Golden Rice

This is sweet and almond. I wore to a medspa appt and got a compliment. It’s not overly sweet but more cozy cream. I traditionally don’t care for gourmands but this isn’t one doesn’t make your teeth hurt.

This is a beautiful cinnamon/nutty, delicious rice pudding. It’s stunning and absolutely full bottle worthy.

This is a great scent. Performance on it is insane and I DO NOT spray it on clothes because it will linger a week plus. The opening is purely steamed, nutty rice. Think about sticking your head into a rice cooker after its finished with the nuttiness of the rice amplified. As it dries down the rice note becomes a little bit more tame and the almond and vanilla start to develop even more. I do not get sandlewood or woodiness at all. During this dry down you also start to get hints of a tiny bit of fruitiness (doesn't really project, more of a skin note). I can't tell if this is from the rose that is supposed to be here? I know the notes say rose but I don't get any, unless this is the fruitiness that comes through. The combo of the vanilla and musk turn this into a creamy, almond / roasted nut fragrance that is supported by a base of freshly steamed white rice. My only gripe with this fragrance, as a man, is that there are limited situations in which I can wear this. I still ascribe to the old way of believing in masculine fragrances. This one is 100% feminine in nature. Its too sweet and rich for the office, too gourmand for daily wear, and not sharp enough for going out at night. I typically find myself wearing this during the colder fall / winter / spring days where the setting is intimate - whether that be a dinner date, movie night, etc.

Just got it from mith boutique. It is literally a combination of fan your flames by nishane and madness by franc boclet. For some it might be almond-y, to my nose it is very coconut prominent. Coconut, rum, heavy-gourmand kind of vibes. It’s great and the price is waaaaay less than those two that reminds me of:)

Reminds me of Vanillary by Lush. The florals almost make it doable in the Spring. But I wouldn’t buy a fb...its aight
