Green Sandalwood

This is a really great twist on Santal 33 from its original perfumer. It’s a lot cleaner than S33, it lacks the dirty papyrus note which is my least favorite part of that scent. Some will like that it’s gone, some won’t. Its opening is very fresh and green, the S33 similarities are quite apparent in the first couple hours. Very strong sandalwood supported by a strong green presence. The iris really pops in the dry down, which gives it a really beautiful powdery nuance. The softness and butteriness of the iris here are apparent after the first few minutes, but the dry down is the best part of the scent. It really makes this fragrance special. Overall, this scent just feels a bit more wearable and easy going than its 14 year old cousin. This is definitely still niche, plenty of people will find this polarizing, the very powdery-dusty dry down may turn some people off. But plenty, like me, will absolutely love it. This is a great signature fragrance for any iris or sandalwood fans! I could imagine spraying this on a warm summer evening before a party or some type of event, getting that fresh invigorating boost from the green notes and the sandalwood. As the sun goes down, the iris pops and gives off this darker more mysterious vibe, totally changing the mood and taking you into the rest of the night.

From the first spray, it wraps me in a soft, creamy sandalwood that feels natural, green, and deeply comforting. There’s something emotionally grounding about it, calm, thoughtful, and effortlessly refined. It subtly reminds me of the woody soul of Le Labo Santal 33, the serene elegance of Diptyque Tamdao, and a gentle green freshness that echoes Creed Green Irish Tweed, yet it never feels like a copy. It has its own quiet identity. What truly impresses me is the longevity, this scent stays with me for a solid 8–10 hours, lingering softly on the skin. Wearing it feels intimate and personal, like a signature scent that speaks in a calm, confident voice rather than shouting for attention. Overall, Highly Recommended.

Great scent, but those who don't like green notes should try it before buying—it’s not safe for a blind buy. However, I love it. It opens with a green note and a bit of spice, earthy, but after 1-2 hours, it becomes powdery. Performance is good, lasting around 7-9 hours. This reminds me of Creed GIT (with a lesser green note at the opening) and Santal 33 (with more green notes), in a more wearable version. It's not dupe but just hint of those mentioned.

If you wanna smell like old, dusty books inside an antique bookstore this perfume is for you. It starts off soooo green, not the fresh kind but dusty and muted sometimes it makes me sneeze but I like the dry down a lot, very cozy and enveloping

My previous favourite perfume is diptyques philosycos and in some ways I feel like they share a similar eccence. A similar green calmness but while philosycos leans fresh, green sandal goes a bit powdery floral in a way that's slightly addictive to me. They're different enough for me to be super happy to own both of them, but similar enough for them both to be signature scents. I wish it got more attention because I think it's divine!
