Aria Missoni

I'm hoping this won't be TOO similar to Patou's Sira des Indes--I love that fragrance, but I'm hoping for something less dense. I'll update as soon as my bottle arrives in the mail! Update: Totally different than Sira des Indes! Same family perhaps, but the votes for Byzance are right on target. Not a dupe, but they could be sisters! Aria is awesome! Love the banana floral, it's exactly what I've been looking for to wear as summer fades. Not too heavy, I'm wearing it to work; fragrance is one of the joys that keeps me going when I'm there. (Deal with it.) Perfect accent for my vintage 80s outfits!!

I'm telling you, Aria Missoni is bananas! No really, it's bananas, banana-fana-fo-fana in a way I haven't encountered other than in Sira des Indes. Bananas hugged with Hubba Bubba bubblegum tuberose, drizzled with ylang ylang oil, soaked with fruit punch, armaganac and rose water. "Nice arms, Fruit-Roll Ups!" There's a peachier, lactonic inflection further in, and the tang softens like a Hi-Chew into a golden glow of amber and woody vanilla. This early era of fruity florals are quite fascinating, as are in between strident and playful, opulent and care-free.

I really miss having this perfume around. This was gifted to me by my boyfriends mum when I was 21. But I would still wear it today. It’s a little bubblegum like but don’t let it scare you. Aria is bright and quirky. It has a sunny personality but it’s not scorching or cloying . It is lovely , colourful and makes you happy unexpectedly. Please bring it back!

OMG, this is like eating a banana and drinking a good quality cognac at the same time. That is what it smells like to me at first sniff. Then somehow suddenly it changes into a tuberose ylang ylang dream. I can imagine Cinderella would get this from her fairy as a finishing surprise touch to her great outfit for THE evening.

Chat once asked my opinion on this..and I must confess, although I have a large bottle of it, it reminded me of the original Bijan very much. And the original Bijan does an even better job at communicating the message. Good luck! Action

One of the most beautiful perfumes out there! I used to sniff this all the time on my mother. She got it as a present and I used to dream that this would be my first perfume! It opens up with some sweet peach and banana accords just like a piano concert, the ylang completes the floral symphony with fresh sounds just like a crystal bell. I can also remember the rose and vanilla. Such a perfect scent embellished in love, this is how I remember this. Suitable for a romantic but courageous woman!It is just like hearing window chimes in a tropical garden!

Chewing gum tuberose. Smell like a perfume for pre teen. Summer Lolita would be the right name." why don't we create a perfume for little dames?" "Okay we can take the most sensual of the flowers: tuberose, and add all the fruit of the spring summer that babies likes, banana anc co., and we mix up!" Aria (air) it is breathless, punch the stomach. I love tuberose but must be blended with caution. Here is too powerful. To direct for me, and so fruity. It is similar to Blonde by Versace.

It was my very first perfume ;I remember a very sweet strawberry chewing gum smell;i'm sad it's not longer avaiable in stores :(
