Thai Tea

The previous reviewer is right. This definitely smells molecular, like iso e super. Very woody. Luckily I love that smell and I can also faintly smell the black tea in it. I wish i got a bit more creaminess, but I will be getting a full bottle at some point. Edited to add- 6 months later, I DO in fact have a bottle and it has matured beautifully. The thai tea note has really come out more and feels more creamy. Love this perfume!

I don’t like One Fine Day Thai Tea’s opening. There is something chemically that my nose picks up and registers as No when it’s first sprayed. But after a few minutes that fades and I’m left with a creamy Thai tea with vanilla and woods beneath. It’s sweet, but not sickeningly sweet and this is NOT a strong scent- I asked my partner to smell it a couple hours into the dry down and he said it was so faint he couldn’t describe it. I could still smell it clearly though, and sometimes he has difficulty with certain scents. That said, I sprayed it on my arm 10 hours ago and I can still smell it close to the skin; so, this has longevity, just minimal projection or sillage. I’m on the fence about getting a full bottle. I really like the dry down, but I don’t know if I like it enough to deal with the opening. I’ll keep testing it before making my decision. I’m definitely getting a bottle of the original Thai Tea by Mith. one Fine Day Thai Tea is sweet and lactonic while the OG is spice, tea and wood.
