Miu Miu Fleur de Lait

Fleur de Lait is less like the mango sago it set out to be, and more like the first bite of a fluffy vanilla sponge cake drenched in cold coconut milk cream, soft edges still warm from the oven, its scent smooth and enveloping, softly sweet and nothing cloying. The coconut cream itself is luscious but not wholly indulgent, the silky sort of lactonic that doesn't read too thick. The cake's aroma stretches slowly, reminding me of a sticky, skinless mochi filling, its tender texture pulling and curling with a delicate chewiness comforting and comforting again, but without overwhelming the senses. Texture-wise the fragrance pulls velvet-like and immensely creamy, like the moist inner surface of the cake, mellow and untouched. Underneath, a soft layer of fruit begins to pulse gently, ripe and soft canned peach accompanying melty, cooked mango as it adds its warm, plush sweetness into the already chiffon, pillow-like composition. They don’t so much burst with juice as they fold cozily into the gently soaking cake, melding into the layers while complementing the starchy roundness of the milk-mochi with a honeyed, lush ripeness, creating a soft, almost syrupy contrast. The sillage of the fragrance, commonly touted as an issue, is indeed hushed. This to me, however, just adds to the comforting nature of the scent. It presses close, like the warm embrace of a blanket, curling against the skin, soft and intimate, nestled in its soft, creamy cocoon and extending its gentle embrace for hours. A gourmand never too far from your senses but never quite front and center—that is exactly its charm. Noticing throughout your day the steadfast ribbons of coconut and pulls of sweet mochi, catching lingering impressions of honeyed fruit, realising the last brush creamy, powdery finality, like falling for the last romantic bite of dessert. From the first velvety rush of coconut to the delicate touches of mango and powder, Fleur de Lait is a wonderful, addictive afternoon delight, warm like the comfort of a sweet treat shared in silence, each note pausing on your tongue—or in this case, your nose—just long enough to educe your love.

I initially picked this up because I was looking at the bottle in the store and thought it was so cute. Upon smelling it, I was hooked... The perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness stood out to me so much, it’s so delicious and pretty without being too overpowering. It’s unbelievably hot and humid in Japan, so I think that this would be a wonderful gourmand for this kind of weather as it’s got a natural sweetness like a real fruit and it’s just lightly creamy. My SA then came over and told me that it’s supposed to smell like mango and the Chinese almond tofu dessert, which I totally agree. I think more than the Thai mango and coconut sticky rice dessert, it smells like almond tofu, definitely because of the osmanthus. On my skin, I think it still retains a lot of that mango note and the creaminess stays without getting sticky or sour. It lasts a good 6 hours and the sillage is within arms distance — great for me! However I would like to share, by pure chance I went to the convenience store with my friend after I had purchased this perfume andI decided to buy an ice cream called Gatsun. The flavour was mikan, pineapple, and almond tofu (if you’d like to look it up, it’s ガツン、とみかん&パイン杏仁豆腐). I didn’t read exactly what the flavour was when I was buying it — I just thought it was fruit punch or something — but as soon as I took a bite, I immediately thought the flavour was almost exactly like what this perfume smells like. So, as any good friend would, I made my friend smell me and then take a bite of the ice cream too haha.

Sweet and tender mango with a hint of fresh tartness, creamy undertones, a touch of florals, and a soft powdery nuance. It feels gourmand yet never truly edible. I have not tried the Asian dessert this fragrance is said to be inspired by, but if I were to compare it to food, it reminds me of a creamy chia pudding topped with mango jelly, creamy and mango sweet yet still light and refreshing. The mango here is exactly how I like it. It is not as simple and basic as in shower gels, yet it is also not overly complicated with piney or unusual notes as niche perfumery often tries to do, sometimes unsuccessfully in my opinion. Instead, it captures the soft, tender flesh of ripe mango, creating a scent that is pleasant, feminine, and creamy while still feeling truly perfumey. The composition is beautifully blended and perfectly balanced, with moderate sweetness and no cloying stickiness. The mango remains present throughout the entire wear. I do not agree that it disappears quickly, leaving only florals. It lingers as a light, airy veil, soft rather than intense, yet it is still lasting and noticeable in an elegant and refined way.

This smells very pretty. The perfect summer fragrance if pretty sugary airy perfumes are your vibe. This is the second Miu Miu fragrance I’ve tried, ever. So far, I really like their brand. I feel like they are good at putting out crowd-pleasing, undeniably feminine fragrances, with scent profiles that stand out in the accessible mainstream fragrance space. For this fragrance in particular, you smell like a fairy on vacation with sweet airy pineapple, mango, and lactonic coconut. It’s refreshingly tropical and reminds me of smoothies we make in the Caribbean. Still, I’m noticing a pattern with Miu Miu fragrances in lack of potency. This is yet another fragrance they have that would likely be leaps and bounds more successful if it lasted longer. However, unlike Twist, they do not offer this scent in a travel size. “I’ve never been the type to hold lack of longevity against a great fragrance, so long as it’s reasonably priced and easily portable (eg. travel-size), so as to mitigate the drawbacks of reapplication.” - Selenity (12/14/2023) on Fleur de Lait by Miu Miu Sadly, this fragrance has neither of those attributes.

This is so dreamy and gorgeous. It’s not what you’d expect based on the notes. This is a very beautiful light skin scent. It’s fresh, clean, barely sweet and fruity with a very pronounced milky-ness ☁️ (it smells like how the bottle looks). I barely get any of the notes listed, they’re all done in the lightest most angelic, milky, barely there type of way. Just adding hints of themselves. This smells like a luxe milky tropical spa🧖♀️. I can see how some ppl would be upset at this when not knowing what to expect bc it is so light, but to me that’s the beauty of it. This is so natural and pretty, it flutters off of your skin gently instead of punching you in the face. It smells like an angel. Delicate, etherial, feminine, sweet, milky, clean, heavenly! It stays intimate but it lasts surprisingly long. I smell this on myself thoughought the whole day lingering around and the next day on my clothes. It’s just Heavenly!! Such a comforting yet pretty smell. If you love lightly sweet, milky, clean, fruity/floral scents and you’re ok w it staying intimate, I highly recommend! This is such a gem 💎 🪽🥛🥭☁️🥥🫧🌬️🤍🧘

I would wear this all year long, all day all night. It's that delicious. It's also the only perfume that my husband has smelled on me and immediately went, oh that is so good, you MUST have it. The chemistry between my skin and FDL is crazy because it really pulls creamy, very soft, decadent mango that isn't bright juicy but more nectar juicy, drenched in thick, lactonic milkiness. The osmanthus genuinely pulls its weight on delivering the musky charm of sticky rice while still balancing the mango's sweetness with a delicate black tea-like vapor; I think that's the difference for reviews who said they can't 'see' the sticky rice in this. I am not big on tropical scent profiles, which the accords state, but FDL is a beautiful soft milky type with a touch of tropical. Leans towards colder seasons, I reckon this could get sour fast in a humid bo-inducing environment. Lasts hours on me (especially the beautiful osmanthus), gorgeous arms' length projection that doesn't cloy.

A gorgeous creamy, tropical, moderately sweet mango, coconut perfume. It’s super soft, creamy, buttery, milky and floral in the same time, without having the sickening sweetness of other designers mango forward perfumes. To be fair, the scent inside doesn’t smell like the bottle, that immaculate, pristine white, even though it has a hint of lactonic facets from the coconut. I think a medium yellow coloured bottle would fit the jujce inside like a glove! It’s more of a summertime perfume with a soft sillage and a 5-6 longevity on skin, but it’s smells delectable. I don’t think i have been impressed by anything from Miu Miu so far, but Fleur de Lait is pretty gorgeous! I am buying it as soon as I get a decent offer on it, it’s not necessarily a priority because of the season we’re in. But for next year hot weather months is perfect! I would recommend this perfume to anyone who wants a tastefully done mango/coconut designer scent! It’s really good in my opinion

Fruity, milky and clean. I’ve waited 3 years to have this fragrance so I had to get the 100ml. I really like this one, almost a love. It’s perfect for spring/summer daytime, office/work appropriate as well. The milk note in here is exactly what I wanted dedcool’s milk fragrances to have. This has that clean skin feel, slightly sweet from the fruit and leans feminine with a touch of floral. This is very light & soft, almost a skin scent. It is ever so slightly powdery. Smells like you took a milky bath and had a mango tea. Really beautiful fragrance. Perfect for the clean girl aesthetic. If you’re looking for gourmand this isn’t really it. If you want a juicy realistic mango look towards Mango Skin by VP. This also doesn’t lean in TF soleil blanc territory, Miu Miu remains more creamy and soft and less citrus/floral than that Soliel Blanc profile.

I’m so glad miu miu has re-released this fragrance at Sephora. I knew in 2023 before I ever smelled this that I would love it. The scent profile and ingredients are completely honest. While simple it is an obsessively delicious and clean fragrance that makes you feel awake. It opens with the most beautiful photorealistic mango, with the soft linen and powder-like osmanthus. Osmanthus is not in the base but I do feel like it does drive this fragrance home. The coconut milk in this is not overly lactonic, it doesn’t seek to be a realistic gourmand. It does a beautiful job balancing the tart and the fresh, and the coconut scent is what you’re left with after hours of wear. This isn’t a fragrance everyone will understand, but would be worn by someone smart and sexy.

I like it so much!! This smells literally the same like my childhood mango coconut drink in HK😭 super good. It opens with a sweet milky mango accord not complex at all but good enough to bring me back to my good old times~ the coconut joins in afterwards and some floral accord at the end as well, it smells like the notes listed on fragrantica! It’s way better than moonlight in heaven(By Kilian) IMO, if you enjoy sweet mango and Lactonic scents like I do you’d definitely enjoy this too! Don’t know why it gets so much hate here 🥹 if you’re from HK/Taiwan this will definitely remind you the mango coconut drinks we drink ~~ It doesn’t smell like Cow from zoologist... cow is much fresher and sour (from the green apple accord) this smells like a dessert

I am so happy to say that this smells exactly like the add would suggest. Lactonic coconut milk, sweet juicy mango chutney, vanilla sponge cake and frosty coconut glaçage. I am not a very « designer » girl but was curious to smell it for the exclusivity and hype, and I was not expecting to be so seduced! For the ones looking desperately to smell it, I have found it in Tokyo Shibuya mall. I have explored Singapore, Hanoi and Paris few days before and couldn’t find it. Neither in Australia of course. So good luck! They only had the 100ml left but I needed it so bad. This is one of the best coconut fragrance, as I feel fragrances never smell like the coconut I am craving for. Edit: I also found it at the Hong Kong international airport!

I love this. My friend was so kind to send me a sample and it was instant love. I want to try every lactonic, and this one was lovely. I will say, I think lactonics exist on a spectrum with a clean type of creamy on one end and photorealistic milk on the other, and this sits more towards the clean end, but not too far. It's reminiscent of a mango lassi, but more beachy, if that makes sense. When I smell this, images of summer and sunshine appear. I also think the bottle and name suits the scent perfectly, which I always love. I see a lady in a white sundress with golden accessories wearing this. I find the longevity to be great and the sillage moderate. Definitely a fun and lovely summer scent.

i could write an article on this. this is the creamy fruity most beautifully balanced fragrance i have ever smelled. my only complaint is that it doesn’t last forever. or really long, at all. the osmanthus and coconut milk create a rounded and beautiful base for the light sweet mango to rest upon, giving you a delicate and mature scent that still develops in your nose even as you pull away. this fragrance has a lot to say, its very confident and natural. at first sniff it almost smells like a white floral, but those notes blend once it hits the skin. i layer with Glossier’s Soie, and i get the warmest, softest coconutty deep solar scent. i wanna cry.

This fragrance is just as delicious as it sounds! It's straight up coconut and mango to my nose, very fresh, bright, creamy and tropical! The coconut is very prominent in the dry down. Coconut is my favourite fragrance note, I own many coconut fragrances but I struggled to find one where the coconut is a dominant note, and not just another note next to vanilla, white flowers, fruits, etc. Fleur de Lait is perfect. I purchased this at the Miu Miu store in Harrods, London, this seemed to be the only place that had it. If anyone in the UK wants to try it, I'm happy to share a few small decants (PM me).

I absolutely love this scent. As someone who enjoys gourmands, this is a perfect example of a summer weather gourmand, and I believe it is because of the coconut and milky notes. A lot of people have commented saying it doesn’t project, but with my skin chemistry it just JUMPS off. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments and my husband thinks I smell like mango sticky rice when wearing it

8/10 Opens extremely green. Very fresh, sweet mango type of scent - like the green ones that aren't quite yet ripe. That's where the florals come in. The coconut is very faint, but does get stronger as time goes on. Dries down sweeter too. I think this is great for layering with others as it is not very strong at all. Occasion: sunny beach day in Southeast Asia.

This is a lovely fragrance - coconut milk and mango. However it doesn't last(1 hour tops), not even on clothes. Projection is crap as well. I was so excited for this fragrance but it was definitely underwhelming and overhyped. Not as good as I imagined it. I will use up this bottle but I wouldn't repurchase it.

This opens floral and fresh, then mellows out into an authentic mango floral scent. It’s definitely tropical but not too sweet or cloying. It’s an amazing take on a tropical fruity&floral scent without it being too solar and sunscreen like. If tropical scents come off as sunscreen on you, this is it 10/10

I'm obsessed with coconut scents and this is no exception. It's pretty linear with suntan lotion vibes. This reads tropical to me...perfect for a day on the beach. Creamy salty coconut mango milkshake. This also reminds me slightly of Kylie Jenner pink lips. The only con is poor longevity.

Not sure why all the bad reviews, but I love this fragrance and I think it’s pretty for spring and summer! Yes, it’s not overpowering, but it still lasts on my skin and especially on my clothes much longer. I get about 12 hours on clothing and about 6 to 8 hours on my skin. Love it!

I wish it were a little stronger, I LOVVVE it but the performance is poor. Still, one of the best-smelling skin scents to me. That soft, sweet creaminess is very balanced.

This is the creamiest tropical perfume that I have, it’s the clean girl vibe and it’s not sweet and that’s what I love. Waithing for spring/summer to wear it more!

The scent profile is amazing and I have to admit I was sucked in with the promotion picture. It is a beautiful summer scent. Fresh and tropical from the coconut. It is perfect for a warm day. I would say that it is very unisex because it is not sweet at all. It is not very lactonic as well. I get mainly a ripe sour mango that is very juicy. The coconut rounds it out so that it is not too sour. I do not get the leathery aspect of Osmanthus but I do get the apricot smell. Overall, it is juicy and summery. I think the cake in the promotion picture gave an impression that it would be a gourmand coconut mango cake scent, but it is not that at all. I do love the scent, however, the longevity is abysmal! It's gone way too soon and I reapply it very often because I still love the scent profile. The bottle is beautiful but I just wish the quality is better for the price. Edit: Now I can smell the creamy coconut but you have to apply so much (10+ sprays) so it lasts long enough for you to get to the dry down. I have been wearing it for a week now and all other attempts, I probably undersprayed.

One of my best blind buys this year. I love this! Definitely a mango scent, though I don't get much coconut on my skin to relate this to a mango sago dessert. Not floral at all to my nose, mostly sweet fruity mango, i also get some citrusy greeness from pomelo. But I am not big into sickly sweet gourmands so this is as gourmand as i want to get. Basically this smells like mango smoothie bubble tea to me. LOVE! Amazing tropical summer scent! Wish I got a 100ml as this is soooo light and I know I will get through this quickly. That is my only disappointment with this perfume. This seems to be regularly sold out though and I don't see the 100ml being offered any longer on the website. Edit: Performance is terrible. Gone in 60 seconds. Ok maybe not 60 seconds, but nothing after an hour. Sadddd.....

Sharp, strong white florals at first. Then the mango comes out, but a green mango, not a ripe, juicy one, and the floral scent becomes smoother. Not sure how I really feel about this perfume yet. Update: A month later, this perfume is a lot less sharp. It is still a white floral scent though, with very little sweetness coming from the mango note. Very soapy clean also. I do enjoy it, but there is nothing amazing or addicting about this scent, so I will never purchase a full bottle. Update: Pretty but boring and linear. It also disappeafs after a few minutes on my skin.

Debated between getting this VS L'eau Rosée. Chose this one ultimately because it is an edp. Fleur de Lait has the somewhat unique quality of being delicate whilst still having tropical notes. On paper, it's this bouquet of fresh florals and fresh milk, addicting to smell. On skin however, the initial spray you're met with much more of the coconut and mango stated. Pleasant smell, don't get me wrong, but not this almost elegant, airy and light scent i had imagined. Girlish essentially, not the more sophisticated scent that i find L'eau Rosée to be.

I'm personally not a huge fan of mango, but the advertising for this perfume completely sold me in! As it's sold out everywhere currently, I bought a 30ml bottle at Incheon Airport duty free as I was travelling back home to test it out. A very gourmand and lactonic fragrance, smells kind of like mango and sticky rice. A beautiful play of both milky and fruity! I tried this scent for the first time in winter and wasn't impressed at all. In late spring, when the weather was warmer, I gave it another try, and omg! Beautiful creamy mango with hints of coconut, very round and comforting. This is probably the ultimate tropical skin scent. It sits close to the skin, but I find it even sexier because only someone who gets close to you can smell it. Pair it with the Mango Mood body mist by Phlur to get a fizzier, cooler-girl vibe.

Lord knows I’ve been waiting for this beauty since 2022/2023. So happy to finally call her mine. She’s such a pretty, feminine, tropical scent. I was hoping for it to be more lactonic and creamy but it’s not. She’s super tropically, and very similar to Glossier you fleur. I also wish this had a better projection and strength as she’s too pretty to only last 1-2 hours on my skin. I smell mango, I smell tropically florals. Love the bottle and atomizer is pretty good.

At first, I thought this fragrance had no scent at all because I had just washed my hair with a coconut-scented shampoo, and that smell was actually stronger than the perfume itself. Anyway, this smells like generic sunscreen with a coconut scent. The mango is noticeable only for the first few minutes, after which it turns into mainly coconut — and even that doesn’t last very long. It’s not bad, but the longevity is really too short.

I really liked this perfume. I have a mini size I got from Sephora with Miutine. It does smell like mangoes and cream with a base that has a similar DNA to Miutine, the other popular Miu Miu perfume. My boyfriend said it smells like grandma to him so I don't think I'll upgrade to a full bottle. I don't know if it's because I have a coffret, but the scent disappears kind of quick and I can only smell it if I bring my nose to my skin.

I was so excited for this scent because fruity with lactonic notes is right up my alley. But a fragrance that all but disappears within an hour is definitely not worth the price. This starts off smelling like almost overripe tropical fruit (almost mango, but not quite), the milky scent comes in weakly a little later and this dries down to a scent that's, for lack of a better way to describe it, transparent and lacking in depth.

I'm a bit of a sucker for the lactonic profile so blind bought the 30ml. Opening is pretty photorealistic mango and milk drink and although it's pretty you think, do I really want to smell like this? The dry down is much more like it, it deepens and that's where it shines. One I'll probably break open on hot days or holidays or a summer bbq, it's fun and bit different. Edit: been layering with Bal D'Afrique and God it works.

This reminds me of a Hong Kong dessert called mango pomelo sago. It’s made with mango, coconut milk, pomelo and sago. I really enjoy this mango note but I can’t overspray or else the coconut gets a little overwhelming to me. It doesn’t last long on my skin. I get about 2-3 hours, which works for me and the bottle is super pretty. It’s a strong like for me!

So fresh and delicious! Fleur de Lait vaguely reminds me of Le Monde Gourmand's Lait de Coco but with a delightful mango twist. It's airy and cold-leaning rather than a warm, summery gourmand. I received a mini with a Sephora purchase which I will happily use up, but the performance will stop me from investing in a FB. Definitely worth trying though!

REALLY nice scent and gives a great tropical vibe but feels like it’s missing something that I can’t quite put my finger on. It doesn’t have great sillage in a stagnant environment but it does carry some on a windy day. Overall I’m glad I have it in my collection and will probably use it more as a layering fragrance than a stand alone.

Pretty and inoffensive, exactly what it says it is on the carton. It's mango and it's coconut, I don't get much floral. There's another review that likens it to a mango hi-chew and I agree. It doesn't have a lot of presence but it's nice and light for a day that you want something but not too much. A nose treat.

The opening smells exactly like a mango dessert. As it dries down, the mango softens, leaving a beautifully balanced blend of sweetness, osmanthus, and coconut. Sweet gourmand fragrances often smell plasticky to me, but this one doesn’t. I really like it.

this is pleasant. absolutley give me montblanc signature vibes, just subtract the clementine and add mango. longevity is not great but if you're willing to overspray and keep it around for reapplication, it's quite pretty!
