saab Girl of now !!! And at $20 omg can’t go wrong ! Babe Dreams is another favourite! Babe power is my least favourite and also doesn’t last as long on me. Babe Night reminds me of Black Opium!

I love La Rive's Fleur De Femme so I knew I would also love this one based on the reviews. It has a creamy, sweet, almond goodness to it and it has great lasting power. This was a great blind buy!

I really like this ! Long lasting , about 7 hours.This is a very reasonable priced fragrance and really doesn’t smell cheap.Sweet vanilla but with some depth. Nice find! Will purchase it soon.

THIS WAS MY SCENT!!! I would get so many compliments when i wore it but last time i bought this it was so chemically and was leaking red liquid :( i can no longer find it anywhere

I’m glad I found this in my collection I forgot about it cause I didn’t wear it much last year, better intentions for it this year I love the pistachio!
