Miu Miu Fleur D’Argent

I received a ~1 mL sample of this when it first came out, and absolutely adored the sample size. In the sampler vial, it was a beautiful, no, GORGEOUS bouquet of flowers--delightful tuberose (DGAF if it’s considered to be “outdated”) and as always, I am a huge musk fan. I almost immediately (next paycheck) bought the biggest bottle I could find, and was a bit let down... the big bottle has a SHARP damn near acerbic pepper note that wasn’t present in the sampler size. If you can survive the initial opening pepper assault on your nostrils, the drydown is actually really pleasant and will stick to my jacket for 2-3 days. The beautiful drydown, coupled with the fact that it has the strongest longevity in my (current) wardrobe elevates it from a "like" to a "love" for me and earns it a spot in my Top 5 favorites. I'll happily finish my big bottle, but I won't go out of my way to hunt another down/shell out big bucks if it's discontinued. Super curious to see how it layers with Alien Flora Futura (which is nice, but has extremely weak longevity).

Dear Zeljo, Why are you so malicious??? I have an other account, probably with 5 or 6 reviews, but since I don’t write reviews often, I totally forgot my username. I really tried to remember (I have profile picture there as well), but I can’t. I tried to find it by the Flowerbomb (I remember I reviewed that perfume), but between almost 4000 reviews my eyes getting tired... If you have time, you can do your own research (on the profile pic I am in the pool, pink bikini, drinking beer lol, and the username should be something like nikytls or niky_0122, but I just don’t find). Anyway, yes, I really like this new Miu Miu and I wanted to leave a review. Lovely. Moderate performance but it does linger on clothes. This perfume to me feels like an evening garden party by the pool. You are comfortable, joyful and casual, and just slightly overdressed. I love that it's so full of contrasts; it is sophisticated but it has an earthy/crisp vibe to it, like dry grass under the sun. It is youthful but not childish. Maybe for people in their twenties and up. [It definitely dries down into] something plasticky, but I can't stop thinking about bouquets. I've read comments of people saying it has a retro vibe to it, and I do see it but not in an "old perfumery" kind of way, more like a seventies-vision-of-the-future kind of way, around all that hype of the man on the moon and new technologies. White go-go boots, spaceships and a nostalgic scent of the last day of summer is what I get in here.

I really liked the original Miu Miu perfume, but I’ve never bought it... I really don’t know why, but I always felt like something is missing.... And now, wooow!!!! I just tried it today in the Dillard’s and it wasn’t any way back.... Fall in love.... Soft tubaroses and flirty freshness.... OF COURSE I BOUGHT IT!!!! 5 minutes later a woman stopped me and asked what I’m wearing. By the restaurant where I’ve got lunch, the bar tender said “hmmm, someone smells heavenly “. Sillage is EXCELLENT and longevity so far so good as well!!!! New signature for sure

Quite refreshing if I may say. It is quite a simplistic feminine tuberose perfume perfect for spring and early summer. I remember the first time I had a whiff of it and I couldn’t get enough. It is more a scent you would wear to spend your day running errands, not really to meet people. Side note: I met someone who wore this perfume and the musk was quite strong.

Such a low score...really? Ok so it’s not an intellectual’s holy grail of olfactory heaven, but it’s pretty, clean and floral and as an added bonus for women of my vintage...no sugary sweetness (some of us don’t strive to smell like lollipops!). I score this 8/10 for sheer competency across projection, longevity and bouquet.

Beautiful bottle. Floral. Musk. Tuberose gardenia fresh floral. Not very powerful but overall very beautiful. Reminds me a tad of bombshell seduction but less green. Very romantic and soft. Not a long lasting fragrance but one you could where any time and any season and any where.

sooo pretty. underrated gem!! sophisticated and effortless feminine scent. super versatile. its quite simple as well, which is a good thing in this case. I'm angry because no one seems to like it as much as I do. so what it's not groundbreaking? it's still great!

The wait is over. I gave this fragrance some time to develop, to warm up and to soften on my skin. The result was amazing. This tuberose, so strong for me at first, has released all its beauty and yes, I can say it deserves my attention!

It's a cold sunny autumn day and this jewel shines so brightly. Lovely💞 it reminds me a bit of Leau Bleue but Fleur is more for cold and clear weather, I think, while Bleue is for warmer anda rainy days. I love them both!

I can't wait for it to come out! Looking at the 3 notes, it is worth waiting (for me).

For me, it's more of a fleur de cristal (crystal flower) than a fleur d'argent (silver flower). "Of course I shouldn't buy it blind" was my first thought after application. Just another floral musky combination, instead of being close to the cold and unique scents of Narcisso Rodriguez. It turned out to be nothing special which was very disappointing. "Okay, you have to test further instead of giving as a gift to your mother" (she is always happy to adopt my failed purchases). Then I tested it on a warm, sunny day and it was nice. Something like frozen lilies of the valley with addition of lemon slices, quite an unusual combination. Today I feel even more - cold lilies of the valley with the addition of frozen lemon peel and some distant memory of Envy Gucci (the first one). Something similar to green, cold grape juice. Probably it's a combination of lily of the valley (which formally doesn't exist in Miu Miu, but many people feel them) and musk. Both ingredients are present in these fragrances. Well done, balanced, not to sweet, not to cold and not fruity (Escada type) of perfume. We'll see what happens next, fragrances like this make me keep blind buying. And bottle is beautiful - in art deco style. A very feminine design.

Quite nice, if short-lived. It's a very light, watery floral scent. No heady or bubblegum tuberose here; it's almost more like water lily. Watery, floral, sparkling, effervescent, youthful, spring. I get the musk, but not the dark, oud, animalic notes the graph here claims exist. There's something grounding it but it's not civet or oud or anything like that. Someone mentioned a "sour vegetal" note, and I think that's accurate (though it's sour in a good way). It feels like it's got top and middle notes with no base notes, but it doesn't suffer for it. It's sadly ephemeral, gone within half an hour for me. I have a dabber mini, so maybe the experience would be different with an atomizer. A nice experience, but more like a body splash in terms of longevity. 7/10.

In my opinion, this is one of those perfumes that it takes a while to like. At first snif, it appears a bit harsh and different, not too feminine. And then, you can slowly start enjoying the soft tuberose. If you're not a big fan of tuberose (some people think that it's outdated), you might still like this because the tuberose in this perfume doesn't scream "I'm here". To my nose, this scent is almost peppery with a delicate tuberose background. This perfume smells like a lady in her late 20s who knows what she's doing and what she wants. She's delicate and soft but also very confident. I personally really like this fragrance, but I can see why other people might not like it. It is very different and not your average floral scent.

This perfume is very closely related to Miu Miu Miu Miu and L'eau Bleu. I would say it is exactly halfway between those two. It has the fresh opening of L'eau bleu (not as green and sparkling though) and the pretty but plastic-y drydown of Miu Miu Miu Miu. When you have both, Fleur d'argent starts to feel a little boring. Still pretty though.

This one’s for the flower and musc lover for sure. It starts like a huge burst of fresh jasmin flowers and lilac that smells very beautiful and natural (I don’t get any tuberose). After a while the musc appears and slowly takes over the composition. I can still smell it the next day.

sweet,soft and feminine, but not too special. would be a good/tame introduction to tuberose perfumes for a young girl

First blast of tuberose, sweet and strong, cloying. Soft musk after a minute, giving a feeling of warmth and weight, still sweet. Sinking deeper still when a faint woods note starts to warm on my skin, still sweet and turning powdery. Rather nice, at least it's not yet another generic designer fruity white floral, but it's not groundbreaking or anything. Pleasant enough though that strong tuberose might be a bit much for the office or in summer. Moderate projection. Feminine and best for cooler weather. 6+ hours later: The scent has lightened a bit, not much of the musk or woods really. Just powdery sweet white florals, faint on my skin.

This has to be one of the muskiest fragrances I've ever smelled. While I love musk, I wish the florals, (not sure if it is just tuberose here as listed), was the focal point and not playing second fiddle to the musk. I'm happy to say I don't find this particularly sweet. I think what sweetness here is coming from the oud, which in this fragrance is beautifully done, but is soon eclipsed by that heavy blanket of musk. If you like very musky floral perfumes this is the one for you.
